"Let me start of by stating the positive.  For many years my wife, friends and I have been visiting Pitch Pizzeria and have enjoyed many meals and great service.  Today that image was completely destroyed.  We entered Pitch West to be greeted by the hostess who started by saying we had three options, table one had a reservation in 60 minutes, table two. at the high top. had a reservation in 90 minutes or we could sit at the bar.  To be clear, we arrived at 5:20pm for happy hour.  I have been in the service industry for over a decade and worked for some of the finest restaurants in Omaha, prime steak houses, and was floored by this time limit for eating at a restaurant.  It is very likely we would have finished our meal prior to that timeframe, but being given an ultimatum as soon as we arrived is BAD SERVICE.  After speaking with the manager we agreed to stay and sit at the bar.  This is when BAD SERVICE went to RUDE SERVICE, the VP of Operations, Dean Leisman, came over after we sat down and interrupted a private conversation my wife and I were having to continue to inform us how we should have made a reservation if we wanted to eat at his restaurant.  From there things got even worse, I am shocked by the disrespect and unprofessional attitude displayed by a VP of Operations of a business not to mention a restaurant.  After being "scolded" by the VP of Operations for not making a reservation I told him that I would be leaving.  His response was "good".  It was only shortly after this incident I learned he was the "VP of Operations".  As I exited the restaurant I spoke with the manager who was very friendly and convinced us to stay originally and informed him of how we were treated.  During that conversation the VP of Operations Dean Leisman said and I quote "I am the owner and don't give them anything, let them leave". This was very embarrassing as we were chased out of the restaurant by the VP of Operations or as he calls himself the "owner".  We will never return and will be spreading our experience to anyone that is willing to listen.  Do not eat here unless you want to be treated terribly.  I cannot express enough dismay.  The worst part about this entire experience is Pitch was our favorite restaurant."

"We got to the restaurant at 11am for a later breakfast. Took 20 minutes for somebody to come over to our table to take drink order. We ordered mimosas that also took 20 minutes and a few reminders later to be served to us, as they forgot to put our drink order in. We also ordered another set of drinks for them to never come. THEN, it took an hour for food to come out and everything was cold and overcooked. The “manager” who was also the server and hostess was socializing the entire time and all the staff was so fixated on a trivia game going on in the restaurant the entire time. I am in the service industry and serve people everyday this 100% was the worst service i ever received. All you get is the excuse “we’re short staffed” but you see plenty of people working serving, running food, bartending AND training. They ended up taking care of the bill for us which was nice, but it wasn’t the point. Definitely not worth the two hours we wasted in this restaurant."

"Don’t go here unless you want to get rudely asked by the “owner” to leave after 2 hrs. We reserved a table for a work event and was NEVER told there was a time limit for each table. Not to mention, the food came out after 40 minutes. The waitress was nice but the owner is rude! He came over after 2 hrs and asked if we were almost done because he “needed our table”. One of the people we were with was actually still eating when he came over and 2 of us had just ordered a drink. He was extremely unprofessional with his approach. This is not how you conduct a business nor make your customers feel welcomed after spending a lot of hard earned money. I rather give my money business to an establishment where I am welcomed!"

"My wife and I were here a few months ago and decided to return. This was our second visit since a flood devastated the building. We began with a pitcher of Sangria and ordered Chicken with mushrooms and Shrimp stuffed with crab meat. Both entrees were delicious. A salad was served with the meal. The dining room gets quite noisy, but it's worth the noise to enjoy truly outstanding food."

"Great company, friendly service and good food. What's not to like?! The three of us had not been to Patxi's in several years so we were hoping they still serve up a good meal. The restaurant had opened at 11:30 and we walked in after watching some entertainment going on in front of the Bankhead. Other than a large party coming in for a celebration, the place was not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. The hostess greeted us and asked if we would like to sit at a tall table or a booth. We chose a booth which we found to be quite spacious. Menus and little glasses of water were brought to us promptly. Our server was gracious and sweet and he explained the pizza lunch combos. We ordered two lunch specials which consisted of a slice of pizza and choice of salad and our other friend ordered the burrata caprese sandwich (burrata, tomato, basil pesto, red onion on herb focaccia). I mentioned that there used to be an arugula salad that I still remember to this day, but I noticed it was no longer offered. Our server said they could still make it for us even though it is no longer on the menu. Sweet! My friend and I ordered the deep dish spinach and mushroom slice along with the arugula salad. The salads arrived quickly and it was a good-sized, beautiful salad with grated cheese on top. The arugula was impressively fresh! The server offered freshly ground pepper which was the perfect addition. The table behind us had ordered side Caesar salads and they looked delicious too. We enjoyed our meals and had no leftovers! Should you need a party room, they have a separate dining area next to the main dining room where the large group was celebrating their party. It was private with lots of windows to the outside. Street parking is tight especially on weekends but there is a large parking structure on the north side of First Street on Railroad. I always park on or near McLeod Street."

