"My friends and I love Holy Basil Pho. Every time that we've been the place has been increasingly crowded, but nonetheless I wouldn't be surprised if a reservation is unnecessary. The food is delicious, our favorites include the basil lime wings and the garlic noodles with five spice pork. The portions are huge and you can easily split the dishes between 2 or 3 people. The servers/hosts are always courteous, although if it is a busy night you might have to flag down your waiter to get the bill. Regardless, due to the service, ambiance, food quality and portion sizes we have always ended up staying longer than we intended. With a doubt, Holy Basil Pho is our new favorite restaurant in the bay area, and it's a shame that on some nights it's practically empty."

"Honestly I don?t know why this place has a 3.7 star standing right now. I mean everything was amazing service, ambiance, the price and most important, the taste! My family and I are quite picky eaters so I do a lot of research and read reviews before I choose a location. Yesterday was just of those chances I took based on pictures and we do not regret going. We had an amazing time just walking around the building and having dinner at 12 moons. Here?s what we ordered. picked cucumber salad firecracker shrimp (spicy one) lemongrass chicken wings 12 moons fried rice (small portion) beef mongolian (small portion) chow mein (small portion) triple layer cake mochi *the small portions are fairly large so it was plenty for us. We were three people. Also the taro chips they bring as a complimentary starter were amazing. Tasted very fresh and the flavour was very unique! Hope you all enjoy as much as we did!"

"We got there at 9, our reservation was for 9:30, they sat us immediately. Food came within 10 minutes of ordering, it was beyond amazing, drinks were amazing, service was amazing, honestly just an overall amazing experience. We were out by 9:38, literally 38 minute dining experience, I don’t think Ive ever eaten at such a high end place and it went as smooth and fast as this. Highly recommend!"

"It has been opened for 5 years, in my neighborhood that I wasn't aware of.. the reason is that when I go to work, on 63rd/Roosevelt Ave, I walk east, so any stores on the west I had been paying much attention. I notice it today, because I was standing on the west, while waiting for a bus. I get to try the restaurant today, the friendly staffs, the food, and the atmosphere, make me want to come again."

"Unfortunately, I wanted to love this place but I was very disappointed. Ordered the pork fried rice that had very good reviews but it lacked flavor and honestly didn't taste very fresh. We got the bulgogi pot stickers with such high hopes for that Korean bulgogi taste but it honestly didn't taste like much at all. The freshest and best tasting items we got were the ginger and scallion fried rice and the scallion pancake, they were done to order and you can really taste the scallions. That is the only item I would recommend, thankfully we did not try any of the other items that had bad reviews because now I am afraid that the bad reviews might have been very accurate. The inside is very quaint and cozy, only two tables so not much room to eat in, another downfall which is why I could see most of their clients were picking up. We were given to go containers even though we had asked to eat in, in the end we were a little uncomfortable and decided to take our food home. Sadly I cannot recommend with much enthusiasm, but you can try yourself and see what you think. I could tell the servers/workers were inexperienced although they were nice and friendly, need a lot of improvement."

"I was hanging out with my teen grandson. After researching restaurants in the area, I decided he might like Dope. He'd been there with his parents several times, so it was the right choice. They have an extensive menu, but my grandson knew what he wanted, so I decided to order what he ordered: a bowl with rice veggies, and spicy cubes of tofu. (He ate with chopsticks. I used a fork and spoon. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Loved the spicy tofu! The serving was generous, too much to eat for me, but just about right for a growing teen. "The place itself is very nice, pretty, and clean. When I went, there was no one there, so it was rather quiet. The staff are friendly, and they were very helpful. As for the baos, I tried the lava bao (fully black) and the choco milk bao (brown). I wouldn't really come back since the baos didn't really appeal much to me (and were $4.50 each), but I would love to try their other flavors if I come back.Ratings:Lava bao (4/10) the exterior was crispy and the interior has the exact texture as the egg custard from an egg tart (slightly firmer). The outside really had no flavor, and the inside had the slightest egg taste. I have no other comment than this honestly; just lackluster. Not sweet though if you're into this bao!Choco milk bao (6/10) I definitely enjoyed this one more with the chocolate/Nutella sauce on the outside. The bao was still crispy, and the inside was more fragrant compared to the lava bao. The inside was the exact flavor as the egg tart egg custard."

"Overall, this was a solid restaurant, conveniently located in downtown Nyack adjacent to the village municipal parking lot. The menu is pretty authentic but also includes many Asian fusion dishes. In general, the dishes felt like a hit or miss. "I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at Dumpling Haus, a place I had high expectations for. Initially, I placed an order totaling $31 and added a $4 tip for my takeout. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill from there. After paying with my credit card, I was told there was a network issue that prevented the transaction from going through. They gave me a number for my order and assured me it would be sorted out quickly, leading me to believe my food was being prepared. Twenty-five minutes later, after watching five different employees struggle with the payment system and repeatedly trying to scan my card, I still had not received my food. Their solution? They suggested I order online and make the payment again so they could process my order. Seriously? As if I had the time or patience for yet another complicated process. Ultimately, I left without my meal and with no intention of returning. While Dumpling Haus may be known for their dumplings, they seem to excel at wasting time and providing terrible customer service. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere."

"The depth of flavor and variety in the huitsaa soup at this restaurant is out of this world. Served in a hot stone pot, the soup has a fantastic aroma and is filled with perfectly cooked vegetables, meatballs, and cellophane noodles. It includes tender carrots, flavorful meatballs, and a mix of fatty and lean pork and beef cuts, as well as root vegetables like carrots and radishes that soak up all the flavors of the soup. The fried bread served with it is crispy and fluffy, making for a perfect pairing. The meal is accompanied by warm, traditional hospitality. I can't wait to try more items from their menu! I also tried their slimy dish later on and highly recommend it."
