"What can I say, it's a wine store with shelves of wine to buy and a bar and a restaurant all in one. Make sure you're seated in the bar area that is surrounded by all the shelves of bottles of wine it has a great ambiance as opposed to the side rooms. The super cozy atmosphere of this restaurant is what I love. We started with the grilled octopus. It is the Mediterranean on a plate with fingerling potatoes sautéed with olives and feta and tomatoes, and grilled octopus that all paired so well that you felt like your were transcended to the Mediterranean. We ordered a whole bottle of wine with the starter. For dinner we ordered the Cioppino (a seafood stew of sorts) The fennel broth was delicious and not overpowering. It included fish of the day which was mahi-mahi shrimp, mussels, and calamari one of my favorite dishes and the iron bridge did not disappoint. My husband ordered the Farro grain that included a vinaigrette sauce as his side with mahi-mahi as the main, which was the fish of the day.and broccolini. The serving was well satisfying, and the taste of this dish with all the components really went well together. We did not order dessert but their deserts are Terrific as we have enjoyed them before. The Cappuccino was a large mug that didn't need sugar because it was made how it should be made. Service was super attentive with not just 1 person tending to our table but the whole waitstaff was either removing dishes or bringing our food, out, it was a collaborative effort. We will go back! !"

"For the price, they didn’t get the little things right. We arrived promptly for a reservation and were seated after about a min wait and a decent walk at the end of the lawn closest to the beach. Not sure what the wait was since only about half the tables were occupied. We were sat in a table right in the beating sun, despite all other diners being in the shade. After about mins being uncomfortably hot and waiting for a staff member I flagged down a server, and asked to move tables. He asked we not move and went on the long walk to get our server. She asked we not move and went on the long walk to talk to the hostess who thankfully approved our request. Again, only about half the tables were occupied so I am not sure if the shady tables were reserved for more important diners. After dripping in my own sweat, the beer I ordered (tropical wheat) was not available and the waitress stated she was unsure why it was even on the menu since it hadn’t been served in a long time. The rest of the beer menu was unexceptional. Even the Flying Fish Tavern Ale I ordered was average despite the brewery generally producing excellent stuff. Crab soup was ok but a bit thin on crab, and lobster lasagna well made but every bite tasted identical and there were no sides to break the monotony. Cape Resorts you can do better. We dined at the Ebbitt Room earlier in the week and small amount more in pricing got us a step change in dining experience."

"This restaurant was pretty disappointing for all the good reviews. We were seated on the patio, in clear view of the host stand, but no one came over to our table to greet us or get drink orders or even pour some water. After over 20 minutes of being ignored by the staff, I asked the host if they forgot about us. He was very apologetic that yes they did. Ok, that happens, and I was willing to move past it. But then it took 10 more minutes for a server to come over. While she was nice, she didn’t acknowledge that we had now been sitting there for 30 minutes without any service or apologize. She seemed flustered so it’s possible she had too many tables to take care of. Anyways, we ordered 2 cocktails and a charcuterie board. The board came, but no drinks. Eventually the drinks came out. The charcuterie board was a basic one and overpriced. The cheese and capicola meat tasted good but there wasn’t much on the board for the price. Just mustard, jam, and caramelized onions plus crostini so hard it felt like we were going to break our teeth. Their twist on the Paloma with mezcal was pretty good but our server never asked if we wanted a second round so we didn’t get to try another cocktail. We split the salmon quite overcooked), fell for the “lobster add on” special $18 for chewy claw meat), and got the crispy Brussel sprouts these were very good). Overall, not worth the price especially with the service lacking."

"I 'm pretty adamant when it comes to customer service. The host was nice and friendly. She sat us down and then a server came out. She did not greet nor smile. We let her know we were new to the place and she at least gave us some time to look over the menu. I just feel the first impression is absolutely the best way thing to do when being a server is to smile and say hello. A very simple gesture goes a long way, just as an unwelcoming gesture can really have an effect on our experience as diners. I believe her name is Ashlie, which was on the receipt. I still gave her positive responses to her service since I am no Karen. I figured maybe she just needed some happy customers. She did well checking up on us and taking plates off the table. I never leave a bad tip so I still tip her good. I think a little personality adjustment would make it better for her as a server in this industry. Food experience: amazing! There were so great options for kids and they all look delicious. Not your typical, bread and hot dogs. We got our baby fried catfish meal and it came out perfect. Good seasoning and she liked it. Next, we ordered mozzarella logs. Those were great! It has a bite of overcooked on high heat oil but was still great. The marinara sauce was on par. The drinks were good! Stout and as it should for the high prices on them. I ordered Ribye Poboy. Delicious and I didn 't find anything wrong with it. Crawfish etouffee was okay, I wouldn 't order it again. I 'm picky when it comes to cajun food but as a sports bar, it 's still alright. It just has more of a tomato sauce taste. I 'm not sure how they make their roux but I would 've loved it with more garlic, grilled bell peppers, and onion tastes to it. The tomato flavor is overpowering. I don 't know if that 's what they use it on there as one of their ingredients but it tastes like that. Fried chips and queso are good. Will I come back again? Likely. The menu has great options and still has many items that I want to try out. I know it 's not the typical cajun restaurant I expected but they 're still good. It 's good to have a different palette for what another establishment offers."