"We dined at this restaurant for the first time for Father's Day. The restaurant was a pleasant surprise. It felt upscale in decor and atmosphere and the full-bar area looked like a place I'd like to return to. Service was very good also. Everyone was impressed with their meals and we had an enjoyable time. Would definitely return."

"Amazing salsa !! Great service and a fun environment !!! But they need better cooks with more than one style of cooking who know how NOT to overcook all the meat they offer. ALL dishes taste very similar! All with burnt burn marks on "whatever" meat, mixed with similar spices and all well done to finish cooking. The burned cremation, like a fajitas, but for every dish? This is the second time that I had to come here with the same results ... I refuse the next time I am invited ... Maybe have a drink because the mood is good and fun ... she just need better cooks ..."

"Labor Day 2020. Our first time trying out Patxi's. After reading many reviews posted since the middle of March, it seemed like many of the complaints should not be attributed to the restaurant... we decided to phone in the order and pick it up ourselves since we are only 10 minutes away. I mentioned all the comments about the delivery service and they mentioned that they no longer use that service and had switched to their own delivery service available only on the weekends. Far and away the most delicious pizza I have had in the area! The 10 size Old Chicago pan pizza was flavorful, great crisp crust, lots of fillings and delicious sauce! They switched out the green bell pepper for more red bell pepper. I'm stuffed and I have the other half of the pie to look forward to!"

"I've visited this restaurant twice, and both experiences have been fantastic. Here are my ratings for the dishes I tried: shrimp scampi: 5/5, calamari: 4.25/5, spicy king crab pasta: 4/5, tomato vodka rigatoni: 5/5, margherita pizza: 3.75/5, cannoli (I only had the chocolate one): 4/5. The service was a bit slow at times, but they were quite busy, so it was understandable. Overall, the staff was polite and the food was excellent. I look forward to returning to try more of their offerings!"

"Took forever to get our order. Patrons came in after us, ordered appetizers and got them and later their entrees long after we had ordered. Waitress too busy being the focus of all attention in the restaurant. Food was fair, Chicken Parm (very good), and Spaghetti Carbonara (fair-have had much better). No water refills, no checking on how our food was (till after we were done eating). I ordered a Chicken Parm to go, we're just reaching.our car in the pouring rain, when another waitress came running out, stopping us and saying we were given the wrong order. YEP, Eggplant Parm was for someone else. She came out 5 minutes later with my order. Needless to say, we were very unhappy with the service. Will not be going back."

"We drove two hours for my husband's birthday brunch on Sunday. We had hoped to sit outdoors and watch the freighters go by. The outdoor patio was closed and that was sad since it was such a lovely day. This was not mentioned on their website. Our server, Tony was personable and perfect. He was the best thing about our dining experience. We won't be going back since the food was just fair and a disappointment. There were several choices but the fish was mushy, the beef and peppers were chewy, the eggs Benedict were overcooked, the bacon was too salty. The desserts were substandard. The peach cobbler was made with canned peaches, the eclairs and strudel were still frozen. My husband did like the waffles, roast beef, ham and breakfast sausages. Others had told us the food wasn't that great but we wanted to dine outdoors so we took a chance. We should have listened to our friends and family."

"The patxis in the marina has always had a strange curse of bad service. The pizzas always take a long time to come out. An hour plus if the retaurant is busy (which it rarely is). Or in my case, my large pepperoni and cheese took a full hour and 15 in a conpletley empty restaurant. My 14 year old daughter even knows that this particular retaurant always has bad service. The wait staff are nice but always seem to be in a mild panic about something and are not trained in a customer first mentality. When I had a problem with my order my server was quick to say that it was not his fault and that I read the menu wrong vs jumping to help solve the problem. Overall I have always enjoyed their thin crust pizza but I am treating my last visit as my family's last supper there and will never order or visit a Patxis again. Ten times bitten now shy."

"This restaurant is very good! I ordered a Hawaiian pizza which they didn't really know too much about surprisingly. but they did their best to make it for me and they put a lot of toppings on it. so I would say they're pizza Is a very good value for the money. In a lot of places you don't get good service. these people in this location are very good people. they try to help you. Also the sports bar setting with all the flat screens it's a really nice atmosphere. somewhere to bring your friends and just relax. A little side note I needed money for the bridge that get back home and they don't give money back like you have an option when you buy things from different places so make sure to have your money squared away but that's not a really big issue this place is a really good the restaurant. so if you're around this area definitely stop by."

"PM is one of what I consider "top drawer dining" restaurants. Customer focused staff- courteous and attentive to your needs. Good people skills are evident.The food as always is second to none. My wife and I had a lovely conversation with the manager/co-owner. Our server was a gracious young woman. Our experience at PM today and always was a "reason to come back again" experience."
