"This place is a mix of a hibachi grill and a sushi bar. My review focuses solely on the sushi side, which has consistently provided an amazing experience each time I've visited. I promise I’ll try the hibachi side… next time. When we arrived, it was quite busy, mostly with families enjoying the hibachi. The hostess, who also served us, was juggling her duties with a delightful smile, which was evident even behind her mask. After browsing several menus and debating whether to order more, a gentleman came by with our drinks—Nigori and Sapporo—let the party begin! I think we were the most animated table there, but honestly, the atmosphere is nice even without our lively presence. We shared laughs with the staff, and when our house salads arrived, we brought some much-appreciated silence to the other diners as we chewed with gusto. Next time, I’ll definitely order two salads for myself. Our appetizers featured the Monkey Ball, an absolute favorite of mine—so good! We also tried fried Gyoza, chicken yakitori, and shrimp yakitori. All were fantastic—pro tip: don’t ignore the sauce that drips off the yakitori on your plate! For our main sushi, we ordered the Sunset roll, which was decent but a bit plain. However, the Texas Ranger Roll really stole the show—knocked it out of the park! It had just the right amount of spice and a ton of flavor. It was a wonderful dining experience, made even better when our server treated us to a farewell shot of Nigori, which reinforced my admiration for her. Every visit to Masu is a great time. UPDATE: On a return visit today, everything was just as amazing as always. We ordered the Sunset roll again, and this time it had a good kick and was much tastier than before. We also tried the Paradise roll, which paired wonderfully with the Sunset roll—a true flavor explosion! The nice heat from the Sunset roll was excellently complemented by the Paradise roll."

"GINZA IS BACK, even BETTER than before at their previous location at the Wintonbury strip mall. The location is PERFECT and once you 've experienced the new location and all it has to offer, like us, you 'll realize it was essential to move from the former location. It 's a HUGE revitalization and breathes new life into their genius. We 've gone twice already. Once for takeout (shrimp shumai and 2 sushi rolls . Shrimp shumai was even better than we remembered. For the roll, I wasn 't quite sure how I felt about the cucumber still having the the outer skin on it and being part of the roll. One of us liked it the other was not yet sure. The service was excellent when we went to order for takeout. They said 10 minutes and it was ready in a little less. Completely reasonably priced for 2 rolls and an appetizer. Also went again 2 days ago in the evening after 7. Once again, ambiance, service and food were exceptional. We had the seasoned edamame (which you 'd think other places could do well BUT DON 'T!, only Ginza does! , the pumpkin appetizer (that were like donuts, as well as the fried gyoza. For the latter, there wasnt enough sauce, but we made do. For our main course, one of us had the eggplant stir fry with vegetable fried rice. The eggplant was ASTONISHING. A little crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. The rice was a little bland, but coupled with the eggplant paired well. The others in the party had sushi and there were many happy sounds of 'Mmmmm ' as though we 'd been reunited with a good friend who 'd gone away for a little while. Note: they no longer have the hibachi areas (which were no great loss for us. They do still have hibachi on the menu though. Their private room is sizeable and very inviting. It may be able to hold at least 20 people or more. Added pics I took of the establishment. The bar area is STELLAR and a HUGE upgrade from the former location. All in all a classy dining experience with THE BEST SUSHI, ever! Welcome back Ginza!
