"This take away Chinese restaurant has been serving very good food for a long time, They took over from the former owner many years ago which was a big improvement for our Chinese food eating community. When I order meals consisting of steak, shrimp or chicken that primary part of the dish will be fresh and tasty. resulting in all their food getting a 4 star rating. Their appetizer are very good, might I suggest the Vegetable dumplings. The only appetizer I ask about before ordering is their Ribs. I have found it necessary to call the owner and voice my displeasure with their ribs as in Where 's the meat . One time our ribs were not up to our standards so now I ask and I will be save that disappointment if they are small.. Their soup is delicious my favorite, hot and sours soup.. My wife and I have tried just about everything on their extensive menu and it 's all very good. Now that we found Leung How Kitchen we don 't need to drive to Bethpage and order from a not very good Chinese restaurant: The Orient.where the food is just okay but their staff is condescending and rude. Not nice people in the service business. I suggest giving this fine take away Chinese restaurant s try.. . ."

"We order delivery a lot. Most times okay and sometimes not. But this palace of taste deserves all the positive words used to describe exceptional beyond expectation. The General is the best prepared and cooked of any Ive had as it is a fav of mine. Tender chicken seems to be lightly breaded, fried as chicken should be then coated with a sauce that is fruity, sweet with a little lemon flavor and a medium dose of spice. The rest was the best as well. Beef dish had its own magic, especially the spicey sauce. We will return."

"I called to order food for my family, and the total came to $70. When I later called to ask for some sauce, I was told there would be a charge of $1 for each container. These are small portions, and usually, they don’t charge for them when I pick up my order. I'm really disappointed, especially since I’ve been a loyal customer for over 10 years. "I'm being honest here—I’ve been coming to this place for ages! I remember when it was a buffet, and our families would gather in the banquet room. I was really sad when it closed down. I was excited to see it open again during lunch today, so I went in. I noticed it wasn’t quite like the old buffet, but since I was there and hungry, I decided to stay, haha. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews about the food, as I didn’t have any issues at all. I ordered a lunch special and, as you can see in the picture, it was a lot of food for just around $7.00. I will say that I don’t personally enjoy very salty food, and I've found that some Chinese takeout places can overdo it on the salt. However, I thought the food today was actually better than what I remember from the buffet. They even provided soup, although I had already eaten it by that time. The staff was really attentive and made sure to check on me frequently to see how everything was."

"While in the neighborhood, we stopped at Beijing's lunch buffet, and were pleasantly surprised at the very high quality of the buffet items. Not your typical chinese-american fare, of dubious quality, the Beijing restaurant's offerings were unique and delicately flavored, reminding me of hints of malaysian and thai flavors. The atmosphere is intimate but not crowded, and unique music sets the mood. The price is very reasonable, $7 per person for the lunch buffet, as of Oct. 2010. Well worth the visit."
