"My partner and went there after 9 p.m. which means end of the shift and that the staff could feel ready to go home. In this case, the staff looked a bit distracted when we arrived but when the owner entered the restaurant he paid attention and nicely explained to us about the different dishes. Honestly, I didn't understand well what we were going to get, but we trusted his recommendations and that of another customer who had entered the restaurant and who seemed a regular of the place. The food was great and then who seemed like a regular customer, made us laugh and enjoy the night even more by telling very entertaining stories on a diverse of subjects. By the time we left, everyone was smiling including the staff that before had appeared a bit disengaged who were now enjoying tea as they got ready for closing. We had a true New York experience today. Thanks everyone."
