"In brief: The food is quite good, but the service leaves something to be desired. Avoid using the QR code stickers for payment! The kids’ build-your-own pizza activity is a hit, as they get to make their pizza at the table before it’s cooked, and the kids always have a blast.
Now for the details: We visited during a quieter time, so we were seated right away. Our food arrived promptly and was delicious! However, as our meal progressed, our server became increasingly scarce, making it difficult to get drink refills and to settle the bill so we could leave. I opted to use the QR code stuck to the table for online payment through my smartphone and immediately regretted it. First, it asked for my phone number, then sent me a 4-digit authentication code via SMS. After entering the code, which established nothing except my desire to leave, a total bill of over $36 appeared on my screen. Almost simultaneously, I was given a physical check by the server for just over $25, leaving me puzzled.
I approached the front counter to talk to a man (possibly the manager) who seemed to be looking for something in a hurry. He informed me that the QR codes weren’t working and that they were trying to resolve the issue. He assured me that as long as I hadn’t entered a credit card number, I was fine. It was a frustrating end to what could have been a wonderful experience."
