"I have to respectfully disagree with my Yelp friend Edward's review of Lotus Garden. My family and I dined here tonight to celebrate the Chinese Mid Autumn Festival, and overall, we were pleased with our experience. With the exception of one dish (soy sauce poached chicken), we stuck to items on the menu. Each dish had both Chinese and English translations, except for dessert, which was only listed in English (assuming we Americans know how to indulge). The standout dish of the evening was the spicy black pepper steak, with its rich stir-fried black pepper flavor and hints of doubanjang and onions. The beef with broccoli was a typical Chinese-American dish, fresh and tasty but slightly too sweet. The soy sauce and rose wine poached chicken was tender and delicious, despite not being on the menu - a common dish in various Chinese regional cuisines. The fried chicken appetizer was a disappointment, dry and bland, but the Taiwanese pork chops were a hit, packed with Taiwanese-style BBQ flavors. The restaurant seems to have a Taiwanese influence, though they also offer Cantonese dishes. We had plenty of leftovers and the bill came out to $30 per person, a decent value."

"Best carry out Chinese food I’ve had in a long time!! It was all fantastic and perfectly prepared. Moo Shi pork was very crispy and not greasy. General Tso was ordered extra spicy. It was perfect, light and tender. Sautéed broccoli with garlic sauce was also just right. I finally have my new go-to Chinese carryout joint!"

"The food was delicious! My family and I all enjoyed our meals. My mother mentioned that she has been a fan of this restaurant for a while, and after trying it for the first time, I can see why. The owner was very welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be returning and would recommend this place to others. I ordered the beef and broccoli with pork fried rice and an egg roll, which I loved. My mother had the shrimp with shrimp sauce, pork fried rice, and an egg roll. My dad opted for the seafood platter, while my sister went with fried pork, yellow rice, and beans. We all left satisfied and happy with our dining experience."

"The wonton soup was generously filled with sliced scallion greens and several pieces of pork. The broth was flavorful but not too salty. The edamame was plentiful and delicious. The restaurant was very clean with plenty of tables to sit at. I give it an A rating. I was not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised! I will definitely be dining here again."

"Crystal Garden no more Apparently they have a new owner and my first impression is that they kept the name but gutted everything else I loved about this place. They have completely ruined the once-best item: beef lo mein. I’ve been getting it for almost a decade, and it’s been changed into something dry, flavorless, and unrecognizable. The new fried rice was also bland, and the egg rolls seem to have been downgraded. Wontons were thankfully fine, but did seem maybe smaller than before. Will give the place another shot way down the road and the lo mein better be put back the way it was or this place will lose my business of 10 years. My family won’t bother either. It was THAT good before. Please return this menu back to its former glory."

"I have been to many Asian buffets in my lifetime, and this one is definitely the worst. There was not a single enjoyable flavor to be found. I tried numerous dishes in hopes of finding something good, but unfortunately, I was unsuccessful. This meal was terrible, and I am writing this review in the hopes of not getting sick later. "Quick friendly service, tasty food, good price, large portions. A take out spot, but they do have one big table that I was able to sit at the eat some before getting back on the road. "Oh my gosh, this is by far the BEST Chinese restaurant my wife and I have ever visited! The food is simply phenomenal! I ordered the pig lo mein, while my wife enjoyed the house special lo mein. The food is always served hot and fresh, and the delivery is consistently reliable. Today, I tried the fried dumplings for the first time, and I was blown away! They were incredible, and the house-made soy sauce paired perfectly with them. If I were to rate this place on a scale of 1 to 10, it would definitely get a 100!"
