"My Salsa dancing friends came from San Antonio and some local friends recommended Café Salsera, as a hot new spot in Deep Ellum for dinner and Salsa dancing. I had made my reservation online and I received a confirmation; however, when we arrived at the restaurant, they told us we had to wait, as they had been booked for a private party until 9pm and we needed to wait until they cleaned. We got our table close to 9:30 pm. We ordered our food and we liked it; however, the place did not seem like it was going to fill up. While we were having dinner, we could hear Salsa Music playing in the background, but once the DJ started setting up and started playing, the music changed to sort of Hip-Hop/Rap music. When we asked for the Manager, the son of the owner came by and he explained that they just moved the Salsa music to Fridays, but when his Dad came to the table, he said that the DJ would mix it up. In any case, there was no Salsa music and no-one was dancing at that point. By 10:30 pm, we were ready to leave. I was so very disappointed for my friends, since the evening did not go as planned and there was no dancing. We should have gone to Gloria's in Addison."

"The Beverly Hilton in general is showing its age. And this restaurant is no exception, in a hotel this large to have just one restaurant is really ridiculous. The restaurant has not been touched in decades I would guarantee the carpet oh my God. Nothing in the restaurant made me want to stay there any longer than I had to to eat my food. Horrible use of space. The whole place should be demoed and start over. I was attending a wedding only reason I would stay there. Too many other nicer hotels in the area."

"Overall good despite a lot going on between the regular diners, a private party in a small room and a wedding. We arrived a few minutes before our reserved time and were seated in the farthest corner of the room, which was fine. We were the first reservation at 5:30. Our one complaint is the flashing lights on the artificial orchids on various ledges in the room. I had to have my husband slide his chair over to block the one that was directly across the room from my seat. There was one to my right which I made sure to not turn my head to that side and concentrated on keeping my vision to our direct table or along my left side. For such a lovely room and venue, I can’t understand why someone would add the flashing light as a decoration. Also for someone who has light sensitivity I would say stay away from the dining room. We did have an option to sit outside when we first arrived but with the heat and humidity quickly declined ."

"I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the ambiance was comfortable and relaxing, making it a great place to unwind and enjoy some amazing food. My son ordered the steak while I opted for the tenderloin, and both were delightful. We also had a lovely view of the ferry building clock tower outside, surrounded by beautiful skies and trees. The atmosphere in the restaurant was truly exceptional, and the waitstaff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this place!"

"Sorry to say, strike three. The food is mediocre at best. You get the impression you are in for a 5 star meal at an upscale restaurant. What you get is below average food at a dive bar but pay 4-5 star prices. Giving fancy descriptions to the food doesn't make it fancy. Place is rather dumpy to be honest. Looks like they are trying to rustic and quaint, but it is a dump. The waitress/bar maid is awful. Sloppily dressed. Drinks and curses at the bar with patrons. Been here three times, each time the same waitress, and each time the same result. She drinks with bar patrons, and ignores tables. I had to get up and go to the bar to order second round of drinks. I often wonder how places like this stay open. Bar patrons and bar maid are loud, cursing and drinking like sailors. If you are looking for a decent meal, pass this one by. Service: 1 Location: 1"

"We recently dined at this French restaurant and was impressed by the food and ambiance. The Cognac flambéed truffle pasta was a standout dish and prepared table side the truffle and cognac was prepared inside a large wheel of parmesan cheese. The branzino flambéed with pastis was another highlight and was also prepared table side the fish was cooked perfectly and the pastis added a lovely depth of flavor. The presentation of each dish was also top notch. Overall, we had an excellent dining experience and would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious French cuisine."

"I am absolutely obsessed with this restaurant! It has quickly become one of my top picks in the city. I love stopping by for lunch after my workout. Although they have multiple locations, I always find myself coming back to this one. Some of my favorite dishes include the beet appetizer, hummus, avocado salad, chicken thigh tomato stew, and the chicken kebab. And don't forget to try the spicy chimichurri sauce – it's a must!"

