"The staff at this restaurant is friendly, and the pizza is fantastic, especially with the extra cheese! If you appreciate authentic tomato sauce, you'll love their old-school approach to dining, which is very fiber-friendly. They even had a special on cheesecake for just $2, but we were too full to try it! By the way, I really enjoyed the fresh salad! Our server was great, especially during the Halloween season!"

"Food probly got down graded due to the horrible experience. On a business trip, seen this place needed reservations, to help staff and to come in knowing what I want due to late night and hungry. The table was super sticky. I didn't notice this right away due to knowing what I want in advance, place my order and see that my table feels like ots bathed in soda. Tried 3 times to get someone's attention to clean it. But everyone is always racing by. Even my waitress would drop food of in mid stride and gone. To top it all off, I found a bug crawling across my table. By the time I had enough I just paid and left. I wanted to just flip out on the lack of customer attention, poor house keeping, and bugs!"

"The first time you ever come to one of these places. I live south and they have no legends locations south. My family came for lunch. I felt bad for the server. She seemed completely alone and overwhelmed. But she did a great job. We shared a smoked fish dip cup. It wasn't very delicious. It is usually served with a lemon and a hot sauce, maybe even tomatoes. This had only some plucked jalapeños on the top and one side of salins and corn chips. For our meals, 2 people share the shrimp pool. I had the black bean burger without bread. My daughter had the chicken benches and pommes, and my other daughter had the Mahi Mahi sandwich with pommes. My burger came up with Swiss cheese, tomatoes, red onion and arugula. It was good. I liked the Pommes, but everyone else said they don't like them. My daughter liked her Mahi-Mahi sandwich. It was pretty big and she couldn't finish it. She took the other half home. But she didn't take her fries. My son and my daughter loved the Po-Junge Shrimp sandwich. They ended it and all their fries even though they said they don't like them. My daughter only ate one of her chicken pliers. I tried a bite and they were really good. My son also tried some and liked them. She said they were fine. We all had water, so I can't comment on the drinks. The food came out very quickly. Our bill was $86 before the tip. Apart from the fries and being underoccupied, I think this is a pretty good place to go."

"Benny's is a pretty nice breakfast/lunch place. Honestly, I've never had lunch there, but the menu looks pretty good. I have had their breakfast, I will say that they seem to understand the request for crisp bacon, which is refreshing. Many places, when asked for crisp bacon deliver meat that can't stand under its own weight. Benny's seems to get it! The eggs over medium are equally well prepared, fully cooked whites, runny yolks for dipping. As they should be. Hash browns are also well prepared, crisp where they should be, but still enough tender left that you know you weren't served potato chips. The biscuit gravy is on the good side of the spectrum, not the best I've had but I'm of southern heritage, so my knowledge of biscuit gravy is extensive. Still, quite passible for being this far north. All in all, Benny's is a nice place to have breakfast, and I'd assume lunch as well. It's nice to have a place in Oswego that is easy to get to, and has good offerings."

"sat with my son and his mom there today. we had sat all the way to the wall, but no one checked us for almost 40min. imagine having and starving their son with them, not only that they could not even offer us water. Finally, a woman came right behind us with her man and was immediately served, I was really upset, but I managed to keep it professional and ask for a manager and there they go young ladies and polite try their best ti get us free passion fruit ice tea that I don't take, I don't complain because I want free stuff. the manager himself brought us to eat and it was good, she asked me later if I want to whisper, and I said yes, but no one brought me a cake, it was another beat, but our blessing did her best, but they need better management and better communicate."

"Came here on New Year’s Eve and had a terrific experience. The servers (Erik, Kelly, and Aldo) were so inviting and friendly. I had serval questions about the menu and Kelly was able to answer everything in detail, I appreciate her patience! Ordered the espresso martini and it wasn’t as creamy as I normally like it but it was rich, dark, and strong, I would recommend trying it if you like espresso martinis. I ordered the cedar plank salmon which I would recommend. Lots of flavor and well presented. Chicken marsala was rich in flavor. The cheeseburger was good, but the messy flavor of all three. The meals all came with soup and salad. Pictured is the chicken soup that was hearty. Good food, good service, and good times. Come with a reservation and be prepared to valet park."

"My fiancée and I rented her cedar room to organize our wedding reception. It was very stressful to find a place that was not very expensive, and that was our solution. It had plenty of space, the food was amazing, the price was more than fair, and the staff was professional and efficient. They were very flexible when it came to decorate and even we are fine with serving food about half an hour earlier than expected. I'm really looking forward to what it did and the woman responsible for the cedar room's care is great. I recommend you if you have 100 or less guests. Thank you."

"The breakfast at this restaurant was the worst I've ever had! My children ordered sweet pancakes, and they hardly touched them because they found them disgusting. Usually, my kids eat quite well, so that says a lot. We also tried the pancakes, which were bland and flavorless—just a mixture of flour and water. I decided to try the banana nut bread French toast after the waiter assured me it was a top seller and made at another location. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the end of our disappointing experience! My husband ordered the chicken and waffles, which were also tasteless and looked unappetizing. The chicken broth was completely lacking in seasoning. Overall, this was our first and last visit to this restaurant. While it looks inviting from the outside, it definitely did not meet our expectations. If you’re searching for a great breakfast, I highly recommend Black Walnut Cafe or Eggsquisite Cafe. They might be a bit of a drive, but they're absolutely worth it!"

"I had an extremely disappointing experience at this restaurant. The place was chaotic and disorganized. When I tried to pay with my credit card, the machine malfunctioned and only processed part of the payment. It then couldn't complete the rest of the charge, and they refused to refund the partial amount. Instead, they asked me to use a different card, which meant I would have to go through the same frustrating process again. No thank you. Now I'm out the cash and didn't even get my food. I would recommend going somewhere else, as this place is poorly managed."

"There were both positives and some drawbacks during my visit. The food was excellent, and we tried a variety of dishes. However, since we were a larger group, the preparation took a while—I'm sure a couple would have been served much faster. They are in the process of updating their menu, so the prices and selection listed online don’t match what you find at the restaurant. For instance, the appetizer is listed as "crepes" (plural) on the website, complete with a picture of two crepes, but we only received one. This felt a bit misleading. Despite these issues, the food itself was delicious and offered a unique variety that's different from the usual fare. Because of that, I’d rate the place a bit higher than I typically would for a restaurant that has pricing inconsistencies."

"I've ordered sandwiches, calzones, and pizza from here with good results. Three choices on the pizza crust. Both the deep dish ale crust are our favorites, and the toppings are pretty fresh. Salads are good, both main dish side choices. Beer selection is plentiful, along with other liquor mixed drinks. Service is sometimes a little slow. Pizza prices are comparatively high, so I usually go when some kind of coupon is valid. They email them if you go on their email list. Parking here is seldom a problem, as they are out front of a local large strip mall."
