"When we walked in, it was dark and LOUD because it was karaoke night. We were a bit lost since there was no hostess or staff in sight. We made our way to the back by the bar and asked if we could sit anywhere. A woman curtly told us to go back to the front and that she would help us. This interaction felt quite dry and rude, and we exchanged skeptical glances. However, she followed us back to the front, only to lead us right back to the back and seat us at the table we had been eyeing. The menu on the phone had updated prices, but it was a bit confusing, so we found the paper menu much clearer. We ordered a chimichanga meal, a Delicia's fajita combo, and two single orders of steak tacos, along with drinks. Everything arrived quickly, but getting service from our waitress was like pulling teeth! The steak tacos were disappointing—I wouldn't order those again. The steak was definitely not grade A; more like B or even C quality! However, my fajita combo was fantastic! It was fresh, flavorful, and abundant. The other dish looked good too, as the person I was with licked his plate clean, which made us laugh. The karaoke was a lot of fun! I would definitely return just to enjoy the ambiance and laughs again. There were some colorful characters among the patrons, and in the end, our waitress turned out to be friendly—albeit a bit scatterbrained but in a bubbly way."

"The food was overly salty. Their take on a fajita resembled more of a cheeseburger, as it was buried under an excessive amount of cheese, which is not typical for fajitas. The tortilla soup was decent, but the enchiladas were very salty, and I ended up leaving half of my meal behind. I have no urge to return."

"Went to this restaurant on Mothers Day. i am Puertorrican and was looking forward to some good puertorrican food. I ordered the puertorican lasagna and it was awful. Puertorican food is not spicy any chef would know that . This dish was too spicy for me, my son and my husband( who loves spicy food) would not eat it. Their food is expensive Mexican food. my daughter ordered tacos and was charged extra for lettuce and tomatoes in the tacos. My husband ordered the quesadillas and they were greasy and soggy. They charge for everything including extra chips for the guacamole. Their drinks are expensive also. Because we had six people in our party they automatically included a 22% tip. I was very disappointed and will not return."

"Nice place very colorful. BYOB and they made us our sangria while we waited for the other couple to show. Tasted good with little pieces of fruit was nice change. The guys had ground beef enchiladas which were filled nicely and bubbly hot with melted cheese. Tasted very fresh. One of the ladies had taco salad which was big and nice amount of shredded chicken. Other one got a triple combo with enchilada, chimichanga and burrito. First two had ground beef last had shredded chicken. All were good although she seem to taste a curry flavor with the red sauce. Neither of us boys elthat had enchiladas with the red sauce had that flavor though. Service was fast and friendly. We asked if they had a military discount and they came back with 10% discount which was nice. Great place all around!"

"When the burrito finally arrived—surprisingly after only three minutes—it didn’t look right. The melted cheese was unevenly positioned, mostly to one side, rather than evenly covering the top of the burrito. Additionally, there was neither ground beef nor sour cream as the waiter had described. After a few bites, I found the burrito to be cold and inedible. I brought this to the waiter’s attention, and he spoke with the manager on duty. To my astonishment, the waiter informed me that there was nothing he could do about it. I was taken aback, especially since I had eaten less than half of the burrito. When the manager came over, he was quite rude and remarked, “You should have told us sooner.” I explained that I’ve dined there before and that he recognized my regular order. Despite my insistence, he was hesitant to offer a replacement and ultimately gave me a discount instead. Feeling dissatisfied, I left the uneaten burrito behind and made it clear that I would never return to this establishment. This experience was marked by poor service, slow response times, and subpar food quality. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this place."

"Have eaten here before and had good service. Tonight the waitress could not take my order because “no english understand”. She went to get Mgr. I observed her tell two ladies pointing at me. Both ladies continued socializing with a group at other end of restaurant. After watching them for 15 minutes with no help or acknowledgement, I left. I won’t be back."

"My boyfriend and I have begun a new monthly tradition of having our date nights at this restaurant. I recall my first visit; it’s easy to miss since it’s quite small, but the flavors are incredible. The food is always outstanding, and the staff is friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home. I highly recommend giving this place a try. The prices are very reasonable, and the combination of delicious food with attentive, friendly service is consistently impressive."

