"Love this place. I ordered the chicken fajita nachos which were good and I’ll be happily eating leftovers tomorrow. I barely ate anything because my allergies were acting up terribly and curbed my appetite. But the food was definitely delicious. Mine was meant as an appetizer to be shared. I knew I wouldn’t be sharing and would have ordered chicken fajitas for dinner, so ordering this instead of a meal just made sense to me.I got the fried ice cream for dessert which was tasty but not what I was expecting. I thought it would be vanilla ice cream encrusted in crispy deep fried rice like I’ve had in the past. It was a fried tortilla bowl with vanilla ice cream drizzled in chocolate syrup and sprinkles. So I was a little disappointed with that because due to my braces it was difficult to eat the tortilla at all until it got a little soggy and I could break pieces off. Then it got better but still wasn’t quite the texture and taste I was hoping for.Hubby and our friend got the burrito gigante and both of them finished their food despite it being rather large. Hubby says it was delicious. He also ordered the vallerta sampler which I had some mozzarella sticks from with super stretchy cheese that was fun to eat and yummy. He enjoyed the quesadilla, chorizo queso, the jalapeño poppers (a little spicy but not too much and definitely not eye watering for him or our friend) and took home the wings. He was also very happy to see they had Lime Jarritos which he will always order if anyone carries it. It’s hard to find Lime and he loves it!The atmosphere was nice and small (not a negative but an observation that makes you feel like you could be a regular and know the owner) with both booths and tables. The decor I loved with a modelo piñata, sombrero and other various themed items. It was fairly busy but we didn’t feel neglected. We did possibly overstay our welcome as we sat talking a while after we finished our food, got boxes, paid the check, and moved all the dishes and everything to the end of the table. While they did clean up things as they walked by, they never said anything or made us feel like we had to leave. We had decent service and, as I often mention in my reviews, I got a refill and didn’t have to mention I needed no ice in my drink. I did have to catch our waiter to order dessert but to be fair I barely touched my food and they ate a lot. So he likely thought we were done and he didn’t want to pressure us for the check and make us feel like we had to leave. For the three of us it was just over $100 with tip. About $83 without tip. We got a lot of food for that money though.I am only disappointed I couldn’t eat more and that I didn’t try the Spanish rice which is usually my favorite part aside from the veggies in chicken fajitas. I didn’t think about that when ordered my appetizer for dinner, so silly me on that. All in all and good experience with enjoyable food."

"As we were finishing up, we mentioned to our waiter that we were picking up an Uber Eats order on our way out. He communicated this to the staff handling the delivery orders, which included a young woman who seemed quite unhappy about the situation. When she brought the food to our table, she asked me to confirm the order, which I did. Despite this, she still refused to hand us the bag, leading me to tell my boyfriend to "get the bag." Again, she insisted she needed to see my phone, even though I had already shown it to her. After demonstrating it once more, she finally handed over the food, but not without displaying a snarky attitude. After retrieving my order, I noticed that I had received a negative review from a merchant, which was surprising since I had no negative reviews from either customers or merchants prior to this. The note stated I had "ignored pick up instructions." Realizing this must have come from the young woman, I went back to the restaurant in San Jose to clarify what instructions I had supposedly ignored, as I felt this unjustly impacted my previously perfect rating. The manager was very understanding and apologized, stating we had done nothing wrong and that their establishment didn’t typically issue negative reviews. He pulled up my order on the tablet and confirmed that the negative review was indeed linked to my pickup. Meanwhile, the girl was standing nearby, pacing and shaking her head as I explained the situation to the manager. I asked her directly what instructions I hadn’t followed, and she claimed she hadn’t asked for confirmation, despite the clear evidence to the contrary. While I considered asking the manager to review the security footage, I decided that wasn’t necessary; I just wanted the review removed. The manager was experiencing some technical difficulties but assured me he would reach out to Uber to address the issue. I plan to return today to follow up since it was closing time last night when I left. Overall, the experience was quite upsetting, overshadowing what had been a wonderful evening."
