"A fun night out, but the service could be improved a bit.The Eleanor is a relatively new addition to DTSS, and a welcome departure from the other chain restaurants that make up the development. When we arrived the greeter wasn’t particularly nice but helped us to a table and told us it was unlikely we’d be able to bowl. We sampled some appetizers. The nachos were unexpectedly incredible, even without meat. The beans and sauce made for a delicious treat. The General Tso’s wings were a good idea on paper but the taste was pretty mid. The local on tap beers were generous but pricey. Two apps, two beers and a soda came to $60. I’m not sure how great a value that is. The ambiance was cool for the restaurant concept but the yacht rock playing in the background just doesn’t fit the urban aesthetic of DTSS. Fix this, please. The duckpin bowling was a cool idea but the execution was lacking. The machine jammed multiple times which required someone to come and repair it before we could resume our game. We paid for an hour but only got about 40 mins in. They smartly reduced the bill so we only paid for 30 mins so that helped. We didn’t have time to play any other games.Overall, this was fun. It’s an added dimension to DTSS that’s better suited for mature patrons than Dave Busters. We’ll likely return for happy hour.Kid-friendliness: Lots of kids late at night when we went.Parking: Easy parking in DTSS"
