"First ever visit, and ordered takeout. Order was ready in 30 minutes--the same time they said it would be. COVID precautions are well-done, with only one person allowed in the takeout area at a time. That area is barricaded from the dining area where tables are spread out. The menu is a combination of American (including creole-cajun) and Italian, so we decided to order samples from both. The salt vinegar chip coated walleye bites were phenomenal: super-crunchy, flavorful coating around mild fish with a spicy ranch dipping sauce. The eggplant parmesan was crispy and fresh. The sauce was excellent and unique: mildly spicy, zingy sweet tomato, speckled with herbs. The penne was nicely cooked, not al dente as we requested, but still not mushy. We would have liked a tad more cheese, but it was a very tasty entree overall. The dinner salads were quite good--nicely done Italian dressing--and were definitely worth the extra $1 for grated provolone cheese. Service was generally good, but I had to remind the waitress that we had two salads (she initially gave us one). She did apologize a couple times, though. We ordered the tiramisu to finish, which was excellent with intense coffee balanced by plenty of mascarpone cream. An great meal, and we'll definitely be returning to further explore the menu"
