"The woman at the front register really needs to improve her attitude. In the past, I was always greeted with respect and appreciation when I visited, but now I’m met with a rude demeanor and even yelled at. I’ve been a loyal customer since 2017, frequently spending hundreds of dollars because my family enjoys the food so much. There are countless other kabob places along the street that offer cheaper prices, but I chose to support Salam and its owner. Unfortunately, I’ll be taking my business elsewhere solely due to the unpleasant experience caused by this employee. Someone should help her learn how to communicate with customers better."

"My wife has been coming to this restaurant since her college days and really wanted to take me. We had a wonderful time with very friendly staff and owner. I tried the chicken kebab wrap and it was delicious. My wife had the aubergine stew, which she absolutely loves. I also tried her falafel a la carte and it was excellent. The hummus and garlic sauce were phenomenal as well. We are excited for our next visit and would highly recommend this place."

"Ordered a Halloumi wrap, falafel player with the spicy hummus and potatoes and fries, and baklava. I'll start with my favorite. The Halloumi wrap was great. The mint felt fresh and there was a blend of sauces that gave it a great kick. Got hot sauce on the side which was your typical Tabasco and not really Lebanese hot sauce. The portion size was also really filling The falafel platter was good and a big portion but I felt like it lacked a bit of spice despite the spicy hummus. I guess if I were in the restaurant I would have access to hot sauce so that would have made it better. Very filling though The baklava was really good but it WS small, and literally a bite. I've been here a few times and think it's a fast place for good falafel and wraps, and will def visit again."

"Was initially a little skeptical because I ordered a lamb sawarma, but they only have chicken and beef on the menu. They asked to have used the lamb cabob for the shawarm and they did. It was charged, but I didn't care. Lamb cooked for perfection and tasty. Also had a fattoosh (crease and fresh) salad and falafel packing. Friendly and polite service."

"Service was exceptional! I walked in on a Tuesday evening and only seen one staff member, same guy was taking orders, serving and cleaning. I was exhausted for him but he didn't seem phased and offered great service despite having a 3/1 job. The place was clean with ample seating. They have menus you can scan and order directly at the table. Initially I ordered take-out bc there were small children present who were loud. Once my food was ready, the children left and they gladly allowed me to dine in with my take out bag. The food was made to order, took barely 15 mins. There was a large portion of chicken and rice but small portion of salad. The chicken required some salt but overall it was good. The pastry was abnormally small but traditionally delicious. I'll be back to try other menu items. Definitely patronize them! Carbondale needs more restaurants! There is street parking and a lot across the street, free. They are closed on Mondays!"

"Byblos is an intimate space with no more than 10-12 tables. It is a family affair, with what I gathered were the father and daughter waiting on tables and the wife preparing the authentic Lebanese dishes. The father was friendly and warm, and took time to answer in detail all of our questions. The food was well-prepared and we had the feeling that we were eating home cooking, as if this meal would have been served had we been invited to dinner at a home in Beirut. Overall, we had quite an enjoyable evening."

"This is an outstanding lunch spot, but be warned: the portions are quite large—so much so that I can easily skip eating for the rest of the day! Seriously though, it’s a fantastic place in Kendall Square that often has a line out the door during the weekday lunch rush. I’m a huge fan of the spicy chicken shawarma rice plate, which comes with delicious rice pilaf. The hummus here is incredibly authentic, and I usually pair it with either the tabbouleh or the fattoush. I do wish the fattoush had a bit more crunch, but it’s still excellent. The highlight of this restaurant, though, has to be the sauces. I can never pick just one; I end up going for the tahini, the special house pink spicy sauce, and their garlic sauce, which I love to drizzle on everything. I ordered a chicken wrap with a creamy sauce and grilled pickles, and it was cooked to perfection. I’ve never been a fan of warm pickles and didn’t like the thought of them, but to my surprise, the combination was fantastic! I also enjoyed a Greek salad that was truly out of this world—100% fresh, and it was my first time trying beets; they really blew my mind! My wife chose a steak and rice dish accompanied by house-made chicken lemon rice soup. The first bites were crucial in this case, and they were a game changer. The steak was incredibly soft and tender, and the rice was cooked just right. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is: visit this restaurant, and you’ll leave, as we did, wanting more!"

"I was in the store for less than two minutes, asking just two questions, when I encountered a rather unpleasant blonde woman behind the counter. It felt as though not only did she dislike me, but she also detested her job. This interaction definitely left a bad impression on me. Trust me, I could see that she was far from delighted to be at work today. It’s unfortunate because prior to this, I had always had pleasant experiences with all the cashiers. "A very nice Mediterranean fast food place. Located in a prime location in seaport district. The place is plenty spacious and can accommodate decent size groups. Very busy during weekday lunch hours. "Great vegetarian options. Had the falafel special, did not come with cucumbers and tomato like in photos but you can always order one of their yummy salads as one of your two sides and you are good to go.