"They followed my cooking temperature request perfectly for the steak, and they actually paid attention to the special instructions I provided. They really went the extra mile to ensure my order was correct and included those a la carte items. I was extremely pleased with their effort. I even placed a secondary order from Dollar General to cover any items I thought the restaurant might forget, but thankfully, they didn’t overlook anything! My only complaint concerns the Guacamole Dip. I’ve ordered it many times before, but this time was disappointing. I ordered a large, expecting it to be like usual, but it turned out to be watery—almost drinkable, like a thin melted milkshake—especially for nearly $11. I had to strain the liquid out before I could even think about eating it, but it remained watery. The portion of Arroz Con Queso was great, though the side of rice was a bit small for the price. The Guacamole Dip was a total letdown, while the salsa with chips was good and the large bag of chips complemented the order nicely."

"Absolutely delicious and flavorful food! It was one of the best Mexican meals I had. Unfortunately, the over the top loud music kills the ambiance, and the service is shady, at best. Went for a quick bite on Saturday, the music was very, very overwhelming, you couldn 't even think, let alone have a conversation with your company. Think you going eat at a club laud. Then, when it came to pay, we were automatically charged a gratuity, and there were only 3 of us, so not a large party. The tax was calculated based on the total amount due, including the automatic tip. Since when is this a norm? When we asked the waitress, for an explanation, she couldn 't give us a straight answer. She said, Because it 's Saturday, we add tip automatically. Yeah, not buying it. Bottom line, I might Door Dash it going forward."

"The cafeteria-style food display and the delicious aromas will transport you right back to your Abuela’s kitchen, making it hard not to order one of everything! The servers are friendly and happy to explain the various dishes, so don't hesitate to ask questions. One of the best features is that you don’t have to choose just one dish for your plate! Instead, you can select a variety of items. For example, you could enjoy a plate with Guisado de Res (savory stewed beef) alongside Pollo con Mole (chicken in mole sauce), all served with your choice of corn or flour tortillas. There’s also a separate menu for other options. On weekends, they offer Menudo, as well as chicken soup, Fideo (my personal favorite), and beef soup. The prices are quite reasonable, making it a must-try spot when you’re in Chicago! After your meal, you'll definitely want to take a nice long walk, so be sure to check out the grocery store next to the parking lot. It’s filled with a variety of goodies, meats, fresh produce, and great prices. I could easily spend an hour there just browsing through all the different spices and food delicacies—it's a treasure for food lovers!"

"The large red lamp shades make the bar side of the place more interesting. Decent Mexican food including a couple of nicely cooked skirt steak offers the carne asada was quite flavorful and surprisingly tender. The carnitas tacos were tasty. The queso fundido w chorizo was good but the proportion of chorizo to cheese was off needed more than a sprinkling of chorizo. Did NOT appreciate the waiter bringing two cadillac margaritas at each when I ordered the House traditional margarita. To make the matter worse, the cadillac tasted no better than the traditional and just somewhat bigger in goblets as oppose to a glass at a significant mark up. Crazy busy on Cinco de Mayo. Should have paid more attention to what was served"

"I have eaten at many restaurants in my time and this one had by far the worst tasting food of any place that I have ever been. My girlfriend and I stopped trying to eat after a few bites. The taste of the food that we ordered was horrible with a weird aftertaste that was just as difficult to get rid of as it is to describe it. I ordered nachos and she ordered steak quesadillas, simple stuff that one would think would be difficult to screw up. Wrong. On top of that the items on the menu are waaay overpriced, 4 dollars for a can of coke with no refills, service was abysmal, the place is loud and raucous, and the men who used the restroom behind where we were sitting did not close the door as they stood at the urinal and did not wash their hands afterwards. A completely miserable and disgusting experience all the way around. If you like terrible food, terrible service, and ridiculously high prices then this is your place. A simple order of nachos, quesadillas, and two cokes with tip was $45.00. Don't order the lobster if you go either. That will run you around $90.00. Unbelievable, really. The worst of the worst. If I could give this place a negative 5 star rating I would gladly do it. Caveat Emptor."

"We were seated right away that was the best part of the dinner . The waiter was never there , he only took our order and checked back when we were done. The combo fajitas were one of the worst I ever had go to Chile’s instead . The chicken and steak was over cooked , dry and tasteless . The tortillas were hard as well . The only good thing about the plate was the rice . My girl hacked the carneasada tacos. No flavor and dry over cooked meat. We won’t be returning to this Restaurant. Very disappointed."
