"It was very easy to make a reservation and I was impressed with that. We arrived at the restaurant and we waited for about eight minutes for someone to even acknowledge us. When someone did, I was approached as pointed finger ant me and asked , carry out? I said no. Table for two, reservation. The guy then said she’ll be right with you. we were seated in a very small table in the corner and I asked to be moved and she took us to a small table in the bar which I asked again to be in a little bit bigger table and she allowed us to sit there. we ordered our drink. It was fair , then we ordered our food and we waited almost an hour to get our food. When it arrived, the chicken Parmesan the Chicken was burnt. My crabcake was very dark. I wouldn’t say burnt but almost there the garlic in the spinach and I believe carrots was horrible. It just reeked of garlic. Our waitress did not come back and check on us until I asked her for a water. Before we got our food, she walked by me three times and made eye contact and never gave me an answer as to where our food was. I was very disappointed that it was not that busy. the dining room was full, but the bar area had very few people in it maybe six at the bar and maybe a total of 10 sitting around the bar. This was our first experience here and I can tell you we probably won’t be back. I had to go to the hostess station and ask for a carry out box."

"The food was decent, and the portions were quite generous. However, the corned beef skillet was undercooked and lacked flavor. On the bright side, the pancakes were quite good, although they do not offer real maple syrup. The service was quick and attentive, and I enjoyed a lovely window seat with a view of the street. The decor is a bit outdated, but I found it charming and it gave off a classic diner vibe. While I probably wouldn’t return, it’s a suitable spot for a meal that’s passable and won’t upset your stomach."

"Went there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and everything was amazing! The cheesecake was like heaven on a plate, creamy and light enough to make the perfect dessert, even after a heavy dinner. For breakfast I had their Lumberjck meal, which had 2 griddle cakes that were so fluffy, and came with bacon, sausage, and your choice of home fries or grits (I got the grits). For lunch I had the Reuben sandwich which was packed in with corned beef, but again, so delicious! For dinner I only had the disco fries with the cheesecake. All of it was *chefs kiss*. The staff were super friendly and the restaurant has a Brooklyn theme (as that's where the original location is from) but it made me feel super welcomed and at home. I would absolutely recommend and definitely go again!!"

"First visit here and was very happy with it. Menu was huge...many choices. For a diner, it was was very clean inside. This isnt your typical greasy spoon. Waiter was friendly and the food was very good. I had the Italian Burger with a side of fries. Burger was not a sopping greasy mess but was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. I had a cup of coffee as well. .. waiter brought out a mug of coffee! Even the coffee was tasty...not burnt old jo. Btw the way at the table was a sign advertising bottles of wine at prices that you usually don't see in a restaurant. This place has been here a long time, wish I had come here sooner! As an afterthought.. If the chefs there read this.. add some hot pickled cherry peppers to that Italian Burger for a real winning alternative."

"My recent visit to Roggies for lunch on a Sunday was a pleasant experience. With only four people in the restaurant, the service was excellent. Located near Boston College, Roggies is a sports bar so we didn't have high expectations for a fine dining experience, but we were not disappointed. While the appetizer platter was bland, the Lobster Roll and Pastrami Burger entrees were surprisingly tasty. The breakfast entrees also looked appealing. It's worth noting that Roggies is a college bar with a slight stale beer odor and unstable chairs, so it may not be ideal for a family outing. However, their pizza takeaway option is delicious and worth considering."

"Our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. They did not honor our reservation due to a private event, which they should have informed us about beforehand. Although they apologized, it seemed insincere. They suggested we go to another location, which was not convenient for us. They made no effort to compensate us in any way, such as offering a coupon for our next visit. It was clear that they did not value our business. We will not be returning."

"My friend has been insisting I try the cheesecake here, so I wanted to come and have the full experience. I saw the Russian dressing praised in other reviews and decided I needed to try it, so I had the corned beef and pastrami combo. Honestly, I didn't taste a difference between the two. I've definitely had better versions of both. The Russian dressing was good, but it was much thicker and less sweet than I am used to! I tried the devil's food cheesecake and concluded that I still don't like the flavor of cheesecake, but the consistency was good. It broke apart on the fork easily. The best thing was the oreo milkshake. It was perfect."

