"This is the quintessential version of what you picture as Chinese takeout that you get here in so many china towns around the country in the US. It?s definitely not the Cantonese style authenticity, or street food/ dim sum dishes that have carved outtheir own culinary identities. Fresh, crisp veggies that aren?t over cooked with proteins that are generously portioned so youfeel like you get an adequate offering for the price. This is my favorite take out spot, it manages to feel like comfort foodwithout being too heavy if you balance out fresher/steamed fare with anything wok/otherwise fried. Never had the essence ofstale fry oil or rancidity that has plagued a handful of unremarkable takeout spots I?ve endeavored across randomly in citieslarge and small. I must say the sauces and oil content greatly contribute to flavoring without imparting too much richness, andit actually makes for a perfect leftovers reheat since you?re like to have enough moisture to keep things hydrated whilecrisping or heating. Enjoy leftovers in the air fryer or with a quick steam just about as much as fresh fare."
