"This place needs Robert Irvine! While our server was very pleasant and attentive, the overall experience was terrible, especially the food. The atmosphere is a cheesy imitation of a German beer hall, just as noisy with none of the charm. The seating is all hard benches less comfortable than McDonalds, and the temperature was absolutely freezing. My mother and I kept our jackets on the entire meal. The food was absolutely atrocious. To start with, don’t bother to look at the online menu expecting to see the same menu in the restaurant: no Wienerschnitzel or sauerbraten, and the fish fry is only available Friday with no perch. We weren’t expecting Karl Rasch’s, but beef rouladen made with hamburger? The walleye fish fry was overcooked and dry. The schnitzels undoubtedly came from Sysco and were utterly flavorless. The potato pancakes had a strange flavor and the texture of an old tire. Even the sauerkraut was inedible. Milwaukee used to be known for the best German cuisine on this side of the Atlantic. The Bavarian Bierhaus is an absolute embarrassment to that heritage."

"great German food! we went to the German village while in columbus, as we loved German eating and we were not disappointed. After we had read some reviews, we had the pleasure that it had a huge waiting time. I cannot imagine why it is so much more popular than valter’s. we loved our food and our drinks. the service was amazing and we did not have to wait for a table. if they want good German cuisine, this is the place to go! side note, it will not be safe everywhere great reviews, as the rating is so low here. eating, drinks and service were the best notch."

"Recommended eatery. This sports bar is located in the industrial section of Longview. From the outside there seems to be ample parking but given the roll up doors to gain summer seating, parking would be harder to get. We went for lunch and seating was about half full. We were seated immediately. TV's are on every wall and there is a mix of sorts shows and music channels but weren't too loud. This sorts bar is clean but has little personality. The waitress was at our table soon after and drinks were ordered. Once the drinks arrived we ordered the Fuego burger and crispy fries. My better half ordered fish and crispy fries. They arrived soon after. I noted that the bottom bun was getting soggy (this happens when the hot patty rests on sauce try resting the burger on lettuce). Other than a soft bottom bun, the burger was good as well as the fries. They do give a generous portion of fries. My wife's fish came under cooked and cold. It was sent back and soon the replacement came. It was hot. This did is the frozen pre battered kind so it was not special. These fries were also cooked well. The building is not ADA friendly."

"If you’re in search of a spot for a quick meal with a great selection of beers and the convenience of table service, I highly recommend this place. I discovered it while waiting for a concert to start. You have the option to order either from your table or at the register. There's also a self-serve water station if you need a drink. If you're the designated driver like I was, keep in mind that sodas aren’t available on the menu; you'll need to grab them from the cooler yourself. I ordered a couple of sandwiches, which were tasty. And let me tell you, the chili was absolutely delicious! This restaurant has a friendly, local vibe that's perfect for enjoying food and drinks with friends."

"Lovely night out with friends from out of town. I didn’t take a a picture of mine but I had Veal Schnitzel which was awesome. My boyfriend and friend had the mushroom spaetzl with grilled chicken and friends daughter had the Rueben and I was pleasantly surprised that they didn’t mind leaving off sauerkraut and thousand island sauce. Jennifer was a great waitress! Loved the live music and being in the bier garden. Perfect night!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, where we savored some authentic German beers and indulged in the best charcuterie board we've ever tasted, the Jager. It was overflowing with a variety of sausages, house-made pretzel bread, and delectable sauces. We arrived quite hungry, but even then, we found it hard to finish everything. It was truly a delightful experience, and we can’t wait to return soon! The photo was taken after we started digging in. Located in the Blackstone area, the restaurant offers convenient parking, and we loved the original walls of the historic building. With a fantastic selection of beers, delicious food, and excellent service, it’s a place we highly recommend!"
