"I feel bad to write this review. we've been here for a few years. the last few paintings we have gone, we were disappointed at the quality of food, but our experience tonight sealed the deal for this 2 star review. ambiente and service are still good. we sat outside, which was great, but noticed that inside was a little smelly/musty when we came through to sit outside. a bad smell in a restaurant puts the stage for asking how the dings are managed. they must come to the root of this asap to stop the people from doing so. we ordered salat. they served a great part, fresh, tasteful and dressed properly. my salat was tonight about the size of the palm and was dressed far above the point of soggy. my man ordered the ribeye for $39 and it was about 3/8 thick and had a strange (possibly dose sauce that was extremely disappointing. kartoffeln were banquet style - to miss any fresh, gourmet flavor or flare. if they go to dinner for a special occasion, they should not feel as if they get 1 of 200 served a mediocre plate. in a banquet they expect that. not when they go for a special meal. I ordered the shrimp sampling, which was served with a lemon bassil sauce. there were 4 tiny little shredded basilikums. the rest was dried petersilie. really, they couldn't afford a basilikum, soo easy to come? the dish had poor taste (usually simple butter), and garnel were on the small side. I asked for parmesan with my pasta, and they brought me Mozzarella shredder. really, no parmesan? how could they not have a clip for a pasta court? we would consider our meal worse than standard diner food. much too expensive for what we get."
