"This place was quite busy when I sat down for lunch. Unlike many taquerias, San Miguel operates liked a regular Mexican restaurant instead of a grocery store atmosphere. I was seated quickly and brought the infamous chips salsa right away. At first glance I thought the salsa was going to be average but that turned out to be wrong. It had quite a nice tangy flavor that kept me eating it for way too long. My addiction to chips salsa is well documented. The chips were a yellow corn variety and were of a medium thickness. This being my first time I struggled with what to order a bit but couldn 't get past trying the Birria Tacos I saw on Google Maps. The food came quickly and I was ready to dive in. A BIT OF A WARNING: These tacos were quite messy and required about 3 large napkins to eat! 3 tacos came on the plate accompanied by a salad, Birria dipping sauce, and a green hot sauce. I found myself opening the tacos and putting a squirt of green hot sauce, and then dipping them in the Birria sauce. While the tacos were quite tasty, I don 't think they were as good as the Chica Tacos at Ramirez. A few downsides: The tacos were incredibly greasy and contained a lot more fat than I would prefer in a taco. (I don 't prefer fat in a taco. "