"My table was ready when I arrived and in a quiet part of the restaurant as requested for which I was very grateful. My guest arrived a bit late due to Santana Row closing garages due to Christmas shoppers however was promptly seated as the restaurant was packed solid at 8:00PM. Larry, our waiter, made outstanding suggestions for menu selections and we were over the moon with the dishes we were served! In fact, my guest who was a former United States Treasurer said she would come back again the food was so great. Dessert took quite a while to arrive at our table, however, given the Christmas season,shoppers and that the restaurant was packed we were still exceptionally pleased with our dining experience!"

"555! What a satisfactory experience. My family and I came here on a whim for brunch and when I say this is the best diner I've ever been to, I sincerely 100% mean it with happy dance and all! I'm born and raised in New York honey and there isn't anything in this city compared to this slice of heaven! Firstly, the coffee was fresh af— nicely brewed and no grounds at the end of the mug, my meal came with a free glass of fresh oj! I don't even like pulp but there something so pleasantly refreshing about it. Prices are VERY fair for the portions you get and even enjoyed every last bite of the left overs later on that day! I say you MUST come here. Unlike other diners their menu is not overwhelming. Ambiance is nice and clean, personable staff, and you're definitely bound to leave with a happy tummy!"

"Looking at the other various reviews for this fine establishment, I can personally tell you that the staff of Andy’s Deli NYC is misunderstood. All you have to do is be competent and know what you want to order and not be a complete peanut brain. It is a shame that these troglodytes are giving out 1 star reviews for a quality, affordable place of business. They are the most efficient deli in the area and they provide GOOD QUALITY FOOD. These people come on here to project their own insecurities at hard working people. Highly recommend this place of business. "What an awesome place. Got there super early on a Sunday for breakfast and had no problem parking right across the street. Beautiful retro diner. Seating is mainly booths with some counter and a few tables. So it is size friendly if you can get a table. The staff was friendly and attentive. Service was quick! The food came out fast and hot. Smoked brisket hash was good, not too smoky. I ordered well done home fries and they were actually crispy and well done. (Not every place listens like that... The biscuits and gravy were some of the best I've had in recent memory. Do not miss those. All in all, a great find. Will be going back because there are so many things we want to try. My advice is get there early as the place fills up fast..."

"I have been coming here for years but have not been back in a while. We recently went there the past couple Saturdays and had an excellent lunch. It is an old-school Delicatessen with all the great options including a tray of pickles on the table, bread and bagel chips. The food is great, the service is great and I love the atmosphere. Make sure to try their daily selection of soups, as on Saturdays, their potato soup is amazing. The only downside to our meal was they currently do not carry red horseradish for the gefilte fish, only the white, so I ordered something else. Please bring the red horseradish back. Will definitely be coming here more frequently."

"Ordered the spinach and ricotta omelet platter on grubhub, The menu says it comes with potatoes and toast. Only the omelet arrives. I call the location. They tell me that unless I specify I want potatoes and toast, they assume I don't want it. But it comes with the meal according to the menu. So I have to say I want the thing I've ordered after I've ordered it? Usually I have a pleasant experience here but this was really unacceptable"

"This place is very unprofessional worse experience at a pizza shop ever in my life … all because they got my order wrong , the owner was cursing at me and the clerks keep hanging up the phone….. this place is sad and all definitely be out of business soon… and the delivery drivers barely speak English … and on top of tht there’s alot of illegal activity going on behind the counter …they will be hearing from L&I and my lawyer real soon … definitely wouldn’t recommend this place if they were the last pizza shop on earth …. "They have a great selection of drinks and various cream cheeses available for purchase, as well as a variety of hot and cold sandwiches for lunch. I have always been completely satisfied after stopping in—the food and bagels are consistently tasty, and the prices are fair and reasonable. The service is fast and friendly. Keep in mind that they do sell out quickly and close early, so the best selection is in the morning. It's absolutely worth the trip, and you won't find a better place for bagels. Excellent work!"

"Wow! Great experience, for a diner/cafe. Here for work and have walked by this place a few times to only dream to try. Last night was it. During the busy time of the year in NYC. Family left, eating alone: service amazing, welcoming, and shared love to all single eaters. I tried it all, took red velvet home. Amazing place and would love to try breakfast one day. "We visited ON THE SQUARE for Wednesday Sushi night. We had a wonderful family girls’ night out. They went out of the way to please we highly recommend the Crab-At-It-Roll, our favorite every time.
