"We usually love dining at Ciclo. We are happy to pay extra for next level service, tasty food, and a great ambience. This was my husbands first time dining there, so we were hoping it would make a good impression. We sat down and were not greeted or acknowledged for almost 15 minutes. Our cocktails came out one at a time, over the course of the following 20 minutes. Upon getting our food, which was mostly delicious, our server had not checked on us or refilled our drinks. Other servers came by with a water pitcher in hand to top up our waters, but that was the most attentive anyone had been. When asking for a side of lemons (plural) for one of the guests iced tea, the server said no problem. After waiting 5 minutes, my friend went to the seafood table and grabbed some lemons that were meant for the shrimp cocktail. The server came by finally and slammed a bowl down next to her that only had one lemon wedge and said nothing and walked away. She slammed the bowl down so hard we were all quite alarmed and had to inspect the bowl to make sure it didn’t break. Needless to say, our experience was terrible, and not on par for a Four Seasons dining experience. We are disappointed. I’m not sure if they were understaffed that day, or our server was inexperienced, but the service was horrible. I want to mention that we are very pleasant, kind, and patient people. Normally we don’t complain or paint businesses in a bad light, but I feel like this needs to be seen by the restaurant so they can make some improvements."

"Went here for breakfast recently and after many days decided to write a review. We arrived at around 10A. The line was relatively short with only a handful of patrons in front of us. The line to order took about 8 minutes, give or take. After looking over the menu I ordered the Pesto Avocado Toast and an iced chai tea latte. I also tried to order a dessert for later but they didn't have several of the ones I wanted so I settled on a cheese danish. We found a table right away and sat down. After a couple tens of minutes we started feeling like it was taking a long time. I looked at our receipt and noticed we placed our order 26 minutes prior (the receipt was time stamped). I decided to give them 4 more minutes before heading up to the counter to inquire about our order. They said that they were busy. And, just for reference, the patio was fairly empty and there were several tables available inside, so they weren't, in my opinion, 30 minute wait for food busy. Interestingly, right after i asked, our food came out. So either it was good timing or it was already ready and just sitting back there in the kitchen. Either way, 30 minutes is a terribly long wait for food. I'll only review my food. The pesto avocado toast was blah. The lettuce on top was shredded iceberg and, it was sad and starting to wilt and brown around the edges. It added no flavor or texture to the toast whatsoever. And it actually made the toast look quite sad and unattractive. The pesto was actually mixed into the avocado...weird. I don't know, but I expected the avocado to be smashed, the pesto to be drizzled over the top, the lettuce to be something else all together...the best part was the crumbled cheese. My chai was tasty, thankfully. Later in the day when i ate my danish i wasn't blown away, at all. The cheese portion wasn't very flavorful. Again, just kinda blah. Overall, if you're looking for a gathering spot, i guess this is a cool-ish place, centrally located. But the wait for food isn't great and i wasn't blown away by any means by the food. Edit: addition after response from business owner...I'm glad to hear you're switching up the lettuce because it was just not working. Hopefully the mixed greens will be better. To address the long wait, however, perhaps having more staff in the kitchen to accommodate for your unusually large amounts of door dash orders would be a good idea. Leaving people waiting for 30+ minutes is still, in my opinion, inexcusable. Especially at breakfast...eggs and smashed avocado shouldn't take that long. I've absolutely been to places that have been packed full and haven't waited that long. So I'm not sure what's going on in your kitchen."

"Reduced to tears on my birthday! What a horrid experience. I foolishly invited 10 friends to Moxies for my birthday celebration. We are a mature group of 55 65yr old professionals who eat out pretty much every day. The service was horrendous...we had to keep sending somebody into the restaurant for service, water, drinks etc. Things deteriorated quickly after we paid the check and then decided to order coffees. Matthew (manager? suddenly appeared, leaned down on the table and told us he needed us to leave straight away as they needed our table for another party just as our coffees arrived! It seems he didn 't like being undermined by the server who told us we were fine to stay, they had another table nearby which they quickly set up. All good. Then the server offered us more drinks so a couple of our party ordered Espresso Martinis. She lost the order and so our drinks took about 30 minutes to arrive and were comped. As soon as our drinks arrived Matthew also reappeared with 2 or 3 security guards and again demanded that we leave as we weren 't spending enough at that point!!! We had paid our check and left a hefty tip which I requested be returned after the rudeness from him. He refused. We told him we wanted to finish our drinks and then we would leave ASAP. Immediately, he got on his radio and we found ourselves surrounded by security staff and other managers . My night was ruined, we were intimidated and embarrassed. The staff refused to clear our table which was covered with glasses, plates, left over food etc. My friend asked many times for them to please clear the table to which Matthew replied that it was not company policy to clear the table while guests were still seated! In the end, I moved all of the debris to another empty table and cleaned the table myself. On my birthday! We will never return to Moxies, which is a pity because we are locals and have been regular patrons since they opened. The evening was ruined. A nightmare."