"Had the beet salad and the mac and cheese, a glass of house white. It was all good but the mac was under seasoned, the wine pour was small.. Was there during happy hour, but was rung up at regular prices, I pointed it out and she corrected only one of the two incorrect prices..even though I had pointed out both mistakes.. We were ready to leave so I didn't say anything else. My friends pork chop was a little undercooked in places and also under seasoned..strange for a “brined” pork chop. The chocolate pot au feu has salt in it, would be better without, the apple crisp was ok. I would try this restaurant again, ask for salt and pepper on the table and order a beer"

"this place is impressive. in a city known for its grill, antler room lifts the ante and performs perfectly. image here is a celery and cale salad and Georgian meat dumplings. the salat was an explosion of aromen and, quite honestly, the winner of the evening. but it had a stiff competition: the dumplings were incredible. not pictured was a lemon cake with huckleberries (good, but not amazing.) the service could not have been better, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. if they haven't been and they want it for a-upscale-but-still-casual dinner, put it on their short list!"

"The menu indicates that the dishes are meant to be shared by 1-2 people. I ordered the $30 lamb chops, but was disappointed to receive only about 2 spoonfuls of rice and 3 small, bony pieces of lamb. My mom's jerk chicken was also undercooked, with an unusually pink color. Most of the other guests in our party opted for burgers, which came without any fries or sides, requiring an additional purchase. Our food was served at different times, with some dishes arriving before our drinks from the bar. Despite making a reservation in advance for my birthday, the staff did not acknowledge the special occasion, simply asking if we had a reservation upon arrival. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived (a party of 8), and the only positive aspect was the attractive decor and ambiance. The music was so loud that we had to shout to communicate with each other. Overall, we were unimpressed and would not return to this overrated establishment."

"We decided to try this restaurant because of a Groupon deal and because they are temporarily working on a BYOB basis. The food and service were both excellent. We had dinner on a Friday night and sat on their outdoor porch seating additional outdoor patio seating is also available. We started dinner with the Fromage Charcuterie platter, followed by a Pasta dish of artichokes chicken and a side of Brussel Sprouts and finished with two desserts Lemon Bars and Tres Leches Cake. Everything was very good, but the brussel sprouts were amazing, a little sweet and a little spicy. Our server Julianna was great, she was attentive and personable. Another Great New Hope restaurant to choose from"

"Went here for the Needle Thread, and it was an awesome experience! Be sure to make reservations beforehand, and you would discover a wonderful bar behind the phone This speakeasy bar does not have a menu, just let the bartender know what you want. The penicillin here is super good, probably one of the best I ever had! The Islay whiskey flavor is strong, while it’s smooth to drink in with ginger and spice aroma. The Alexander is also a great dessert cocktail, not too sweet but with creamy touch. The fried chicken is also pretty good with great portion, a wonderful companion with the drinks! Although the cocktails here are $19 pre-tax, the quality worths the price for sure! A definitely recommended bar and probably one of the best bars I love in Seattle :"

