"Upon entering, we waited about five minutes before anyone acknowledged us and seated us. While the food arrived quickly, it was disorganized; our main courses came out before our appetizers, and my meal was served a good 6-7 minutes ahead of my partner's. Not ideal.
As for the food itself, my partner found the dim sum disappointing but enjoyed the sushi. I ordered the Mongolian BBQ beef sizzling plate, which was so salty that it was nearly inedible. It tasted as if they had taken pure sodium soy sauce, added MSG, more salt, garlic, and ginger, and called it a marinade.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the rice. It’s really not that difficult to prepare decent rice with a good rice cooker and a bit of care. What I received was crusty, dry rice, as if it had been left in the cooker on the warm setting for four hours, losing all its moisture.
A Chinese restaurant that can’t even get rice right is a major letdown. Save your money and look elsewhere for a better dining experience."
