"We were staying at the JW Marriott and didn't want to leave the property for food so we decided to try their in-house restaurant. We were looking for some bold flavors, so chose Jade for dinner. Unfortunately, it completely disappointed on the flavors. Food was bland and tasteless. The kung pao chicken had no red peppers or vegetables. It was only chicken, peanuts, and some gooey sauce. Spring rolls were crispy and fried well, but the inside stuffing was mushy and flavorless. The sauce that came with the spring rolls tasted like salt. The edamame was good and salted appropriately and was our best dish. Our waitress was the saving grace, being friendly and multitasking. The staff that served the food though just dropped it off and left without explaining what fish was included by the chef in the omakese sashimi plate my husband ordered and they didn't pause to ask if we needed anything. Overall, a really subpar experience in a city filled with good restaurants. It's worth leaving the property to find better food."
