"It's hard to argue that Neighborhood Sushi isn't the best restaurant of its kind in the capital city. In fact, I would say it's even better than those other well-known Japanese sushi spots in Austin. The ambiance is delightful, making it a perfect place for a date. The service, like all the restaurants in this group, is friendly and attentive. Most importantly, the food is exceptional. There’s a wide variety of fish served on small mounds of sweet rice—delicious! The fish and other savory ingredients are wrapped in salty, crunchy seaweed sheets, reminiscent of tacos. The rolls are outstanding, guaranteed to make your taste buds dance with joy. The yellowtail tartare topped with caviar is an explosion of flavors—an absolute delight. What more can I say? Neighborhood Sushi definitely deserves the title of "highly recommended.""

"Wow, this was some of the best sushi I’ve ever had, no exaggeration! The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the rolls were creative, delicate, and absolutely delicious. The service was outstanding—both friendly and entertaining. We tried the dumplings, the Thursday roll (since it was Thursday!), and several types of nigiri that completely amazed me, especially the buttery tuna topped with sea salt and olive oil—wow! If I lived nearby, I would definitely eat here regularly. The decor was playful, but keep in mind that there is very limited seating, so I don’t think they could accommodate large groups."
