"We had a wonderful time here ! We had drinks at the bar with an amazing bartender one of the best around ! Dinner was phenomenal the beet salad was delicious and the dover sole was phenomenal!! Let’s also say the bread pudding was the best we ever had ! Our server, Jamie, was outstanding! Thank You Chris for having an exceptional restaurant !"

"I went with my friend … two women. It was early Saturday evening 5:15. The restaurant was not busy. The food was good but costly. I had a ribeye steak … cooked to perfect temp … a tad salty and a tad greasy. But good. (Shoestring type fries …way too greasy … I ate only a couple. We had squash flowers stuffed with crabmeat for appetizer…absolutely delicious! And fabulous flourless peanut butter chocolate cake for dessert. We sat looking out at the lake. The bar has nice ambience too with fireplace and the lighting is nice. The servers were very sweet, but they seemed really nervous…like they were afraid they might make a mistake. They seemed to be under a lot of pressure. My complaint is with the waiter. He was pushy and rude. He cut me off when I asked him about a wine recommendation. I had to ask him to let me finish my sentence . When we said we would like to start with an appetizer and decide about our entree later, he said we couldn’t do that … that we would have to order our entree and appetizer at the same time. He was ridiculously rude. I tipped him accordingly. I gave the bulk of what would have been his tip to the servers because they were so sweet. Restaurant has a large parking lot and it would be very easy for the cars to park themselves, but it’s valet parking only. Really silly. It’s a nice place, but I came away thinking get over yourself … trying too hard to be classy which makes it not so classy."

"To be fair we were exhausted. We had just landed from long flight from UK. So we just wanted some thing hot before we crashed in hotel next door. Had to ask for waiter to come get our order.. soup sent back was Luke warm… if that. Calamari also Luke warm and served with ice cold dipping sauces. Had to ask for water refill and then waiter took glasses from table and brought them back. Not sure I got my glass and my sister had a really bad cold. Asked for bread. Two pieces of cold focaccia bread sat on our table no butter or olive oil, salt or pepper on table to make dipping sauce. Asked for olive oil. And it came when we were ready to leave. Still no pepper or salt. And the house soup had absolutely no flavor. Will not go there again. Very disappointed"

"I had dinner there with my family after receiving rave reviews of the restaurant. Our server was very nice, but marginally incompetent. He didn't know many details about the menu when asked for details. One of the starters was served without any of the 3 ingredients (olives with canned citrus and fried parsley - served without the fried parsley - not the waiter's fault). The waiter presented the special as an appetizer, but it was actually an appetizer. My main course (or should I say "starter") was served about 5 minutes after the rest of my table had already served their main courses. I was able to order another main course when it was clear that I had ordered an appetizer, but by then the rest of the table was done with the main course. The rest of the people at my table enjoyed the food and the beers were delicious, but overall my experience was not great."

"I can't say enough about our experience. We were greeted by our wonderful hostess who took us to the perfect table with a perfect peaceful view of the ocean. Our server, Chris and his assistant gave us 5 star service. Chris’ knowledge of the menu was outstanding, and he gave us stellar recommendations. We enjoyed every bite of the filet mignon and iberico creation. The chef has culinary expertise. Our special dessert was unique. We had a fabulous time and every attention to detail was appreciated. "Not sure what happened here. I've been often great service and fish. Now they have a terrribel waitress who doesn't speak any English, a waiter who doesn't know the menu. They didn't give me the salad with my bento box. Had to ask for soy sauce. Fish quality was good but the service put me off. Not sure I'll be back. Too bad this was a fave of mine. Still can't believe I paid and tipped on that terrible service. I even pointed out that bento boxes come with salad as shown in the menu and he still didn't bring me one!!! The waitress knows so little English she disunion the word soda."

"Although the food was good I just cannot get over the fact that the service was so incredibly poor. Things took a very long time to get to the table including the dessert which was just a slice of cake (how long could that take We were waiting for so long for things like water or our entrees that by the time we ordered dessert we figured it would be best to order it together w the check as to avoid further delays. We understood there was a large party at the same time as us but that does not explain how other tables that came in after us left much faster than us which had us thinking our server liked us so much she wanted us to close the restaurant with her. The manager did come to apologize for the delays at one point but that only seemed to slow things down further as any course after said check in took much longer ð¤·ð»ââï¸ beyond my understanding reallyâ¦â¦also oddly enough the pictures on the website really do not much the real life thingâ¦..figured i mentioned because they are quite different"

"Hendricks Tavern is a hidden gem located in the heart of Roslyn. The service, from the valet attendants to the wait staff, was excellent and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The ambiance is warm, laid back, and relaxing. My wife had been wanting to try Hendricks Tavern for a while, so we decided to celebrate her birthday there. We made a reservation for outdoor seating and were accommodated without any issues. The food was superb! We enjoyed zucchini and eggplant chips, fried calamari, and a pizza as appetizers, all of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had Tavern BBQ Ribs and a 30oz Tomahawk Rib Eye steak, which we shared. The sides of creamed spinach, sautéed mushrooms, and hash browns were tasty, although the hash browns were a bit crunchy. Our desserts, carrot cake and homemade apple crisp, were also fantastic. The wait staff even sang happy birthday to my wife when they brought out her dessert, which was a nice touch. Overall, we had a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent service, and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Thank you to everyone at Hendricks Tavern for making my wife's birthday dinner special and memorable."

