"I ordered the Club sandwich with ham and turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! The combination of meat, bread, and condiments was perfectly balanced. On the side, I had steak fries, which were tasty, though they could have been a bit crispier and needed a little more seasoning. The kids chose breakfast items: the youngest had silver dollar pancakes (one even came in the shape of Mickey Mouse!), while the oldest went for the Four Deuces. They shared the eggs and bacon; the pancakes were fluffy, and the eggs and bacon were quite good, although the eggs could have used a touch of salt. The service was prompt, everything was served hot and fresh, and overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Thank you for a wonderful dinner, Kettle Diner!"

"We enjoyed the food, our server did a good job, but it would have been less annoying if the table next to us had not been visited by a staff person who stood the whole visit and talked and talked and one person at the table had a loud voice that carried if the staff person had just sat down and visited it would have been a less distracting dinner for us. We like the ambiance of the Sullivan Street, New York, restaurant better but unfortunately you can't duplicate that."

"Great meal but pricey. Excellent food with really good service. I felt the prices were high for their basic menu items (think burgers and sandwiches). Overall everything was really tasty, even high end. For the entree meals I didn’t think it was too expensive, but for the basic items I felt it was slightly overpriced. Having said that, I highly recommend it. Their beers are really good as well as their food. Just don’t expect to get out for less than at least $30 $40 per person."

"If you like the option to choose non traditional wing flavors then look no further. Me my girlfriend came here in November and I’m so glad we did because it was the perfect flavor of the month. Stephanie Izard (the owner of Little Goat) Jake Melnicks teamed up for an amazing combination. The flavor consisted of This Little Goat’s Hong Kong sauce and their limited edition Ranch Chili Crunch to create Hong Kong Sticky Wings. They were seasoned and grilled to perfection, and then coated in the Ranch Chili crunch topped off with chives. For this being my first time coming here I got the best introduction I could ask for. I can’t wait to see what will be the next flavor of the month when I come by again."

"This restaurant, like many others in America and around the world, was understaffed when we visited close to 8pm with a party of 6. Despite being initially told there was no space for 6, we noticed two empty tables for 4 and requested to be seated there. It seemed like the staff could only handle orders for 4 people at a time. The service was slow, with the first table greeted before us and servers getting confused when they realized we were together. The food was decent, especially typical American dishes, but avoid the thin crust pizza as it seemed like a frozen option. The photos in this review are from the second table, where the food was good although the fries and onion rings were very oily. The beer was served cold and stayed cold despite the delays. I would recommend going during the day as the night seemed chaotic with loud music making it difficult to communicate with the staff. Overall, there are other restaurant options nearby to consider if this one doesn't meet your expectations."

"3rd visit. I'm just completely underwhelmed by this place. This time I got the Ahi tuna burger. It was a formed patty with chunks of tuna and it was just not that well executed. The flavors were okay but the burger was awkward. There was no sear on it, it was almost like it was microwaved. The temperatures on 2 of the 3 burgers were wrong. If you aren't going to cook them to the correct temperature why ask the customer what temp they want. The prices are outrageous for the quality of food. Our server was no where to be found for long stretches of time. And anytime I have to ask for water makes me feel like there is no point to having a server. It's such a simple thing to look at glasses to make sure everyone has what they need. It wasn't crazy busy so I know that didn't influence the service. I used to be a server for many years so I'm speaking from a place of experience."

"I was so disappointed with this restaurant. There were very few people in there but the waiter would leave and not come back for a while. His personality was such where we did not feel welcome. The carpet looked as if they had not vacuumed in a while. The booth seats looked frayed, some you can see the cuts from wear and tear. The coleslaw had to be sent back because it was barely edible, simply not good. The mac and cheese tasted powdery as if they used cheese powder instead of real cheese to make it and the consistency was watery. The smoked chicken wings and chicken gumbo were good items but the ribs were as if they were served from yesterday and not fresh. It was my mother's birthday so she had a bad experience and I promised to make it up to her. I will not come here again."

