"Every single time I've placed A order for pickup it has not been ready. They will tell you ten minutes you can take 20 minutes to get there and I promise you your food will not be ready. I almost got a ticket for parking at the bus stop because I took 25 minutes to get there for a gyro cheeseburger and the guy did not start cooking it until I arrived. Southern sitting inside waiting for my food the officer asked me to move before he wrote me a ticket. I understand that we are in the hood but customer service should be universal."

"We had a great experience at this restaurant along Route 66. We arrived right at 9am when they opened and noticed two vegan options clearly listed on the menu. We ordered tamales, a generous breakfast burrito, and a coffee for a total of around $30. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasant. The food was delicious and satisfying."

"First time visiting, went because it had a 4star rating. When we initially pulled up at around 7 there was only a couple of cars in the parking lot which was weird. We go in and the place was in deed empty. They serve chips and salsa which was good. We got margaritas which was Awful. I had a peach margarita, tasted like pre-made mix you can get out of Walmart with some thick peach syrup on top. I could not finish it. I got the combo Enchiladas, the food reminded me more of Rosa's Cafe not an authentic Mexican restaurant. Would not return."

"My family and I have been coming to this amazing family owned Mexican restaurant for more than 25 years. My favorite lunch is the Chili Rellane and chess enchilada with a side of bean dip with some fresh salsa with fresh chips. My wife loves the fresh chicken soup and the son orders the wet steak burrito. Now that the state has made the prices of fast food restaurants to ski rocket, this island restaurant is affordable for my large family and friends."

"4 stars because the food was A amazing?!?!?! But the wayyyyyyy over rated desert called “ lava cake” was nasty. It was like a hostess cupcake with chocolate syrup poured over it and heated in the microwave. It was spongy and gross. I’ll go back cause the food itself was great!"

"My usual 5 star restaurant was really off Wednesday 5/15/24, WAS NOT a 5 star visit. Salsa, chips, guacamole was excellent as well as the FROZEN margaritas. On the other hand the chili relleno w/grilled shrimp (will not order again) was NOT like the night of Thursday 4/25/24, the Mexican pizza was NOT cut when served and the nachos deluxe was a pile of chips with minimal steak fajita style with vegetables tossed on top with no cheese, no beans etc. Margarita on the rocks was brought to the table WITHOUT one cube of ice. Needless to say I was trying to impress two other people that had never eaten there before and I had recommended all my favorites which my friends ordered. They were NOT impressed! Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!"

"We stopped in for lunch, but unfortunately, the kitchen was closed. However, the other customers were friendly, and the bartender was fantastic. We were really impressed by one employee, a young man who spent the entire time we were there cleaning. We will definitely return when the grill is open, and we highly recommend this place as a stop on your travels along Highway 39."

"Not authentic like their sign states. Cheese wasn't melted in the chicken quesadilla, and was shredded cheese. Chicken was cold with no spices. The nachos had mainly lettuce and a hand full of chips. Great customer service and fair prices though."