"I’ve been eating at Original Joes for more years then I would like to admit and never had an issue, except for my last visit. My friend and I decided to each order the Eggs Benedict. When the dish’s arrived all we could see were overcooked somewhat burnt potato’s which seemed to have been reintroduced to the grill a few times to warm up. The English muffin was as delicate as a hockey puck, and should have used a steak knife to cut into it. Then there was an “essence” of Béarnaise sauce enough to give the plate the identity of eggs benedict. I will return but not for brunch, at least not for the eggs Benedict. Our server was super great!!"

"Much different than I remember. The hostess greeted us in jeans, and a long sleeve tee shirt. Her personality was outstanding but was hard getting over her appearance. The restaurant had a septic smell that got worse the closer to the back of the house you got. Calamari was tough, small bowl of rigatoni was $33. I don’t know if it has changed hands, but things seam to be slipping. Has been our go to for Bushnell nights for over 30 years."

"This is my second time here. I came back after having the truffle pasta. It was so good I had to try more items on the menu. This time I got the swordfish carpaccio, the pasta alla carbonara and then the tiramisu for dessert. I had a chianti to drink. Overall fantastic. The swordfish: some bites were a little fishy, but most were not. Heated slices of fish and still a little rare. Flavors were delicate and delightful. Would get again. Pasta again was divine. Perfectly cooked pasta with the perfect bite and chew. I loved the guanciale in place of pancetta. Sooo much better. And no peas. I much prefer it this way! I overheard someone at the next table who had ordered the dish say the pepper was too much for her. I completely disagree with her. Pepper is one of the main ingredients in this dish and therefore should stand out. I don't love pepper and I thought the seasoning was en pointe. Tiramisu was heavenly. Can't go wrong with carbs and cream. I had the same waiter as last time. I love him. Very pleasant and attentive. The place is busy but staff is always available to assist"

"This is one of the best Italian restaurants I've visited, including NYC and those in Italy! Now I know why it is considered the best in SWFL. I would have rated it 6? if my wife or I could have had our favorite dishes; specifically, Chicken Cacciatore and Pasta Carbonara. We got our second favorites Penne alla Vodka and their Spaghetti Al Brendy and they were excellent. Lastly the wait staff was fun and attentive (but not hovering). All in all 150% of what I was hoping for! Mille grazie"

"The atmosphere was like a supper club, many bottles of wine, spirits, and photos, on the walls. Looked and felt up scale. The bar area was small but had multiple high top tables they were adequate, and views of the kitchen. Happy hour options on appetizers and drinks. The bartender was great. Menu: plenty of options but pricey. The quality of my 16oz ribeye was mediocre at best. For $72 it was not worth the price, add mushrooms and onions for $6 and you have a $78 over priced steak… I’m not apposed to spending and having a good meal, but I was disappointed. Would I come back? It would be hard given there are other steaks restaurants available in the area that are as good if not better than Kaminski’s. The staff was good but the the food is pricey and average."

"Absolutely loved the food! Went with my husband to celebrate our anniversary and was not disappointed. The staff congratulated us when seated as well as when waiting on us! The gazpacho was unique and loved the flavor! The boulabasse was a large portion with a fantastic taste. The creme brûlée was very flavorful and I have tried many in past. Great unique cocktails and lots of whine to chose from. I would highly recommend dining at Watermark!!!! We actually were there the last evening open at that location. Appears they are telocating to the new Bridgestone building in December. I know if I am visiting Nashville , I will definitely go to the new location. It was a wonderful experience!!! Thanks for helping us celebrate out 21st!!!!"

"On Swann is a MUST. Everything about this place is amazing. From the service, to the food. We had a fantastic experience and our server was beyond exceptional. There was so much flavor in the sandwiches we ordered, a combination of sweet and salty. We were very impressed with the food! For an upscale restaurant, the prices were very reasonable too. We ordered the BLT with avo fried egg, grilled cheese with a side of tomato soup. Non alcoholic Blueberry Vanilla and Strawberry Mint sodas. We went on Wednesday morning and there was no reservation required nor the restaurant was busy. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant! On Swann is definitely a place we will stop by when we are in town."
