"The restaurant has the potential to be quite good, but we’ve experienced some inconsistencies during our visits. A recent incident involving bugs was especially disappointing in terms of how the restaurant handled it. It was our favorite spot during COVID; after trying several places, we ended up ordering from here about once a week starting in 2020. We typically enjoyed the flavors and spices, particularly the lamb vindaloo, chana saag, aloo naan, chicken tikka, and aloo gobi. However, we encountered some occasional issues, like the rice varying in quality at times, and once it arrived completely soaked in oil (up to an inch deep in the takeout container), rendering it inedible. The lamb vindaloo also had moments where it was a bit too vinegary. Nevertheless, whenever the food was good, it was really good, which kept us coming back. Unfortunately, after our most recent meal, I found a small cockroach floating in the chicken tikka masala. I called the restaurant for a refund, but they only refunded that one dish, even though we were uncomfortable about eating any of the food. I feel they could have handled the situation more effectively."
