"This restaurant is popular as a local hangout with vegan and vegetarian options, which is a big plus in a town that lacks vegan dining places. The atmosphere is like a neighborhood bar trying to cater to a college crowd, with some old-fashioned tables for seating. We ordered a vegan pizza and a couple of vegan sandwiches made with fake meat, and enjoyed the meal once it arrived. The food was decent but not exceptional, more like standard pub fare. The service was fine, nothing special. We were aware of the extra charge for vegan items, but were surprised by the high upcharges of $3.99 per sandwich and $6.99 for the pizza. The prices were already high, and adding on these extra costs felt excessive. Paying $13 for a sandwich and fries or $26 for a pizza felt unreasonable, especially when there are better dining options nearby that offer better value for your money."

"Great, authentic New York Italian style restaurant! I had spinach stuffed ravioli, my wife had a penne pasta dish with mushrooms and we shared a salad with walnuts, dried cranberries, mixed greens and a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. The Italianbread was delectable. The dessert was a tough choice with Italian Cream Cake, Carrot Cake, Lemon Cream Cake and several flavorsof gelato. We settled on gelato, mocha for the lady and salted caramel for me. The wait staff was, friendly, courteous andprofessional. The service was prompt. Well worth the stop for a relaxed, romantic dinner."

"Indoor seating is limited. Be prepared to sit outside or take to-go. Restaurant is clean, and wait time is minimal. All of our pizzas were delicious: 1/2 cheese 1/2 pep for our kids, BBQ chicken and Boardwalk for the adults. 8” was the perfect size for all 3 pizzas. We’ll definitely be back. Service was friendly and fast, but they could stand to polish up their number system, as we saw many items get delivered go the wrong tables."

"I ordered delivery but never received a confirmation text or email. I called the restaurant 30 minutes after placing my order, and was told the delivery driver was about to leave. After waiting 45 more minutes and still no delivery, I tried calling again but got no answer. So, I decided to drive down to the restaurant, only to find out they were closed. I explained that I never received my food, and they offered to refund me or deliver it tomorrow. I understand it's a busy holiday, but the lack of communication and service was incredibly disappointing. I ended up ordering from another local shop and had a much better experience."

"I was looking for somewhere to eat lunch and that offered vegan options and found this spot. I haven't had pizza in a long time since I don't do cheese so was looking forward to trying. I ordered my food online and ordered the vegan wicked voodoo pasta and vegan cheesy bread. The total came to a little over $13. When I arrived the lady asked if I was picking up and I said yes. She took my name and grabbed my food. They also honored my free drink at check-in so I got a strawberry lemonade. When I got home I dug in. When I ate the pasta boy was it hot. I didn't expect it to be so spicy but it wasn't bad. I really liked the vegan cheesy bread and it tasted like the real thing. All in all I had a good experience. I want to try the vegan pizza next so I will be back."

"Got the Chicago Tavern Style Pepperoni Sausage last night. It was one of the BEST Pizzas I 've had in a LONG time. Everything from the Cheese, to the sauce, was on point. Ate 10 pieces before I even made it home..I just stopped in to pick up another (California Chicken Club). Stop in, you won 't be disappointed. I like Master Pizza because it has feel of a local spot without the 'Chain ' feel, seems more care is taken than the 'mass '-produced competition. Can 't ask for any better. I mean....just look it."

"I almost NEVER leave bad reviews. Check my profile. But this place is overpriced my small pizza with 3 toppings was almost $24 with tip. They charge you $1.75 and up per topping after the base cheese price which was $13. This things tiny. I didn't realizeuntil I was paying. The worst part is the pizza is mediocre, and when I bit into it I bit into a huge black olive seed andalmost broke my tooth. I could tell the Olives on the pizza are canned slices but I called to let them know. They are a bunch ofyoung guys, the guy that answered was just stammering until finally he said Dom the manager was going to talk to me. Domproceeded to tell me there is nothing they can do if there are olive pits in the canned Olives, and throws in a sorry aboutthat. I almost broke a tooth, its not a small thing, they need to be more aware. This has never happened to me before fromany pizza place. I will not be going back just on the price point alone but I cannot reccomend this place to anyone."

"This is my go to pizza place, and not because it's close to my house. The pizza sauce is so well seasoned and tangy. The ingredients are fresh and abundant. I've only ever had one issue, and it's that the last time I went we ordered wings that came out of the oven burnt, and when we pointed it out to the fellas working insisted they were fine and proceeded to shield us from seeing them as they got sauced. In short we were forced to pay for and eat scorched wings. That was unfortunate, as they're pretty expensive as far as wings go. But aside from this one single instance this place deserves every single star."

"I ordered two large fries and was very disappointed ! They were in to go containers and I would guesstimate it would be like getting a small fry ! So if you ever need sides of fries do not order from there it was really only enough for one person in each container ! For the price I know for a fact you can go to other local restaurants in South congaree and order a large fry and you have plenty to feed 6 ! Plus it is less expensive at other restaurants in South congaree ! And you most certainly will pay a lot less than you will pay at Big cheese ! Very disappointed !"

"I experienced extremely rude and terrible customer service at this restaurant. My family has been loyal patrons for years without any problems. Unfortunately, during my most recent visit, I received an incomplete order, and the staff refused to even try to resolve the issue. The employee I spoke with began yelling about having other customers and stated that Uber Eats would no longer be an option in the future. Additionally, a young man who usually helps in the back actually told my husband to come up and confront him. It’s hard to understand why someone would want to fight over a missed order—we're not starving and just wanted the correct food. After years of supporting this business and being part of the community, it’s disheartening to see their true colors."

"We have dined at this restaurant numerous times and have always had a pleasant experience, but our most recent visit was disappointing. We ordered two pizzas along with some cheese bread. My wife's pizza was satisfactory, but mine was missing half of its toppings, and they completely forgot the cheese bread. When I asked about it, they had to go back and make it again, but they left out the Italian seasoning and garlic butter, turning it into just a crust with melted cheese. Overall, we were not impressed. It may just have been the staff on duty, as neither of them seemed particularly engaged in their work."
