"Woody's is typically a fantastic spot for a good breakfast or lunch, and I usually lean towards breakfast. However, my experience with the Speck Cheese Burger for lunch today was, to put it mildly, disappointing. The burger was tough, with gristle, and it reminded me of goat meat I had while in Jamaica. I'm not one to complain often, but I feel compelled to share my experience in hopes that others might find a better quality ground beef option there. I was really looking forward to a delicious burger, but I ended up with a disappointing hunk of meat that I only managed to eat because I was hungry!"

"Not only is the food amazing but the customer service is phenomenal!!! My fiancé accidentally spilt his coffee on my food as soon as we got the food and the man that took our order was super friendly and very responsive at helping. He got a new orderout to us in a timely manner. He did all this with a smile and was incredibly accommodating. This is the best service that we?veseen in a very long time and are incredibly impressed. This makes us want to come back whenever we are in town. Unfortunately wedidn?t get his name but he deserves all the praise. If you want fantastic food and great service this is the place!"

"Best kept secret in Greenville. We had Shrimp....cold as a cocktail and fried. Cooked properly and taste great. The homemade sauces, especially the cocktail were a nice compliment. It was my husband's birthday and he got Key LimePie which was delicious and nicely plated. Staff were attentive and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Decor and atmosphere is like being at the coast casual and relaxed. We'll look forward to returning."

"I went here for breakfast as it isn’t far from home. My first impression was that they were packed…this was not accurate. They just share a parking lot. I walked in and upon first impression, the hostess seemed less enthusiastic to be at work on a Saturday. I get it but her overall demeanor wasn’t welcoming. Perhaps giving her a script to say as guests walk in would alleviate. She really just didn’t seem to know what to say. There was an awkward silence…no greeting…so I finally just said “table for 1”. She sat me at the second booth from the window and walked away. I probably only waited 1:20 before sweet Kathleen walked up. Her intro was pleasant and cheerful. She’s a gem. I let her know it was my first time there and she was helpful in suggestions and even upselling. She knew her menu and made me the best iced coffee ever. Seriously, amazing cinnamon roll ice coffee. I ordered the carnitas skillet upon Kathleen’s recommendation. Overall, presentation was great. It came out rather fast which never impresses me. But it was hot. The only complaint I truly have is I manage a breakfast restaurant and I’m familiar in the freshness of hash browns. These were not fresh but the flavor of the skillet outweighed that. Kathleen also recommended a cinnamon roll. I wasn’t disappointed. I just hate how cinnamon rolls get hard rather quickly if not eaten right away; and since it was as big as my face, I could not eat it all. I’ll definitely be back for Kathleen’s service. Such a beautiful spirit and I genuinely loved her! Even as they got busy, she never made me feel less important than anyone else. She really handled her section with ease!"

"Today was my first time ordering from this restaurant, and overall it was a decent experience. The tomato basil soup was excellent, while the Cali Grill sandwich was just okay. One half of the sandwich was nicely packed with filling, but the other half seemed hastily put together and lacked substance, though it was still tasty. Finding good vegetarian options can be challenging, but this place has a solid selection. The iced tea, however, was a bit bitter. I requested extra ice, but instead received it without any ice at all, likely because the brew was hot when poured and the ice melted quickly, leaving me with lukewarm tea instead of refreshing iced tea. Despite some drawbacks, I will definitely return, as there are many other tempting items on the menu that I want to try."

"I had a delightful breakfast at this restaurant. The steel-cut oatmeal was hearty and satisfying, perfect to fuel my day. The coffee was nice and smooth, adding to the experience. I also enjoyed a gorgeous breakfast sandwich. There's free Wi-Fi, which is a nice bonus. "My wife and I both chose the pick 2 option, which came with a panini and a bowl of chicken soup for her, and a broccoli and cheddar soup for me. The panini was quite delicious, but the soups were pretty average. We also took home two mini Bundt cakes, two lemon bars, and some brownie bites. Looking back, we wish we hadn’t ordered so much since most of it was just mediocre."