"The restaurant has great ambiance on the river and our waiter was attentive. We were one of four tables there for the entire evening about 20% full). Unfortunately that is where the compliments sadly end. If you like cocktails with what should be a high end dinner, read no more because they only have beer and wine. Most waiters with difficult to decipher menus would be proud to share the many interesting menu items. Instead, we had to ask each and every question, which we had many. We decided to skip the 5/6 course menu option for a couple a la carte items each instead. We were told the a la carte items like ravioli $46) were bigger portions than the 5 course meal $79) which makes sense. I was looking forward to the bone in double Tomahawk Pork Chop however when I tried to order it they told me they didn 't have it. Why wouldn 't you tell everyone that certain menu items aren 't available upon arrival so you don 't sit there and consider them unnecessarily? The same thing happened when we tried to order brussels sprouts. How can a restaurant kitchen be out of brussels sprouts if it is one of just two vegetable options? After we ordered, It took an an hour and a half for them to bring our first course. We had planned this dinner to probably take somewhere around two hours total. I ordered the sweet potato appetizer and cannot understand the pairing of flavors with these undercooked wedges. The portion was small and when they picked up the plate, it was mostly still there. They did not seem concerned at all that I clearly did not care for the dish. The caesar salad had no lettuce and was beets, thank goodness we asked about the salad before ordering. They made a very nice exception for one of us and made an actual caesar salad for her. We were beginning to wonder if we had entered the Twilight Zone. Is this an awful joke being played upon us? Are we on candid camera? We were all looking forward to our entrees given similar experiences with our first courses such as the soup which was about four tablespoons portion wise). Remember, the expensive soups and sweet potato $18) dishes are large portions. At the 2 hour and 30 minute mark, we were brought our entrees. I ordered the Ribeye see picture). The portion size was about six ounces, not what I was expecting when I order a large portion steak. Where is the other three fourths of my ribeye? The meat was prepared perfectly however it was the toughest ribeye I had ever chewed on. It was served with their version of A1 sauce which I think they called B2. It tasted like A1, which I don 't care for and left alone. Two of our party ordered the Ravioli $46) which we also took a picture of and attached. This again is the larger portions which was a whopping four ravioli squares. Thats over $10 per square for simple ingredients, they weren 't stuffed with truffles or foie gras for instance! We all left hungry and upset after three hours of the strangest and most painful eating experience of our lives. My mother who is 75 concurred it was the worst meal experience in her life as well. I walked away wondering if the chefs and staff were abducted by a group of vagrants ramdomly walking about on the local streets greyhound bus station is just across the street) and dressed up to play the part and serve us for a major cash scam. How can this restaurant have 4.5 stars on Yelp? It seems the reviews are relatively from long ago in general; I would say Covid has hit this place hard, which is unfortunate. I hardly ever post reviews but people need to be fairly warned. I would gather this restaurant will not survive and it showed with the lack of customers while everywhere else just down the street on the River Walk was packed. Good bye Gwendayuck, good luck."

"Their salads remain delicious, and I've developed a bit of an obsession with the endive and bitter greens salad—I order it every time I visit. It's absolutely delightful! Everything about Brasserie Liberte is nearly perfect; the food, atmosphere, and service are all exceptional. I happened to be there for lunch, but the versatility of this spot makes it suitable for nearly any occasion, whether you're enjoying a casual meal with friends, family, or colleagues, or just want to grab a drink at the bar. Let me start with the ambiance. The decor and furnishings are stunning, and the vibe is laid-back and relatively quiet. The lighting is also excellent. The large windows at the front half of the restaurant flood the space with natural light, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. I visited in late January, but I can imagine the outdoor seating is lovely when the weather is nicer. If you're looking for a cozier setting, the back half of the restaurant is more sheltered from the light, offering a dimmer and more intimate environment. This truly is a space that can cater to everyone's preferences. And let's not forget the food! I had the carrot grain bowl, and it truly exceeded my expectations."

"This place is really delicious. I ordered two vegan omakase (chef's choice) rolls. They're more expensive than any of the other rolls, so I was expecting something special, and they exceeded my expectations. "My mom and I came in to have lunch on an afternoon. I ordered the tuna steak and she ordered the cheeseburger. She absolutely loved her burger and said it's one of the best she's had. It was cooked perfectly and their secret sauce was great!! I ordered the tuna steak. Honestly, one of the best tuna steaks I've had in a loooong time!! The combination of the avocado mousse, tzatziki and smokey tuna steak was a flavor I didn't know I needed in my life it was delicious! For dessert we shared a creme brule. The custard was rich and the crust was good. It didn't have quite have that satisfying break, but the flavor made up for that. Lunch was well worth the price and I hope to try their breakfast options soon (served all day)"
