"This place became my husband and mine's go to place when our other local spot went downhill. The tacos were fantastic, they were so overfilled they would have to lay them down sideways on your plate. The tortillas were big, two tacos was plenty to eat and for an extra $2 bucks with change you could make it a meal deal with some fire beans and rice. MAN this place gave every other mexican joint in the neighborhood a run for their money. They could not be beat......but like all good things it apparently has come to an end. Yesterday was so bad not only do I wish I had gotten a refund, I wish I could paid for pain and suffering. The chips we got for chips and salsa were cold, soggy and tasted of old lard. I am normally not one to ever send anything back but I know eating any more of those chips would have led to a long night on the toilet. Luckily the second batch was actually warmed and had been salted and were not chewy. To our surprise the tacos were small, my steak tacos had chewy grisly pieces and the rice was hard and dried out. It also did not last long hot which to me was a pretty big indication it had been nuked. We had ordered cebollitas (grilled knob onions) and I am pretty confident that Alien busting out of someone's chest looks less gruesome then those onions did. I am not sure how one could make onions so dried out that the outer layers are ruptured and the inside is still dry? Not sure if this restaurant is familiar with Kitchen Nightmares but maybe they should request the help of Gordon Ramsey and retire Chef Mic (microwave) before they let their quality slide any further into despair. #GordonRamsey #NotAKaren #FellowMexicanHere #ThisPlaceMexicant"
