"We really enjoyed our meals! The service was great and the food was good too. The server and cook happily did a special request. We had the Chicken Terriyaki and Gyoza with spicy fried rice, Beef Bul go ki with green salad and fried rice, and Omelet with hashbrowns. We also had the soft drinks which were average for Pepsi products. The Green Salad is basic but tasty. The Fried Rice was ok, the spicy fried rice was tastier. The Chicken Terriyaki was delicious and very filling, it looked like 2 chicken breasts worth of food. The Gyoza were basic but good. The Omelet substitution with Philly Cheesesteak meat and vegetables wasn't as flavorful as we were expecting. The Hashbrowns were average but a nice level of crispy most restaurants struggle to make. It is a small dining area, but the food and service make up for it. The food took a bit to come out, but was well worth it. Prices were very reasonable and we're definitely coming back!"

"I'm a big fan of the Happy Teriyaki chain and Teriyaki in general. This is my first less than positive review and I hope this was just my bad experience, but here goes. I ordered the chicken and beef Teriyaki combo for $17.99 and that is where things started to go wrong. The chicken teriyaki was $11.99 and the beef teriyaki was $15.99 so a chicken beef combo should have been like $15.99 or less in my mind. But it was $2 so i moved on. Like I said, I enjoy me some teriyaki. I also wanted to get a bento box originally and for some reason that was not clear to me the bento box was $23.99, but everywhere else in town a bento box has more in it and ranges between $15-21. So not doing well on price, but I was hopeful for the food itself. Now I like to order my sauce on the side because the sauce can mask the great taste of the food beneath. So when the food arrived in about 7 minutes I was excited to try it. When I picked up my food the box was noticeable lighter than most local teriyaki places. I stopped and had to double check that there was food in the bag. There was food in the bag with the normal size container. Now the container was a super nice microwavable container which is unique for teriyaki. I got to my car and opened the box. At this point I'm looking for answers as to what will this over priced light weight weight teriyaki do. First the weight. The container was indeed half empty with two scoopes of rice instead of a bed of rice with the teriyaki mounded on top with the lid pressed against the food. Now the presentation was good. There was a nice char on both the chicken and the beef. However, things quickly took a turn for the worst when i tried the food. First I tried the chicken. The chicken was tender with a noticeable char, but the general flavor was off. The chicken had a distinct won ton flavor to it. Great with a won ton,but not doing it for me with the chicken. Next i tried the beef hopeful that the beef would wow! Unfortunately besides the nice char the beef was bland with an odd won ton flavor and tough as shoe leather. This was particularly sad becuase when prepared properly with velveting and marinade the beef Teriyaki rarely needs sauce. At this point I needed some of the steamed Vegtables which yes somehow tasted like won tons again. What is happening in my mouth. The rice was the saving grace of the meal. Unfortunately this was not the standard Happy Teriyaki experience i have come to enjoy from the several other local Teriyaki joint. This particular teriyaki joint is now firmly at the bottom of the list of local teriyaki places with only one direction to go and hopefully that is up."

"My husband, who is autistic, visited KC Teriyaki today to pick up dinner. He was standing to the side, looking at the menu, when an older Asian gentleman, who appeared to be the cook, suddenly started yelling at him. He demanded that my husband either place an order or leave. Despite this, my husband ended up ordering $57 worth of food but did not leave a tip. Given the terrible treatment he received, I believe they did not deserve a tip at all. We definitely will not be returning."

"Nothing but good things I can say about this place. Food is always delicious and the owners are very welcoming and sweet. It's always a treat eating here. You will not regret it! I recommend the #1, which is fried chopped chicken with teriyaki sauce, served with fluffy white rice and a salad on the side. It is perfection. Chefs kiss! ‍"

"I ordered takeout from this restaurant and I am very satisfied with my choice. The salad, gyoza, and egg rolls were all delicious. The food is delicious (highly recommend the spicy chicken) and the service is excellent. "The food was a little on the pricey side , but it was good. My problem was when I ordered a bubble tea and he told me to Total because I had ordered it after I ordered the food. He said that the bubble tea was $9. I said $9 for bubble tea that 's really expensive. Are you sure it 's $9 for a watermelon bubble tea? He said so you don 't want it and he deleted it off the screen and I said well I 've never paid that much for a bubble tea before that 's really a lot he said Well go somewhere else If my food wasn 't ordered, I would have. He was so rude. And when we ordered he barely acknowledged us. I had to ask him if he got the first part of the order because he didn 't move, and he just looked straight ahead like he was bored. I won 't be going back there soon."

