"First, we got so lucky with our server, Jordan. He was lovely from the first introduction and very informative about the dishes and drinks we were interested in. He checked in regularly but not in a bothersome way. He let us know the kitchen was closing soon and that he was leaving but putting us in good hands with someone else. Overall, we had the best time and will be back asking for Jordan!"

"The restaurant area is very nice, the windows green, and the actual brewery atmosphere are great. Food selections are ok, the online menu was very clunky to use and had very little in the type of food descriptions, we had to know what we ordered after a paper copy (which we received was dirty and dirty). Service was quite slow, water was not regularly filled and was not offered when we sat down, server, although nice was quite inattentive. As a guest in a bar/restaurant you would think we would ask if we wanted a second drink/beer, we would not. I will give the restaurant another chance, hopefully the service will improve."

"Arrived a few minutes after 3pm on a Sunday. We were a party of 7 but were seated within a few minutes. Restaurant was about 2/3 full and there were numerous employees actively working. We sat for 20 minutes and never had a server stop at the table, had no water glasses dropped off, or even have someone stop by to say hello. During this time the table right next to us had a server stop by at least twice and had food delivered. The table to our other side had the customers finish and leave at which time it was cleared, cleaned and reset. After 3 more minutes of inattention we chose to leave. We have dined at Mesa numerous times and have found it is not uncommon for the service to be slow, but today was terrible. The food and drinks are pretty good, the service not so much."

"It’s a lovely, old fashioned cozy atmosphere. Nice and quiet and intimate, booths a plenty. Lots of wood and a great looking bar. Everything is great, except the butternut squash ravioli was Sage was really just mediocre, not very flavorful, we’re the chocolate cake It’s just so so."

"normally I love Mesa. Maybe it was the holiday season but we had to find someone to wait on us. Although our food arrived promptly, our server disappeared. And, then a very large loud party was seated next to us and we were ignored. We would have ordered dessert but no one ever came by and we had to flag done someone else to get our check finally. I was eager to leave at this point as the noise level was ridiculous. The rest of the restaurant was relatively quiet on our way out. I don't know why they would seat a party of two in the back room next to two very large, loud parties when there was room in the front. I think our server was overwhelmed as she was very nice when we saw her (which was not much). Normally I like Mesa but won't be back during the holidays."

"Came here for brunch again to give this place a 2nd try. I 've never had a worse experience. Our server was so rude and not attentive to us at all. She completely forgot the coffee we ordered and instead was on her phone at the bar for 1 hour while we waited for it, had to go back and ask her for it, there was literally no one else in the restaurant. Food took over 45 min to come out (again, no one in the restaurant). Menu said thick cut bacon, we had ordered a side and got regular bacon. If I 'm paying that much for bacon I want what it says. Her response when we asked why it wasn 't thick cut was this is what we have. And she said she 's already put it on the table and got upset when we sent it back. I will not be coming back here and really do not recommend anyone else comes here."

"Barbaries Black Angus Steakhouse is consistently excellent in both food and service. The portions are large and delicious, as well as reasonably priced. In general, the servers are very professional, courteous, and eager to please. My only wish is that the owners would install some acoustic materials to help it be a bit less loud. It's sometimes hard to hear members of your own party in conversation. I was more able to clearly hear the loud-mouths in the booth behind me than my girlfriend sitting across the table, facing me. I have been to Barbarie's a number of times and will continue to brave the wall of noise for their wonderful food."

"The food was outstanding and the service matched it perfectly. The meats were top-notch, the taco toppings were delicious, and the ingredients in the burrito were well combined, making every bite enjoyable. The salsa options were also superb. I noticed there seemed to be less oil in the dishes compared to other Mexican restaurants I've visited, which I really appreciated. The staff member who took my order was friendly, polite, helpful, and patient. I've only been here once, but if this is what they typically offer, then it's definitely worth a return visit."

"I thoroughly enjoyed the appetizer choices, as they pair well with the wine. The hummus and bruschetta were delightful, and I can see why someone would refer to them as an adult "Lunchable." The mini pizzas were a hit too—everything just works perfectly together. The ambiance is beautiful and peaceful, making it a great spot to unwind after a long day at work. I also appreciate that it's located in the mall. After a day of heavy shopping, who wouldn't want a drink? Plus, I don’t even have to leave the premises. One Friday night, I had a fantastic time. It got a little crazy, though—someone accidentally spilled their drink on me and later came back to apologize with a drink offer. It was nice of him. At the same time, a wonderful guy appeared out of nowhere with a towel to help clean me up. The other patrons were friendly too, and we ended up chatting and getting to know each other while we drank. Overall, it was a lovely evening. Just a note about the bathrooms—they're quite dark, so don't expect to check for food in your teeth or refresh your eyeliner without a mini flashlight. And there’s this odd little opening under the faucet that leads into the men’s restroom. I can only wonder how that works! Maybe one day…"
