"Angelo and his family have been a staple in the community for some time now. If ever I'm in Bushwick, this is my taco spot. Cholula is the type of place that after you order to go or dine in and receive your food, you see the price was well worth it. Cholula is dedicated to giving you bang for your buck. Every overloaded taco is worth a try, especially the newly added fish tacos. Their Tlacoyos, Enchiladas de Mole, are always my go-to. It's nice to see the generations of this family grow up and get involved and give a helping hand with the business, something you hardly see anymore. "I LOVE their food. I apos;m a picky eater. I love white meat, I never eat the skin but baybeee when I see I eat everything from this chicken (minus the bones of course lol),, I eats everything okay. "The bald head man is amazing perfect service he is very kind food was good however, one of the female workers the one with butterflies tatted on her arm she came at us very rude. My husband asked her excuse me can we please get orange juice and water and she responded who is it for you or her. I was so shocked to even answer I just looked at him then her . She acknowledged she was being rude. Maybe under stress I have no idea but it was weird."

"I was so looking forward to eat at this restaurant as my friend has been going here for many years since the time she lived in BX until now years after moving to the DC area. She has always raved about their food so we knew it was a must to stop by there last night to get our plates of food to take with us back home. We bought rez guisado con arroz y habichuelas. She also bought a small portion of chicken guisado because she noticed the portion of the rez guisado they served was small. Everyone’s demeanor seemed as though they were just ready to just close shop and be on their way. Granted it was late when we arrived (around closing) but there was still food available and rendering proper customer service and good food is a must at any hour for a food establishment. One particular lady was not very pleasant and when I tried to carry a short conversation with her about how we were taking the food back home to show how excited we were, she didn’t say a word to me until I repeated the comment to her in Spanish twice more loudly the second time (although politely) so she could tell I knew she was being rude. Her reaction when she did respond was “ah ok” and then she proceeded to serve the rest of my order. Also my portion of red beans/habichuelas were served in a small plastic container and when I opened it today to reheat my plate of food at home there was literally no beans and nothing but the sauce in the container (check the pictures). The rez guisado was basically three chunks of meat with three potatoes and barely any sauce was added. The yellow rice was very dry as well. Overall the taste of the food was mediocre and so was the service. My friend says the quality of the food has definitely changed and for my first experience it will definitely be the last."

"I was trying to find a cuban restaurant similar to the Versailles Cuban restaurant in West LA. White rice, black beans and sweet plantains brought back great memories. We started w empanadas, couldn't wait for them to cool and so yummy we burnt our mouths. You could split one (there are 2 esp if you're getting a plate. I had the fried pork, daughter had mofongo (Jo Koy, is this similar to what you talk about? . That had green plantains, sweet plantains and yucca. THEN they add meat and rice. Mofongo would be enough. It's alot of food! AC was getting repaired so it was super hot and stuffy. Don't forget to try the adult capri sun! Definitely want to try more."

"The food is fantastic, especially the birria tacos, which have become my favorite. The delivery is quick. However, there is an important issue with the phone service. Whenever I call, the girl either puts me on hold or hangs up. I manage to place my order, but she often doesn't respond. I've even called up to three times without getting an answer. They should really look into this issue. Thank you!"