"I don’t normally do this, but since I was there with my daughter visiting her town and since I don’t live in that town, I think the feedback will be important for changes. 68$ lunch (with water) that was supposed to be dining in, however, we were served in styrofoam containers at our table…did I mention we were eating in?! We ordered shrimp tempura with four VERY small pieces for 9$, both meals had VERY small portions overall and were wayyyyy over priced. The chicken in cashew nut chicken tasted weird, daughters chicken teriyaki/beef was good but was mostly rice. They crammed her side salad, scoop mac salad, two scoops of rice and both meats in one small container….sound right?? Nope! The Mac salad was worth the two stars and was very good. With the 68$ was an $11 tip but we served our own waters and no serving was done except for bringing us our styrofoam containers. Feedback: improve meat, up the portion sizes, serve on plates with forks/knives, and if you expect a tip…please check to see if we need napkins and/or like the food please. Wish would’ve e gotten pics."

"VERY FAST...I tried number 43. The meat quality was decent. The meal was served with enough sauce to make a soup. The veggies tasted a day old definitely were not fresh. Except for the mushrooms mushrooms seem very fresh and we're delicious. Atmosphere could definitely be upgraded. The woman at the register was polite and nice. Teriyaki box in renton is the best in my opinion. At the teriyaki Box all of the meat is trimmed to the fat. It is of high quality the meals that are served with a lot of sauce are kept inside a tenfoil bowl to prevent spillage. A highly suggest the spicy chicken mushroom teriyaki at the teriyaki box in renton."

"at this long weekend we have a sweet deal 174) on a trip to seattle a wonderful eating city with a great Japanese food presence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ there will be several contributions about our trip to seattle, but the first is about a day when we can get a quick trip to bainbridge, an island more or less only by ferry. the prospects on the way there were amazing, but until we got there we were super hungry and ended up at a place called teriyaki Town.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ persönlich personally I didn't know that, but seattle is known for her huhn teriyaki and T-town definitiw we let ourselves over why:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. The shining factor here in my opinion is that at some point the shin was grilled to the outside a little smokey and crispy that they do not get at their local mall food court! 2. the soaking the teriyaki sauce itself was absolutely delicious, I could not stop eating it, they can also get it sharp if they want⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. the rice there is something nice about steamed rice and teriyaki sauce, I could eat this strong rice all by myself ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ make them a fallen at the next time in seattle and get them a hazy teriyaki it is not"

"frankly, I didn't have that bad about a restaurant experience as long as I can't even remember. I ordered my food at 16:55 a.m. and I was told it would be 20 to 25 minutes. I look there at 1725 clock up there is a line. wait until several people command and order in the line before me. I paid for my eating, discovering that the prices are significantly higher than the menu that they can order from online. Okay, covid and everything, I thought it was understandable. until I read the reviews online that their prices have not been changed for over a year. strike one. the load clears out and I am the only person waiting now, and the cook asks the cash box what my order was. I know that they didn't even begin my eating and it's 5:45 hr strike two. I had a break and came back to my food was ready. I had asked myself for the hot sniff with my egg rolls and asked myself again when I picked up the order whether the utensili and the hot sniff were in the pocket and were told to them. go home, and there is no hot scavenger in the bag, they gave me sweet and acid sauce instead. the teriyaki was chewy and the chicken was completely unusable as completely clogged. strike three not worth the time not even disturbing. I spent almost $40 on two meals that were unusable"

"Love the veggie stir fried rice, healthy options at 10:30am. Also loved the tiger roll of tempura shrimp although I wish they did twice the amount of rolls in half the size so it'd be easier to eat and would be still perfect amount of food.Thanks for making us yummy food today and I wish your business well.P.S. I recommend adding soy sauce and tapatio to the rice if you order it."
