"While I'm sure many guests have delightful experiences at Bandol, our visit was unfortunately not without issues. We clearly communicated a food allergy in both our reservation notes and at the start of our meal, yet the staff still made several mistakes. This led to our party being served at different times, interrupting the flow of our dining experience. To add to the disappointment, a table that was seated after us received the same appetizer we had ordered, only to be informed later that the kitchen could no longer serve any more of that dish, which seemed to be based on valid reasons. This was understandably disappointing. On a positive note, the restaurant did make sincere efforts to accommodate us and correct the situation once they recognized the mistakes. Their proactive response to our concerns was appreciated. Overall, the food quality and ambiance at Bandol are quite impressive. However, I recommend caution for anyone with food allergies, as extra vigilance is especially necessary here, particularly for those with severe or life-threatening allergies."
