The servings are generous and while not gourmet, they 're filling and satisfy your cravings for BBQ or tacos. They 've also got excellent iced tea and a full condiment bar. This is a great option for a satisfying, yet efficient, breakfast or lunch."

"I found this place because I used to do physical therapy nearby. their taco specials check the marquee) Can’t be beat and they fill it to the brim. Their tortillas are homemade and delicious. I usually get the steak tampiqueño #8) with the enchilada and it’s perfectly cooked it takes me a few meals to finish and it’s delicious. Don’t forget to get a large Jamaica Hibiscus tea) their drinks are so affordable. This picture is of the shrimp fajitas that I purchased during Lent and you can see that I knocked it around because all the shrimps are on one side."

"Im on a liquid diet due to health issues so I was looking for something I could sustain my hunger with. I'm usually picky with menudo because I have had bad experiences in the best. But went ahead and venture off and order. OMG ? was it delicious and met my expectations. My husband order two tacos and those suckers were huge and juicy. He enjoyed them very much. I can say didn't care to much for the chip and salsa. the salsa was a bit water down and the taste was not really appetizing. even with that being said If I am ever in the area, i would stop by again."

"Reading the reviews I thought the food was going to impress. Unfortunately the food was not like many on here have described. The good: the service is super friendly and quick. The bad: the food is flavorless, flour tor I processed flavor (think packed processed flour tortillas). The best part of the puffy tacos was the shell, the ground beef in the tacos wt greasy and under seasoned. The “chilaquiles” were very very untraditional, covered with yellow cheese, dry and flavorless. I would not recommend this place to a friend."

"In general, we enjoyed our first trip to Garcia 's. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and our server accommodated our 'salsa problem ' (basically, we believe salsa should be its own food category, or at least reclassified as a 'soup ' . At any rate, the chips and salsa were constantly refilled for us, but the salsa was just okay. It tastes good, but there is definitely nothing unique about it, and they chose to stay on the conservative side, regarding the amount of spice (unfortunate... we 're in TX! My simple taco plate was great. I really enjoyed it. My wife 's fajita salad, however, was honestly pretty bland. The chicken either needs to marinate longer, or more seasoning needs to be used before it can be called 'fajita ' chicken. Again, great service. Also, great guacamole. Everything else was standard TexMex."

"I have been going to Rocky’s since 1995 , my sister and I go on a regular bases, the last 3 visits have been horrible, tonight was the worst , We order our drinks and then our food, my sisters order was completely wrong and I ordered a simple Picadillo tacos, when I got them the tortillas were super cold and the the meat as well, I asked for avocado and there was an amount the size of a dime, I returned my food because it was completely cold, after waiting 20 minutes for my food 3 tacos I cancelled the order cause I had lost my appetite, my sister did get her food which was lukewarm and her tortilla was very cold and hard. Rocky’s just lost to 2 loyal customers to bad service and cold food not just once but our last 3 visits and some staff can not speak or understand English.What happened to the Rocky’s I would go to ?I asked if the owner would be in the following morning and I was told they didn’t know.The restaurant was dead more tonight than most times I suppose the cold food and bad service has to be to blame. I would not recommend Rockys to friends or family anymore!"

"I arrived just before closing time but received a warm welcome nonetheless. The restaurant was quite busy, and although the staff couldn't seat me immediately, they directed me to a table and assured me they would be right with me. The menu was extensive, and as a first-time visitor, I wasn't quite ready to order when they returned. By the time I placed my order and the food arrived, it was nearly closing time, but no one attempted to rush me. I almost ordered two dishes, as I'm often disappointed by the hype surrounding certain meals, but I'm glad I didn’t. The portion was generous and truly lived up to its promise! "It’s a shame that the old woman who works the counter is so rude because the rest of the staff is great and the food has been good. I live so close that I can see the building from my apartment and yet I will not be returning to this restaurant.The old woman who works the counter is lazy and has a horrible attitude. She will continuously complain if you don’t leave a tip on a $5 take out order. All she does is sit behind the counter and yell your order across the restaurant to the server who’s actually doing the work. If she thinks she should be paid to sit there and look pretty those days are long gone. She pretends to not speak English but will have full conversations with other customers in English then trash talk you in Spanish."

"This 'Decamesa ' Didn 't Disappoint. Got the hungries for a late lunch and a big plate of Tex-Mex? Better get your Speedy Rodriguez on as this place closes at 2:00 pm. The lunch specials are particularly reasonable here as they include tea and it looks like there are usually 2 to choose from. <br/ <br/ Sticking to our Mexican restaurant first time visit test, we ordered the Mexican plate consisting of enchiladas (mandatory for the test), crispy taco, rice and refried beans. We substituted a beef for a cheese enchilada (in order to try them both) for a .50 upcharge. Finely ground beef picadillo meat is the filler for both the crispy taco and the beef enchilada, and a mild yellow cheese for the cheese enchilada. This was a good solidly satisfying plate of San Antonio school lunch gotta-have-it-on-Wednesday Mexican food (native San Antonians will know what I am talking about) and I would have no problem ordering it again. The only thing missing to bounce my synapses back to a school cafeteria memory was a square of baked corn bread. No. That 's not weird. It actually tasted pretty good when dipped in a la charra beans. I guess it was cheaper than tortillas then? <br/ <br/ Keep the substitutions to a minimum such as beef for cheese enchilada, puffy for crispy taco, borracho for refrieds, etc. as the upcharges quickly ratchet up the cost.<br/ <br/ The flour tortillas really put the 'Que Chula! ' in our meal; soft and floppy with an appropriate amount of burned spots that shouted out homemade. Let me at the breakfast tacos . . . they just have to be good using these tortillas!<br/ <br/ Nice little Decamesa (my jargon for a little Mom Pop Tex-Mex shop with only ten tables or so) with barbacoa on the weekends."
