"This quaint little Cantonese bakery really brings back memories. We tried the taro pastry, which is similar to a wife cake but with taro filling, and a custard bun. While both were a bit dry, we still found them enjoyable. The custard bun reminded me of a char-siu bun but with a hint of custard inside; it’s definitely not the same as what you’d find at a larger bakery like 85C, but it fulfilled a unique craving. It doesn’t need to be exceptional, just good. The whipped cream, custards, and rich milk bread really take me back to happier days, haha. I appreciate that places like this still exist and look forward to returning to try the cake everyone is raving about."