"WHAT A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! DESPICABLE TO SAY THE LEAST!!!I've dined at numerous restaurants across the globe, and my experiences have varied greatly. I've encountered some truly exceptional ones, several that were just average without any standout moments, and unfortunately, a few truly awful ones. One of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had was at the Moxies Dixon Road Restaurant, located at 55 Reading Ct, Etobicoke, Toronto, Canada.A few months ago, I visited this establishment for lunch and specifically requested a quiet area within the restaurant. To my dismay, I was seated there without a server attending to my table for nearly an hour, despite my repeated attempts to get their attention.Even when they finally served my lunch, there was no staff member in sight throughout my meal and after I had finished. After concluding my meal, I even used the restroom and could have left without settling the bill. However, I decided to go to the entrance and pay my bill, almost as if I were in a fast-food joint. A polite young woman working there apologized profusely for the horrendous experience, and I left, thinking it might have been a one-time occurrence.Unfortunately, my optimism was shattered during a recent visit just two days ago, an experience that still leaves me and my guests in disbelief. We commenced our evening with an order of chicken wings, hoping for a delightful evening. As the server was about to place the dish on our table, it slipped, causing a piece to fall on the floor and splattering BBQ sauce on my clothing. To our astonishment, the server merely chuckled at his mishap, dropped the plate without any apology, and walked away. We managed to clean up some of the mess from the spill and sought the assistance of another staff member, requesting to speak with a manager. This is where the nightmare truly began. The manager, who introduced himself as Aizaz Butt, arrived with a single chicken wing on a plate and carelessly dumped it onto our table, displaying a disrespectful attitude that even animals don't deserve.Shocked and appalled, we expressed our belief that the least he could do was offer an apology or replace the contaminated plate. He responded rudely, questioning whether it was merely one piece of chicken that had fallen to the ground. His defensive demeanor, with both hands in his pockets, left us even more stunned. In response, we decided to leave and requested that the receptionist summon the manager. Another staff member, a young man, arrived, also with hands in pockets, and claimed to be aware of the situation. However, he offered no apologies, didn't inquire about our names, and seemed eager to usher us out of the restaurant. We asked for his card and departed, utterly disgusted. The only individual who extended an apology was the young lady at the reception, and it was clear that she was as taken aback as we were by the treatment we received and the manager, Alex Molina's, uncooperative and unwelcoming attitude. This was an absolutely abysmal dining experience, to say the least!"

"Woody’s River Roo 8-31-24 First of all, when I pulled into the parking lot, I did not expect much from this place as it was not the fanciest place I have ever seen. We got there about 12 noon on a Saturday memorial weekend. This place was not full, but it was neatly organized and clean. Some tables were under the Tiki, some were out on the boat dock area with umbrellas to shade them and some were outside and inside the Gift Shop area yes, they have a separate Gift Shop. There was a 2nd bar out on the docks to help get drinks to people. There are lot of choices if you want to sit outside or inside with ac. If you sit under the Tiki, you can hear and see the musicians much better. Our waitress Missy came over fast and took our drink orders and left menus for us to look over. She came back with our drinks and took our orders and answered any of our questions being our 1st time there. I ordered Crab and Shrimp Dip for an appetizer. It consisted of Crab, Shrimp in a dip with Tortilla Chips. For my main dish I ordered the Seafood Boil which consisted of Shrimp, Mussels, Andouille Sausage, Potatoes and Corn all for 21.95 (it was on special) You could add a Lobster Tail for 15.00 extra which I did. One thing I found I really liked was Missy asked how I wanted my Seafood boil did I want it mild medium or Hot. Way to go guys now let’s see if it ends up like I ordered. The wife ordered a side salad as she wanted the lobster that I ordered with my meal. My dad ordered the BBQ Wings. My appetizer of Crab and Shrimp dip got delivered fast and I could not believe how good this was. I am telling you I have done tons of reviews all over SW Florida and this is the best I have ever had. To tell you the truth I could have eaten an entire large bowl of that dip. We were about ¾ way through my appetizer and our main dishes came out. My Seafood boil was very hot and seasoned perfectly just like I like I wanted. This dish was so good I was astonished. I can’t say enough how much I loved this dish and there was plenty of Sea food in my Boil to fill me up. My wife’s Lobster Tail was hot and seasoned to her liking as well. My wife’s Salad was plentiful for her to eat, and she loved it. My dad stated the wings were hot and seasoned perfectly. There was plenty for him to eat and he was done, he was full. The music did start a little late but it was nice to have it while we ate our meals, and it was not too loud so we could hear each other easily. This place hit on all cylinders for us. I cannot think of anything they did to get less than 5 stars from the service to the food to the music and even the vibe of the place was all terrific. The only thing they need to do, and this is not a deal breaker, is redo the men’s bathroom, it needs some real attention. If you get the chance to go you will not be disappointed. I know we will definitely be back. I give this place a top score of 5 stars, and I just don’t hand them out they have to earn them, and Woody’s did just that. Follow Me On FB For More Fun. "We had a reservation for 6:30PM and when we arrived we were directed to a table by one of the wait staff. Shortly after ordering our drinks, a grouchy staff member (we later found out was the manager) came over to our table and told us the table was reserved. We told him we were the reservation and then he proceeded to question us about what time our reservation was for, our names, etc. It was a very bizarre exchange and made us feel uncomfortable, like we had done something wrong. As we ordered our food, a couple came in and sat right next to us with their 2 large dogs. I am severely allergic to dogs, so my husband asked if our party could be moved. Our server said that they would move the dogs. When our food finally arrived the dogs were still there so my husband asked again if something could be done. The server then brought the manager over and he said they were service dogs so they wouldn’t move them. They let everyone who wanted to pet them, play with the dogs so I find it difficult to believe they were service dogs, but that aside, even the wait staff were touching them, which could contaminate food. We were eventually moved (we had to carry our food through the restaurant with a 6 month old baby, so it it’s not exactly a quick/easy task). My suggestion would be that if you are going to allow everyone who says they have a service dog into your restaurant, perhaps have a designated area or seat them outside on the patio, not directly outside the kitchen doors. It is unhygienic to have dog hair flying in your food and drinks, the potential of fleas, and some of us have allergies. It was very clear to me that the dogs were more important than my health."

