"This brand is as iconic as baseball and apple pie, so I walked in with high hopes. Having grown up surrounded by the warm aroma of freshly baked goods, I was disappointed to find that this place didn't have that same charm. As I entered, I was greeted by a dark, empty atmosphere, and the young staff at the counter seemed to lack energy—perhaps they needed some caffeine. The overall vibe felt more like a funeral than a bakery. The cookies were overcooked, and the display case, which should have celebrated these beloved treats, was uninviting. I almost felt sorry for the place. It's a shame, especially given its prime location right across from Bass Hall. However, I'm willing to give it a second chance, based solely on the brand's reputation and its fantastic spot!"
