"Yuchun hit the spot on a hot day in LA! It's pretty large but nondescript Korean restaurant that stands outside the hustle and bustle of trendier areas of ktown. I arrived during mid-afternoon but there was still a regular stream of customers the whole time I was there. Service was incredibly fast and to the point, just how I like it. The cold noodle dishes came highly recommended so that's what I got, specifically the bibim naengmyon (spicy one). The bowl it came in was monstrous and it was packed with pickled radish and cucumber. There were also two slices of brisket and half a hard boiled egg. It came with a side of more pickled radish as well as a bowl of their perfectly slushy, savory sour cold beef broth, which you pour into your bowl. I tried the cold broth by itself and it was absolutely fantastic. I think next time I'll get the naengmyun, which comes with more of this soup. The brisket was incredibly flavorful and soft, and the noodles perfectly firm and chewy. The bibim sauce was delectable, well-balanced sweet and spicy. The mustard and vinegar at the table added a fantastic kick, but be sure to add it slowly if you've never had it before. Something I thought was cool was how there was a large coffee dispenser full of hot beef broth. I got a cupful to sip on, and it was a pleasant contrast to the chilled dish I was eating, flavorful and warming. All in all this was a fantastic and refreshing dish. I will absolutely be back to get the naengmyun!!"
