"I have eaten at Woody's many times but this is my first review of it. If you follow me, you will remember that I am partial to Prime Rib. Just like the Chicken Fried Steak is the touchstone of any Diner, so is the Prime Rib for any Fine Dining restaurant. The thing is, Woody's is more of a Roadhouse, but their Prime Rib can compete with those white tablecloth establishments. Woody's offers Prime Rib Dinners on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday only and only after 4:00 PM. The portion served is huge (see my photo and is accompanied by a big baked potato, au jus, and horseradish sauce. (If I had to fault the plate, it would be that they do not include a vegetable but, frankly, there is more than enough to satisfy almost any appetite. The meat was tender and juicy and cooked spot on to my preferred doneness of medium rare. Woody's coats the roast with a peppery dry rub, which is a perfect complement to the meat. The price (as of this writing is $24.99, and has not risen since before COVID. To their credit, unlike many places, Woody's does not tack on a surcharge. I added a small green salad (bleu cheese dressing, of course and an Arnold Palmer to drink (free refills , bringing my tab to $32.47, not including a 25% tip. Three cheers to Woody's for offering a 10% discount to active and retired military, police, and fire personnel. (Please note: This discount can only be applied to regular menu items and, since it is a week end special, the Prime Rib is not eligible. By the way, Woody's has a very complete menu, so don't be put off if you're not a carnivore. I have never had a bad meal or a poor experience at Woody's so, with confidence, I can say that Woody's is Highly Recommended."

"The service was great. The waiter was attentive and friendly. The menu is HUGE. 24 Sections, 184 items, plus various combinations. The food was lackluster. Absolutely no seasoning of any kind, not even salt and pepper. The country fried steak was a chicken patty, not beef. The Broasted chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside...but not a speck of seasoning to be found. The stars are for the service."

"I 've been going here for years. Food is still great, especially the breakfast burritos! Someone mentioned that after the reopening, the burritos are now half the size. I don 't even remember them selling 16 burritos. See my photo for proof, as an 8 burrito is pretty big. The single meat is $9.99 (slightly up from the previous $8.99) and the 3-meat is $10.99 (up from $8.99). Rest assured, the food quality hasn 't dipped at all, and the renovations look great. I 'm happy to see it back up and running!"

"I stopped by for breakfast/ brunch the ‘Canopy Road Cafe’. Outdoor and indoor seating. Very urban and quaint . You can sit at the bar location or be seated in booth( booths were full did not want to impose on people eating behind the waiting area their are regular seating tables w/chairs. Today, I chose the cookies and cream pancakes. It was chocolate dream.. honestly, you won’t need the syrup or butta.. i was literally eating a chocolate delight for breakfast. Yes, you do taste the cocoa in the pancake, it’s not just food coloring added to the mix .. with the added crunch of the Oreos, it added a nice texture , but , I still felt like I was dipping an Oreo in milk since it had the added icing on top.. I added eggs and bacon to the order.. they are fresh eggs, not liquid and the bacon was nicely crisp.. will go back again.. gluten free options on the menu.."

"We happened upon this restaurant while heading to the Chain of Lakes, and we were so fortunate to find it! I ordered the Pozole, and it was amazing—full of flavor and served in a gigantic bowl, accompanied by tostadas. My family really enjoyed their sandwiches and soup, and the server was incredibly welcoming. I highly recommend visiting this place. It's unfortunate that we live so far away, but we will definitely come back!"

"I stumbled upon this diner and decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised by the veggie skillet, which was absolutely delicious. Usually, when I order a veggie skillet, it tends to be bland and lacking in flavor, but this one was the exception. It was brimming with flavor, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection, giving them that delightful charred grill taste. The Mexican skillet was also outstanding! It was skillfully prepared, avoiding the common practice of just piling a bunch of jalapeños on top, as many diners do. The staff here are friendly and seem to genuinely care about their customers, consistently working hard to provide fast and tasty meals. This place has quickly become one of my favorite spots for breakfast."

"I went to check this place out after seeing their Monday spaghetti with meat sauce special posted in the Omaha Food Lovers group on Facebook. It's a little hole in the wall type bar hidden off of 16th in a residential area in Council Bluffs. A little loud inside, but clearly it's a go-to for locals. Couple of pool tables and a dart board. The food was good. For $7, you get a plate of spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic bread, and a side salad. The spaghetti was good, but their meat sauce was a little liquidy. It would be better if they thickened it up, and they had parmesan cheese to top it with. Their soup of the day was Zuppa Toscana like Olive Garden has, but obviously homemade instead of mass produced like OGs is. Very tasty, but a little bit more spicy. All of this including a drink was $13. Very good food, good prices. They had lots of daily specials and signs said they do breakfast all day, which is pretty cool. I will have to try and check them out another time."

"our first time trying this restaurant. The food wasnt bad. However, the eggs on my eggs Benedict were over cooked(hard) We also ordered pancakes with strawberries and they put the strawberries on top pancakes which resulted in cooked, wilted strawberries, by the time they got to us. Would be better to put fruit on side in separate containers. Breakfast potatoes were very good. I might not order breakfast here again. But might try other things."

