"Yeah…I know…a 5 out of 5. But nostalgia and taste really do align with locals when it comes to Woody’s. If you grew up in the outer Lansing area in the Aughts…it was our first taste of hummus before weight watchers deemed it the healthiest pairing to 0 point options (no dig, it’s true! Point being…in my 30 years, Lansing has opened its doors to an incredible tapestry of culinary endeavors I’ve been fortunate enough to witness and taste. I can only hope this is a sign that our community is opening not just its palette…but it’s mind. I was forutunate enough to be reminded of what an impression Woody’s made on me when I lived in said “Lansing bubble” where Taco Bell was my first introduction to eating Al fresco. Thank you Marie for reminding me of what an impression and trailblazer woodys has been in my life and our community!… …and for the extra piece of namoura."

"Wow! When I walked in, I was immediately impressed by how clean and beautiful the interior was. I received a warm welcome from the gentleman at the counter—who, unfortunately, I didn't catch the name of—who assisted me in selecting my meal. Right now, I'm thoroughly enjoying some truly AMAZING food! I ordered the lamb gyro platter with a hummus appetizer and rosewater iced tea, and they even surprised me with a complimentary piece of baklava! Every single bite has me saying, "Mmm!" It's fresh, tender, and perfectly seasoned. I can't wait to come back. This place is absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much, everyone! Delicious!"

"I wanna start saying that my husband and I we have our Mediterranean spot but we're always open to new options. So yesterday, was one of those time you're craving something so so bad that I guess we can't just wait to have it and it was a total disappointment.... When we arrived at the place we saw two couples of costumers, we went ahead and place an order on the outside screen. Now let's talk about the menu. It's so limited!! There's nothing like a mix of chicken or beef kabobs, it's either or, there's only one salad they don't offer tabule salad and it's one of my favorites I was hoping to get it). Once we placed the order after 20 min I stared looking around and the couples before us they still waiting. After 5 min later a lady comes out and tells us it's gonna take 20 minutes the good side of it it's fresh made) when we got our order nasty Garlic Fries there's no garlic at all on it, and the cheapest brand of frozen fries were so disappointing) and we got a Chicken kabob yes it has warm but no flavor on the Chicken, rice no flavor, the salad also no flavor the humus was ok but a stingy portion A TOTAL DISAPPOINTMENT as well! In resume no thank you and the cherry on the cake was the lady was looking at me weird. We'll stick to our to go place. -Food it's not tasty at all, over priced and small portions. -Wait time it's over an hour. -Good music"

"I was in the mood for roasted half chicken and chose Mediterranean cuisine as my option. I found this place nearby with outdoor seating (pet-friendly) and a parking lot. It met all my criteria for the day, as I could bring my chihuahua along. I ordered the 1/2 Greek style chicken ($15) and the House Specialty Greek style chicken ($15), which were essentially the same except for the side options. I chose the former with rice. Additionally, I ordered dolmadakia ($8), hummus ($7) with pita, and a chicken and beef kabob combo with added lamb. Each dish was generously portioned, and the chicken was particularly moist and delicious. The dolmadakia was truly one of the best I've had, especially when paired with the lemon juice."

"I ordered 2 buffalo wing platters and garlic bread from them and they just gave me wings with no fries and waited an hour and it came up to $26 I gave $30 so driver can keep change and when I called to tell them I didn't get my fries all they could say was I can give u credit for next time which it won't be a next time or i can send him back with the fries cause they are busy..so I said he can bring back my money but noooo we have to wait for fries to eat with our wings...im not even hungry anymore...never again"

"Clean, bright, fresh, inexpensive, satisfying, a blessing to have in the neighborhood! Their sub sandwiches are generous in portion and low in price. They have a lot of great things in there besides food. Very convenient, easy, friendly.It is rare to get the amount of fresh food for their prices in this area. I'll never go to jersey Mike's again. Shebamz are better, fresher, more meat and less than half the price."

"I was pleasantly surprised to discover this Mediterranean restaurant in Center City. It's just a quick six-minute walk from Suburban Station. We shared Aya’s taster as an appetizer for four people, which included four different types of hummus, falafel, tzatziki, waraq enab, kalamata olives, and baba ghanoush, along with plenty of pita bread. We really enjoyed it! For my lunch entrée, I tried the Seared Almond Crusted Salmon, and it was delicious! They also serve the best French fries I've ever had (no kidding). The service was excellent; everyone was taken care of very well."

"I couldn't help but laugh when I saw someone else go to this restaurant because of the Avengers movie. It was my first time trying shawarma, and the food was excellent. The falafel was amazing, the grape leaves were filled perfectly, the hummus was tasty, and the shawarma platters were incredibly good. (I had to leave before trying the fried cauliflower, but I heard it was great). The restaurant itself wasn't anything special to look at, just a casual spot for a midday meal. The service was great and overall, it was an excellent experience. I will definitely be a regular customer in the future."

"Yeeaaah try other places. I have never had a gyro where you had more pita than you did meat…everytime I order a gyro sandwich from other places I have meat left over for later....not at Makers on Lee drive. Not enough gyro meat and I could understand paying 10 bucks for a gyro if the meat was 100% lamb…but they are giving you a beef and lamb mixture. That sandwich I ordered should have been no more than 6 bucks honestly....very skimpy. You can get more meat from Serops"

"This is an incredible family-owned restaurant that will definitely be our go-to for Middle Eastern cuisine. We had a fantastic experience! I’ve seen some comments about high prices, but our bill for four people was $90, and we even left with extra food. Beyond that, the quality of the dishes is exceptional, and I understand that quality ingredients can be costly. If you visit Byblos, you'll receive a large amount of food, but much of it isn't great, and you miss out on the warm, family-run atmosphere here. The prices are reasonable considering the amazing quality of the food. Highly recommend!"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time and was impressed by how clean it was, including the restrooms, which I always appreciate. I decided to try the spicy gyro with fries, and although it was slightly smaller than I expected, it was incredibly delicious. I've had many gyros before, but this was my first spicy one, thanks to the suggestion from the person taking my order. I was still feeling hungry afterward, so I ordered some wings, which were also quite tasty. The service was friendly and professional, making for a great experience overall.