"My width and I stopped last night after a night. We were hungry and tired, the place was full, they brought us right in. I was completely blown away from Fast Courteous Service, the food quickly came to all tables and appeared exactly. I noticed nobody complained. "We came for the 50 cent wings and $2 beers. We had smoked wings with no sauce because they brought 4 different types of BBQ sauce to choose from, and we also got the Buffalo wings. The smoked wings were the winner. We like our wings cooked HARD these were done completely, but we like a hard skin, so we took them home to finish them off with a little broiler action. We drank PBR for our $2 beer (Bud was the other choice)...kind of fun to go back in time with a pint in hand. We sat on the patio and it was quiet. Since we live in River City, it is only a 10 minute walk. Many specials check it out. The sign says Pork Chop, but it is listed as Chop on Open Table, it seems to me that was the original name when the restaurant opened, it was more steak centered then, so it is hard to find on the Open Table list."

"I wish I had discovered this place sooner! Now that we've finally found Richie's, we order from there once a week. It's the only restaurant where my husband, daughter, and I all agree on our favorites. We've never had a bad meal, and the service is outstanding. During my first visit to pick up an order, a woman recognized me, called me by name, and efficiently guided me to the register to get my order right away. The quality of the food and the service is so exceptional that I highly recommend skipping the chain restaurants and visiting this charming family-run gem instead."

"Yeah, it's nice to eat, but ridiculously overpriced! a 200g steak with two slices of grilled tomato $46! I was hungry after the meal. chips or salat are additional sides. the poke dishes were good, but nothing great. the tables are too close, so there were many beuling when people navigated their way. the acoustics also in the balcony area is the next level, which unfortunately distracts from the creation of ambiente. fibd that they scream louder than the table next to them if they want to chat. if you want to spend a nice evening with friends, where they can actually have a conversation, I suggest they go somewhere else. it was there twice and the experiences were exactly the same. Overall, I would give this a 2 star rating, although the facility and location are 5 stars."

"After reading positive reviews about the food, we decided to visit the restaurant last night. Upon entering, we found a quiet atmosphere with only a few other customers, all of whom were smiling. We were excited to dine there. We were told to sit wherever we wanted and chose a table, but then we waited for service. It was a bit strange that the blonde girl who had seated us remained at the bar without acknowledging us for the duration of our 10-15 minute wait. We tried to get her attention, but she did not seem to notice. Eventually, we gave up and left without trying any of the food. Perhaps next time we will opt for takeout instead."

"My wife and I visited Sturgeon Lake, MN, to meet friends for lunch at Doc's Bar and Grill. They have a reputation for their Bloody Marys, which our friends highly recommended. However, since my wife and I don’t drink, we’ll have to take their word for it. I ordered the Herman the German sandwich, which can best be described as a Philly cheesesteak with sauerkraut and pepper jack cheese, while my wife opted for the fish tacos. Both dishes were enjoyable but not outstanding. The Herman the German was packed with flavor, featuring tender and moist roast beef, along with sautéed onions and green peppers—who doesn’t love those? The sauerkraut added a fresh, tangy bite that complemented the rich, savory sandwich. My wife’s fish tacos were decent, but I found the coleslaw to be a bit too sweet for my taste. One of our friends chose the pepper burger, which looked delicious. The sausage and ground chuck patty was significantly larger than the bun, and it was described as mouthwatering. I’ll definitely order that on my next trip to or from Duluth."

"Let's start walking in the door, they've taken special safety precautions. Taryn was very attentive and did a great job, she took care of us! Anna came out of the kitchen imagined and the owner John Marino had treated us to the most amazing limoncello cheesecake. They made us feel at home! The wings were perfectly crunchy, we had the garlic and Cajun, the James Brown Black and Blue Burger were perfectly cooked and HUGE! My husband couldn't stop it! I had Santana Chicken in a Cajun Alfredo sauce for which I should die. The chicken was tender and the sauce was nice and creamy. The garlic green beans were incredible. I know they're green beans, but so good! We finished our meal with the Limoncello cheesecake and it is a must. Great Sunday brunch. I recommend checking them."