" I would give 0 if I could. I was a server for a number of years. The rudest service I have had in my life! It's a hamburger/hotdog type place, but definitely not kid friendly. I have 3 yr old triplet boys. We normally get tons of complements on how well behaved our kids our while out eating. A manger came over at a different place to complemented us...said they were amazed! The moment I walked in the door the waitress gave us dirty looks. Took over 10 mins to take our drink order. While sighing with obvious attitude. She took the people's food orders that came in after us before even taking our drink orders. Another 15 minutes to take our food order. Of course my kids were getting restless. It crossed my mind that she was hoping we would just get up and leave...wish we had. All of my boys were turned around in the booth looking out the glass window and touching it. One of them tried twice to climb over the seat to the window...where by I promptly got on to him and he stopped and didn't try again. The manager decided to come over (when he was not even on the window I will add) and tell me not to let them climb up on the window it was not safe. Well duh! I told him I was trying. One kid spilled a drink during all this waiting. I finally just told my sister that we need to leave they obviously do not want us here. As we were getting up to leave my sister bumped her drink glass and knocked it off the table. The waitress literally scream "IF YOU CANT CONTROL YOUR KIDS, YOU WILL HAVE TO LEAVE". You could have heard a pin drop. Everyone was looking as we got up to leave. Waitress may have been having a bad day, but that behavior is unacceptable."

"I really dislike writing negative reviews, but I feel it's necessary to share my experience. The waitstaff at this restaurant were incredibly rude and could benefit from a refresher on customer service etiquette. There’s no reason for eye-rolling and a negative attitude when there were no issues at all. To make matters worse, they didn’t provide any to-go silverware, napkins, or condiments, which was frustrating. The only exception was the young lady at the front who was kind and welcoming. Aside from the unpleasant attitudes of the other staff, the vegetarian enchilada was decent, though not exceptional. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning to this restaurant. Overall, I would rate it a 1/10."

"Burger and fries aren’t all that great. Burger is a bit dry.. needs some mayo atleast. Too much lettuce and a sour tomatoe. What helped the meal was the fries.. they’re pretty good. Breakfast is good here but man the prices are insane. I just paid $18 for a burger and fries with a drink. They shouldn’t of changed the burger up. A few years back the burger was much different and it was definitely a 5 star burger. I’d rate it 2 stars only, but the fries were good so I bumped it up a notch."

"I visited here on 11/5/21 around 12:10pm to have lunch with co workers as it was my last day at my job. It was 7/8 of us. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. If it wasn’t cold, we would’ve sat outdoors because indoors was very small. Luckily, inside was very warm but it was borderline hot. Before sitting, you have to enter your license plate to validate parking. I would take a picture of your license plate if you don’t know it. The waitress came at 12:22pm to take drink order and returned at 12:27pm with drinks. Everyone finished ordering 12:32pm. I got the stuffed French toast with strawberries and cream. It was pretty delicious. The wait was long to get our food food. However, it seemed as if they were short staffed. When we were done eating, we waited well over 30 minutes to get our checks. On top of that, they brought out one check… It was very confusing. We were told they had a new payment system and didn’t know how to completed work it. When they split it, several checks were out of order. Overall, horrible experience while trying to pay. One upside is the option to pay online. You can pay regularly if need be though. I’m not sure if I would return or not to this location. I’ve been to other locations in VA and NC with better experiences. The staff was friendly and I could they were working and doing the best they could."

"Wow! When we walked in, not a single table was clean. One of the four young girls eventually got up to wipe a table, but then she used the same rag to clean the floor and tossed it onto the next table. Throughout our visit, all four of them sat at a front table on their phones, showing no effort to tidy up. It wasn't until a mother and her two young children arrived that anyone bothered to clean a table, and even then, they used that same dirty rag. It was incredibly unprofessional, disgusting, and unsanitary! I will never come back to this restaurant again."

"This Dairy Queen is quite impressive! The staff is friendly, which adds to the experience. The drive-thru was a bit slow, but that's understandable since everything is made to order. However, I do have one concern: why are they still closing so early? Covid is behind us, and to be honest, Valdosta never really took it too seriously. It feels like the owner is still using Covid as an excuse to cut back on staffing, just like many other businesses. Even Walmart has restricted hours. Let's not forget that being open is the first step in providing good customer service."

"First I will start by the food is great. If your are looking for the general bar food with a little extra care this is it. Burgers cooked on point, great fries season to perfection. I had the cheesesteak, not your typical Philly meat but actual skirt steak(possibly) cooked really well. The bartender fabulous, very friendly, had a great sense of humor all around enjoyable person. So here’s where my two stars come in…. Saturday night 7:30 place had 3 people, that was including my husband and I. I get it times are tough, but the ABSOLUTE put off was when you walk in the door. It smelled as if they were covering up a dead body. To make it worse a cleaning lady decided to mop the floors with a solution mixed with the smell of a urinal mint and day old sani-hut. My two cents mop at closing and not under your customers #barrescue"
