"Urban Plates has a casual cafeteria and restaurant atmosphere. There's a large menu posted outside, allowing you to decide what you'd like before entering. You place your order at the register where you also receive your drinks, and then you're given a number to put at your chosen table. They offer a selection of wine and beer, along with a self-serve water station. The ambiance is very earthy, enhanced by the plants and succulents adorning the space, including your table. You can choose to sit inside, on the covered patio, or at umbrella-shaded tables near the street. The food is fantastic, though portion sizes could be a bit larger. I often order the salmon with beets for $16, but the chimichurri steak for $18 is also incredibly tasty! Each dish is beautifully presented, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. Since Urban Plates is conveniently located next to the movie theater, it makes for a great spot to grab a meal before catching a discounted movie on Tuesday nights!"