"Father 's Day celebration for our good old Dad. The place was super busy. We expected that. But knowing you 're going to be busy is no reason to be slammed. You plan ahead. Our first round of drinks took 20 minutes, 'be right back to take your food orders ', our server whizzed by our table for the next 20 minutes before stopping by to say, 'How was everything? ' WHAAAT! We ordered shared appies and mains. Over 20 minutes and no appies. 1/2 hour and a group of servers show up with our entire order. Apies and mains. When I questioned 'the food all at once, ' one guy shrugged and they all walked away. Not wanting our mains to get cold, we dived in. Unfortunately our appies were wilted and cold, not worth eating. By this time we still haven 't seen our waitress. Finally one of the hostesses walks by, notices our plates and takes away one. WEIRD. Comes back a few minutes later, chats up the couple sitting next to us. Turns to look at us, smiles, 'How was everything? ' Not waiting for an answer, she turns back to her new friends. I pipe up. 'We would like to order some dessert. ' She turns and says, I 'll get that right away. Walks away without taling our order??? A few minutes later a served walks by, with a to go bag, asking if anyone had a take away order. He leaves it with the couple next to us. They look in it, shrug, put it on an empty table. Then a few minutes later ask us if we ordered the dessert in the bag. Noooo! Wife looks in bag, looks like leftovers! The couple are laughing, got a kick out of this! Our waitress comes by, we finally order dessert, by this time, to go. Just want to leave. It arrives in a bag, along with bill and p.o.s Slick, not a 'How was your experience? ', just here 's you bill, what 's your hurry! Moxies-you ruined our celebration . There 's no walking back from this. Thinking of a way to apologize to our Dad for such a tiresome and disappointed evening."

"Probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a restaurant. We were a party of 8. Food came out one plate at a time over the course of about 20 minutes. The first person who got her food was done eating by the time the last person got theirs.. BUT, that wasn’t the worst part. When my husband’s food came out the waiter spilled a HUGE cup of tartar sauce all over his coat and my brother’s coat. My husband’s coat was ruined. The good news is that they did end up buying him a new coat because the stains did not come out. My brother’s stains came out of his coat, but he wasn’t compensated anything for the headache. The whole experience was just AWFUL. My mother had to beg for rags and water to clean up tarter sauce that was literally dripping from their coats. Zero help was given to help us clean everything up. Not one person came running to give us an hand. And we were on our way to see a Christmas parade so they needed their coats to be wearable. The manager had absolutely no remorse and we weren’t given anything to make our experience a little bit better IN THAT MOMENT. In fact, we had to ask to speak with her! Like the least you could do is comp 1 meal?!?! Maybe a free drink or a cookie?!?!?! She was rude, unapologetic, and lacked any sense of remorse! Who would ever give someone like that a manager job? We all lost our appetite as my mom dunked dish rags in a pitcher of water to try to clean up a huge tartar sauce mess all over their coats! We understand accidents happen, but their lack of empathy was AWFUL. Food was just OKAY. Definitely will never return for horrible service, just okay tasting food, poorly trained management, and a huge headache."