"I've been visiting Philly for business for the past ten years...minus the pandemic. I stop into this place a few times a week to grab coffee and breakfast on my way into the office. This is my first time back in Philly in three years, and I was so glad to see a familiar face at the Corner Bakery. Wendell has always been friendly and helpful, and he has a great attitude, something that is often missing in the service industry. "Bought 2 cappuccinos, an egg bowl and oatmeal early morning. I got one large cappuccino for myself and a small for my boyfriend, everything was amazing- the food was alright (though it was called Bacon Avocado Egg Bowl there was not a lot of bacon and more of tomatoes) but my boyfriend said the oatmeal didn 't taste fresh.The problem we had was that my large cappuccino had the same amount as my boyfriend 's small cup. I noticed this when I set the cups on the table, mine was relatively light compared to my boyfriend 's small cup. I opened it and dug the foam to the side to see how much liquid there is and to my surprise it was basically the same amount as a small. In reference, mine [large] was halfway full while the small cup is filled close to the brim.We complained and was told that that 's how a cappuccino is, gave us the cup back with more foam. We didn 't argue anymore and just dealt with it. Wouldn 't recommend getting a larger size drink here."

"I recently discovered that one of my favorite breakfast spots, which I always visit when I'm in Oklahoma, has surprisingly opened a location in Alabama. At first, I thought it was a mistake on Google Maps since I've been to the OKC locations countless times. The biscuits at this new location are significantly better than those in Oklahoma, but they lack some popular menu items like sourdough toast and a few others found at the other locations. Overall, the food here doesn’t quite match the quality of the other places I frequent. The servers are friendly, but they could definitely be more attentive to their tables. While there’s room for improvement and it doesn't fully measure up to the other locations, it’s still a good place to eat, and I would definitely go back."

"Excellent food! We ordered the Steak and Eggs with English Muffin and fresh Cantaloupe...yum and dinner Steak, Mushrooms and Cloves of Garlic with Baked Potato, Texas Toast and Vegetables...yum also (except the Vegetables had a bit of different seasonings and it just didn't go with the soft drinks; but was also cooked just right). Very nice people that work there, very attentive and definitly keep an good home feeling throughout the restaurant. I recommend to anyone because it feels like an environment for all ages and will return again another time. Worth the money and the are very farely priced, especially for the size of the plate and we felt full and good after we ate."

"My first visit to Corner Bakery. Big warm welcome as soon as you step inside. If you don't eat sweets, don't be fooled by the name. They have soups, salads, sandwiches, and pasta. Plus a fairly extensive breakfast menu in addition to all the baked goods and sweets. Tons of drink options, sodas, coffees, teas, lemonades, and iced teas. I had the Uptown Avacado Turkey sandwich and it was excellent! Only slightly more expensive but much better than any sandwich I have ever had at Subway, Jimmy John's, Fire House, Pot Belly, Which Wich, Jersey Mike's, Schlotzskys, Antones, Quiznos or Jason's Deli. And that is saying a lot!! It was very fresh with excellent turkey and perfectly ripe avacado. My new sandwich go-to spot."

"What a great spot for breakfast. We were able to go online and make reservations. We went around 12/1 on a Saturday and they weren't that busy, but it could be because they close at 2. I think earlier in the day they usually have wait times so I would suggest going later or making a reservation. There is plenty of parking in the parking lot so you don't have to worry about that. Plenty of setting room. Our waitress was very patient and talked us through the menu. She was probably the best waitress I have had in a while. Very attentive and all our food was right. I had the carnitas queso skillet. It had hash browns in but I substituted it out for country potatoes. I also got no onions. This meal was amazing. There was plenty of queso so didn't have to ask for more. I love cheese and this was the best choice. The switch to add potatoes was a great choice for me too. I'm not a huge hash down person and the potatoes were amazing. The waitress helped me pick it out. She said it was her favorite thing too. My friend also gets the same dish every time she goes there. I also had the cinnamon roll French toast. They were ok but not what I expected. They didn't use thick bread. It was fairly thin and I'm not used to that for French toast. Not a huge fan so wouldn't get that again, but they did taste decent. Can't wait to go back again and try some other things on the menu next time I visit."
