"This restaurant certainly has promise, but there were some noticeable issues during my visit. When I arrived, there was an unpleasant smell that I initially attributed to nearby sewer lines since I wasn't familiar with the area. The interior of the restaurant was visually appealing, which was a positive note. However, the drinks were disappointing; mine tasted watered down and lacked flavor. I ordered the pork belly with rice, but I found there to be a disappointing amount of pork belly on my plate. On a positive note, the potato salad was exceptional. It also seemed that the staff could benefit from additional training. Overall, I was really looking forward to trying Hawaiian cuisine, and I'm sad to say that this was my first experience. I cannot recommend this place and I won't be returning."
