"Visiting MD during the week and accidentally but happily stumbled upon this delightful authentic Thai restaurant on a Friday evening while shopping in nearby stores. I noticed most folks ordered takeout but decided to dine in instead of eating in my hotel room. For my appetizer, I enjoyed the Hoi Ob Lemongrass- steamed 7 large New Zealand mussels in a flavorful infused lemongrass, ginger, and bay leaf broth. Absolutely worthwhile to drink to the last drop! For my main entree, I ordered the Crab Pad Thai, level 1 spicy, another winner dish! Typically I order shrimp pad Thai dish level 2 because I like heat in my food but was cautious since this was a new restaurant for me. I was delighted to see this crab version/ option available here in MD. Generous portion including the crab, see huge plate picture below please excuse the already squeezed lime in the picture) and level 1 spice is true- mild. Next time when I visit, I will take it 1 notch up to level 2 spicy! I was too full to eat the entire dish so I ended up happily taking it home for next day leftovers especially because I wanted to save room for my favorite dessert- Mango with sticky rice. Mango was spot on ripe and enjoyed with the warm coconut sticky rice. Raymond, Assistant Manager at the restaurant was hospitable, taking time to talk to me and ensure that I enjoyed the various dishes. Looking forward to coming back and trying other dishes!"

"Let me summarize this fantastic restaurant with a few key points. 1. Great dining experience; the interior is elegant, clean, and has good feng shui. It's very pleasant to sit inside. 2. Reasonable prices; we had two main dishes, an appetizer, Thai teas, dessert, and it only cost $62. If you opt for a simpler meal without dessert and appetizer, it will be around $40 for two people. 3. Delicious food; the coconut curry was creamy and delicious, the vegetables were a wonderful mix of bamboo shoots, baby corn, and other veggies. The eggplant basil was melt-in-your-mouth and the basil added a smooth, herb-y flavor. The veggie tempura was amazing, especially with the plum sauce. Everything we tried was outstanding. 4. Very vegetarian friendly; they can make most dishes vegetarian-friendly, which is great for vegetarians like me. There are also non-vegetarian options for those who eat meat. 5. Friendly service; our waitress, Nok, was sweet, friendly, and had good vibes. 6. A hidden gem; located behind a Shell gas station, you might miss it if you don't drive around the back. There's a large parking lot, so don't hesitate to come for a meal. 7. Support a 71-year-old chef; Nok told us the chef has been there for 21 years, giving the food a homely touch like your grandma made it. Overall, I will definitely be returning to this restaurant and bringing my friends. You should too."
