"My family and I have eaten here often when we visit. The food is always excellent! Last night was so special as our NY family member turned 97 last week so we all had dishes that she recommended. The beef was so tender, lamb was wonderful as well as chicken. They have a special lemon chicken soup and a lentil soup as well. So good! I?ve eaten at other Greek restaurants in Birmingham, AL and Shish Kabob Grill has the best hummus that I?ve ever eaten. Ditto for the rice pudding! This is a family owned restaurant and this family loves their clientele and it shows. Service is impeccable! I enjoy everything about Shish Kabob Grill!"

"The market is decent, but the prepared food leaves much to be desired. I ordered a chicken kabob sandwich and fries for takeout, and I was very disappointed. The pita bread was stale, making it tough and hard to chew. The chicken inside was cut into tiny cubes, less than half an inch, which really didn’t resemble kabobs at all. The ratio of filling to pita was completely off; even if the chicken portion was doubled, there would still be plenty of space left in the pita. I felt like I got only about 25% of what I was expecting. The little bits of chicken I could taste were quite good, but the effort it took to chew through the sandwich was not worth the payoff. As for the fries, they were undercooked and had a mealy texture. If I had served this meal to anyone, I would have been extremely embarrassed. With so many excellent Mediterranean options in the city, I recommend skipping Mona's for the food, although I might still visit the market."

"Food Used to be good but now they are giving leftovers,well at least to me. No more fresh half chickens i saw it myself the guy opened the bottom of a oven and gave me a half chicken from there they were more over there ,was not fresh. I think they shouldgive fresh food because they just lost a costumer who travels 8 miles to get a half chicken and with me they lost alot of myfriends. Hope they gonna see the review."

"I ordered wraps and mozzarella sticks at this restaurant and encountered a few issues. The quality of the wraps was decent, but the portion size for the price was unreasonable. I finished the wrap in just a few bites. The mozzarella sticks were lackluster, and the drinks were overpriced. Later that day, I experienced intense nausea and headaches, eventually leading to vomiting and other digestive problems at night. I want to highlight that just because a restaurant is Turkish does not guarantee that it is halal. It would be beneficial if they explicitly stated this, as most other Turkish restaurants in the Paterson/Clifton area are halal."

"This was our first time coming here and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. We were looking for something close to home and we happened to stumble upon this little gem of a restaurant by Google searching for a place to eat in Sewickley.Najat’s is a friendly and interesting atmosphere filled with Lebanese culture to enjoy or explore and learn about if you're not familiar. It's authentic Lebanese food and the menu has vegan and gluten free options which is great. There are eight different varieties of hummus, all served with pita, and authentic desserts like baklava, maamoule, bazari and more.I ordered lamb chops with rice pilaf and it comes with a side of shepard salad. I really enjoyed my meal. The lamb was cooked perfect and was well complimented when mixed with the rice. The shepard salad consisting of fresh tomatoes, crisp cucumbers, and onions was seasoned just right and I loved the dressing it was in. My boyfriend ordered chicken spinach which is grilled chicken on a bed of spinach, onions, lemon juice, extra virgin olive oil, corn oil, sea salt and herbs. He really liked it and he shared a bite with me and I have to say it was delicious! We ordered the roasted garlic hummus to start and we were not disappointed in our choice. The owner seated and served us. He was such a joy to talk to and the interaction alone with him is definitely something that would make me want to go back secondary to the delicious food!A few things to note: the hours are not typical so I will post them in this review for reference. "O wow I'm from South Carolina and was staying at the wyndall garden hotel and I saw this place across from it. I've had very good gyros in the past in the streets of Charleston so I've finally took my chance and eat a to go gyro from here I've ordered the beef and lamb wrap and mannnnnnnnnnn that wrap was soooo beautiful and delicious! The presentation of the wrap was very nice the way the lettuce lamb and beef was splitted inside the wrap the way they had the foil wrapped around it was very neat! Once I took my first bite I was hitted with flavor that gyro was super good! I need to ask if they have any spicy sauce or some sorts that would give it that kick even tho i only had one it was damn good for a reasonable price I already gave a tip after placing my order before receiving my food because it was a good instinct that places like these are usually the best hole in the wall spots! Despite the appearance as if they looked closed they are highly not! Good customer service,employees were very cool and I highly recommend eating there if your into gyros I'm definitely getting more today maybe two wraps this time lol but probably as to go but from standing in there the ambiance was pretty nice and you get to see the meats hanging and smell the glory but I think I would go money spending crazy if i ate inside lol. But check em out if your in the area it's a straight 5 /5 for me"
