"This is my second visit to this restaurant, and I wasn't impressed during either visit. On my first trip, I ordered a bacon breakfast burrito that was quite bland, though it was still edible. During my second visit, I tried the rolled tacos, which had very little beef. I questioned whether it was 100% beef since it wasn’t shredded and seemed very light. Additionally, the red salsa tasted more like a spicy pizza sauce rather than authentic salsa. Overall, I was not excited about this place. The prices are higher than average, and there’s an extra 50-cent fee for card payments. I believe there are better options for Mexican food elsewhere."

"I have been going here for almost 2 decades and never really had much to complain about. Mostly mediocre stuff but I went late at night yesterday and was sorely disappointed. Firstly, I paid extra for extra meat and was presented with the exact same amount of meat they put on their standard carne asada fries. If that wasn’t bad enough the flavor of their food was the worst carne asada fries I have ever had. I can’t believe they have fallen this far from how they use to be. The only flavor was the oil from the fries. I have called 5 times trying ti speak to a manager and no one seems to ever answer the phone. Will never be going back again."

"The food here is quite good, but the young woman at the front often comes across as rude when handling even the simplest requests (like adding a drink to an order or paying with cash). I understand that working in food service can be challenging and stressful, but that doesn't justify an attitude toward customers who are polite and understanding. "The 37th Burlingame location was AMAZING!!!The Staff, The atmosphere, The ambiance All superb!Placed an order online it was ready before the time stated! I did check the contents found an item wasn't made correctly. The young man running the register pick-up orders had the item corrected without haste. I did ask about the salsa bar how it worked the associate (a Dallas Cowboys Fan); he politely offered suggestions!!Having worked in restaurants, I was glad that I remembered to ask about the drinks on the order. I was pleasently surprised that he wanted them to Not get Watered down, so the were made just before leaving.I was concerned about who received the tip placed on the card that was ordered.They stated the Delivery Drivers actually received it; however, since I actually picked up the order... I did note that the Company Stated the staff so I will have to inquire whether or not the IN STORE??I HOPE they soon have drink carriers something to carry large orders in maybe even automatically put the lettuce condiments on the side to be added so that cold items remain chilled if the tacos, burritos, etc need to be warmed.Ricky M."

"This isn’t the first time I’ve been here. I’ve been a regular here for quite a while and for the past 6 7 years it’s always been consistent for both my wife and I. My wife visits Albertacos once a week for their breakfast burritos. They are her addiction! The generous portion size for $7 of bacon, potatoes, cheese egg make this her preferred breakfast burrito of choice in Colorado Springs. The tortilla is no slouch either and holds up well with all of the fillings. I can easily say this is my favorite place to get tacos. Just LOOK AT THOSE TOPPINGS. Granted I ordered 4 crunchy chicken tacos with no lettuce (just chicken and cheese) and they always overflow the tacos with chicken cheese. This is perfect and their chicken is well seasoned. Another thing that is massively undervalued is that their crunch taco shells DO NOT BREAK. Their taco shells can hold all of that food in tact and don’t break or get soggy. This makes eating tacos way more enjoyable when the shell doesn’t just “break” on the first bite. The carne asada nachos are heavy handed on the carne asada but the cheese could have been a little bit more plentiful. However if I had a choice I would rather have more carne asada than cheese. The carne asada had great taste and texture. The tortilla chips are very good and mimics their hard corn taco shell in taste. I did wasn’t to point out that they always give you tons of salsa (2 different types) with your food which is a nice touch. All of our food was ordered through the drive thru and it survived the short car ride home. The line sometimes takes a little bit, but they always make your order fresh from our years of experience. We’ve NEVER had cold food and they’ve never forgotten an entree. Overall, if you haven’t been to Albertacos, you need to fix that especially if tacos and breakfast burritos are what you’re looking for."

"Stopped by a few nights ago for a quick dinner pick up. Ordered the carnitas burrito, on the menu it says it comes with carnitas, guacamole, cheese pico de gallo. I told the lady when I ordered no pico de gallo but it only came with carnitas nothing else, meat tortilla. A little disappointing. Also ordered the mini carne asada fries. These are usually always good, this time they were a bit greasy. My kiddos enjoy the kids bean cheese burrito. I took a bite it's actually really good and good portions (my 2 kiddos shared). I was also bummed because I told the lady the salsas I wanted and they placed the salsas I didn't ask for instead. Other than those two unfortunate things, the staff is usually always friendly and service is quick."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The food here was absolutely disgusting. I can’t even explain. Both the chimichanga and the burrito were burnt. Didn’t have any topping on it. The enchiladas and red sauce was bitter and tasted almost sour. The beans were like soup and had some sort of oil in it. Absolutely disgusting. We ended up throwing out $50 worth of food. Put it like this…it was so bad that I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. I called the restaurant and spoke to some lady who was rude and said she did a “quality” check of the food before it was sent out and it looked good. Maybe she was blind? See the pics below. That was her “quality” check. Not sure how anyone would send out food like that. She told me I won’t be getting a refund. So I sent Uber eats pics of the whole meal and they fully refunded my entire order and gave me an $15 extra credit towards my next meal. That’s how bad the food looked. Steer clear of this place."

"Well, everyone, you are in for a treat today as I will be giving you a two for. What that means exactly is two reviews in one. A little bit of background, we went here the day before yesterday, and I had the two beef tacos plate with rice and beans, and my girl had the carne asada fries. The day before that, I had the steak egg and cheese burrito and fries delivered. Now, on to the review in question. Yesterday, I was feeling particularly hungry, so I ordered a bean tostada, shredded beef taco, and two rolled tacos. I also ordered a chicken taco and a fish taco to try out. Well, the fish taco and the fish taco were the business. Fry the fish taco asap!!! The beans seem freshly made, which makes the tostada stand out. I previously had the beef taco, and it never disappoints. It may have been a bit much, but it was all so good that I could not stop eating it!!! Today, I decided to go light, and I ordered a green chile burrito and carne asada quesadilla, and they did not disappoint. The pork in the burrito was so thick and chunky and very savory. It was pretty mild to me as far as spiciness goes but very tasty. I prefer my food spicier. The carne asada quesadilla was very good, and I enjoyed it as well. In my life, this is the first place that I have ordered food from four out of the last five days and honestly I feel like a could eat more but I must reign it in a little bit and get back to life, back to reality as one great music group said but I will be back for more and soon!!!"

"I just ordered food for almost $50 and let me tell you this is the worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. The Alberto?s that is by my house is way better. Usually I love carne asada at Alberto?s but not this location. Unfortunately, the meat herewas dry af gross extra chewy and cold. Taking 5 minutes to chew the meat and I can tell the meat was old. On top of that thepaper was stuck on my tortilla. What they trying to do put me in the hospital? Dang first place at being theworst experience I have ever had at a Mexican Restaurant. Gross, dirty, and old. I wish I never ate here and just went home andate cereal. "I searched for surf and turf. Came across a place I used to visit as a kid in the 90s. I am not sure why I never went back as an adult. The pictures do not do the reviews justice. Shrimp is so good. "Wow. i live next door to this place and at first, i didn't realize it was this good- i had the carne asada and i thought it was alright. BUT BUT BUT, I'm all about the carnitas. The carnitas taco was literally the bomb dot com. It was crispy and soft at the same time. It wasn't dry and it was juicy but not too fatty. YOU literally HAVE to try the carnitas in any way shape or form. Also, the micheladas was *mwuah* chefs kiss. The combination of champy and the michelada was just so so good. Definitely have to try this place and you'll be happy you did : I'd say the weekdays are a lot easier and not as long of a line, so try it then :"
