"Restaurant atmosphere was great with the pictures and paraphernalia of Mr. Bettis. We were so excited to make this one of our top sites on our first ever visit all the way from NC to see the Pittsburgh Steelers, but unfortunately when it came to waiting for our order and our food. This became one of the worst experiences during our entire trip. We waited 45 minutes once we ordered our food and the restaurant wasn’t even half full. My husband ordered the deviled egg appetizer which should have came before our food, but after we got our dishes was told by the waiter that new eggs were still being prepared. Our dishes were very disappointing as well and didn’t have any flavor. We also were disappointed because in preparation for our visit the other guests and I had went on the website to download the free appetizer offer for visiting the restaurant, but it would not download and we called the restaurant about it before coming to Pittsburgh and the host acted like they didn’t know what we were referring to as well as the waiter at the restaurant. The waiter offered a dessert on the house to compensate for the terrible experience, but then changed his mind after another waiter finally brought out three deviled eggs to our table after we were finished eating and an hour and thirty minute wait!! Thank goodness we paid for two hours of parking. Mr. Bettis we expected better especially since your restaurant was supposed to be one of the top choices and we are your number one Steelers fans!!"

"Took my parents here for dinner after visiting the Farmers Market. I live in Stockton and they live in Modesto. My girlfriend an I have been visiting Lodi a lot lately and we have been raving about some of the great places downtown for food and drink. Decided to check out Fenix based on reviews. At first the service was great, exactly what we were expecting, we ordered a couple of appetizers and salads to start, we than had our main entrees and that's when all of a sudden the service just stopped. For some reason the water in our glasses stopped coming and we had to finish entrees with no water, we then waited forever to get any service to box up our left overs. My girlfriend had to suggest to the server that we would like desert, to which we waited forever again to receive, again finishing with no water or drinks offered. Meanwhile we watched as the Chef or owner walked to all the tables around ours, asking how people were enjoying their food and if everything was satisfying. Hmm Very curious. It was like all of a sudden we were outcast. We dress decent not extravagant. We spare no money when it comes to food. We usually only drink water at home or out to eat because that's just who we are. It's not uncommon for us to spend $300-$400 when we go out to eat as a family. We enjoy great food and extremely appreciate good customer service. Well as I said, for some reason our service just dropped off after we received our entrees. Literally no water in our glasses from half way through until we left after dinner. When the server finally brought our desert, my mother tried to ask her for another desert to go because she really wanted to try it, when she tried to get the servers attention to ask, the server just walked away ignoring her. Well needless to say that had an impact on gratuity. We always appreciate our servers and the rest of the staff at restaurants we visit. We always expect to leave 20% and higher. However, this sever received 12%. It really bums us out more than them. We like to show appreciation but we also like to be appreciated as customers. After all, we don't have to buy your food at your establishment. Our money is just as good as anyone's. The food was great, very good, that's why even though we were full, we wanted some things to go. The service however was lacking for some reason. The hostess was great, but for some reason we got brushed off by the server and girl who was bringing water and bread. It was especially insulting when the chef or owner decided to cater to customers asking about their experience and quality of food to every table around us accept ours. Oh well, I guess there are other places to eat. You know, people really like to pay for good food, and get really excited when they find a place that everything they try on the menu is so great you want to order something to go after a dinner with appetizers, entrees, and desert. But people really appreciate customer service and being generally recognized and appreciated like anyone. No matter how great food is, customer service attitude can kill a business!!"

"Updated review I convinced my husband to go back because I thought we could have a quick breakfast. They apparently no longer offer sausage, only bacon, which is disappointing. No where on their website does it say when breakfast is over, I 've been able to get it around noon before, and even if u could do an online order, it allows u to add breakfast items and doesn 't list a cut off time. We got there around 11:30am, the boards had changed to lunch, so we asked if we could order breakfast. The cashier (I think he 's the manager we had issues with years ago about the camera), said breakfast was closed. My husband asked what time that happened. He wasn 't even really sure. He said 10 or 10:30. I don 't know what that means when employees don 't even know when breakfast ends. Now I 'm confused on if and when breakfast actually stops. So we ended up leaving, going somewhere else, and had a great meal and time. One last thing. The girl in front of us that kind of cut in front of us had on a thong bikini bottom and some shorts that had tons of holes and were completely see through. I think she should have been asked to leave, it was not appropriate as any type of cover up and it was actually quite nasty. I 'm glad we didn 't stay cuz that alone made me want to leave and vomit. Below is my original review that I think is important for people to see because 3 years later, it is still one of the weirdest interactions I 've had with an employee. The only reason it 's two stars and not less is they have really good breakfasts, a vegetarian sandwich, and salads. I get coupons emailed to me, which makes the pricing really appealing, this location is just not very convenient to me. Now the reason for only two stars. The last time we were there, we went for breakfast and had an unfortunate situation with the manager approaching my husband, who was playing around with his camera settings, not taking pictures of anything mind you, and telling my husband he could not take pictures inside. We thought he was joking because as my husband was being profiled, two teenagers sat near us taking pictures with their phone, but were never approached. Nevermind there being no signs of this rule anywhere. CB never made this right. Now, my husband has no desire to go anymore, so we don 't."
