"My God! This must be the best hot pot experience I've ever had. We went on a Thursday afternoon and had no waiting time and there were lunch prices that make it an even better floor. Our server was the sweetest and so helpful! The vegetables, seafood, noodles, dumplings and sauce bar were all served themselves and everything you can eat. We had the tomato broth and the original marrow and they were rich and full of taste. We did the premium package, which was really amazing for the price. The ribeye was so tender and pig bell was also delicious. You even have Dessert! The soft portion was rich and creamy and a perfect way to finish the meal!"

"I had been turned off by a few people because I LOVE prime rib. I had just heard great things about the restaurant. Unfortunately the whole experience was disappointing for us. We had reserved at the open table and requested a stand. When we got there the hostess did not confirm our reservation when we told her we booked them online and still got us to a table. She was our waitress and was pretty good. The drinks were well made but small for the price. We ordered the prime rib. I got the girls cut and my husband got the kings cut which is about a $ 20 price difference. When they came out, they were exactly the smaller portion I ordered in length and thickness. We ordered medium rarity (which is what it came up with), but it had no flavor and was extremely tough. If there's one thing I love almost as much as prime rib, it's ranch dressing. It was chunky and tasted terrible. (and no, it wasn't blue cheese) To get our USD 100 bill at the end of our meal, we were both utterly disappointed with the entire meal. The quality did not reflect the cost."

"Every time! Probably one of the best and consistent w her good, high-quality seafood restaurant in Houston. Service is great, they are nice, attentive, but not overwhelming. We splashed the 9 lbs king crabs today and got 4-5 dishes from the crab. Excellence on every plate. My Fav is the steamw garlic sauce and the salted egg crab. But also other dishes are great. Will not be disappointed if you don't try."

"Really like the lunch menu options and flavors of everything we had. Burger, shrimp tacos, tuna tacos, pizza (a little too cheesy), different salads, We sat in the restaurant rather than poolside. Service was great. Note the dinner menu is different from lunch….we didn’t like it nearly as much as the lunch menu."

"This place was incredible. Everyone was so friendly immediately upon entering and kept checking in to see how we liked everything. Me and my wife got the maza sampler, two lamb kebabs and a gyro platter. Every bite was better than the last. The hummus, pita, and gyro were easily the best that I have ever had. It was my first time trying Baba Ganoush and grape leaves and it ruined any other restaurants because I don’t think anywhere will be able to compete with this places. We ended our meal with an order of baklava and a frozen chaippuccino and it was the perfect capstone, any time that we are back in the area we will for sure be stopping again!"

"We recently relocated to Ohio and I cannot remember the last time I had a great kebab. This restaurant is amazing! The food is incredibly delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I felt like I had walked into their kitchen for my meal. They have gained three loyal customers! In terms of kid-friendliness, they were super accommodating to my energetic 3-year-old and interacted with him well. This made this mom very happy! Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Wrap and Kebab dishes. There is plenty of parking available, and it is all free."

"Illegal Pete’s trumps almost all other make-before your eyes burrito joints like Chipotle or Q’doba… there is simply no comparison. An Illegal Pete’s burrito is truly a thing of beauty. They are huge and roughly the size of a small Nerf football (share with a friend if you’re not up to having a food coma back at the office but they’re packed with tasty fresh ingredients which are thoroughly MIXED so that you get a bite of each tasty flavor without a glut of rice or a wad of guacamole in one end but not in the middle… (hate that! The Big Potato Burrito (as the comments suggest! is to die for. I opt for it without sour cream and with light cheese but it is great with the sauteed red peppers and squash, black or pinto beans and the yummy, infamous potatoes. The iced tea is very good and they always serve fresh lemon slices."

"The restaurant space is beautiful. Staff very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious and well above average. Great wine selection. Bread was fantastic. The only thing that gives me pause, and perhaps it is because it is located on the fringes of University Circle, is that for most of our meal, we were the only patrons. When we left, there was only two other tables. This was on a day at a time when virtually any similar restaurant would have been packed. Perhaps it just needs more exposure."

During the meal, they come by to refill your soup base with clear broth, which I highly recommend. The pork bone broth is particularly delightful—it's clear, fresh, and packed with flavor. I also enjoy their self-service sauce station, where you can mix and match to create your own sauces. We ordered two sets of soup bases and a generous array of meats and vegetables, totaling around $70 for two people, including a tip. Overall, this restaurant is fantastic, providing great service, ample portions, and reasonable prices. I would happily return every week!"
