"Many many years ago (at least 20, probably more) I visited the original spot on mamaroneck, and hated the hotdog. It was white and an odd flavor, it tasted as unappetizing as it looked. I never could understand the line around the block. Fast forward to a few months ago, my husband was dying to go to the one in White Plains, so he did and when I saw what he got, it looked really good and I decided I 'd have to give them another chance one day. Today was that day we stopped by for lunch and got the 'small family deal '. The deal includes 6 dogs, 2 orders of fries and 1 order of either funnel cake fries or cinnamon sticks. The dogs are simple, fully split in half with ketchup and mustard (if you want), we got curly and regular fries and the funnel cake fries. Drinks and nacho dipping cheese were extra, but worth it. The hotdogs were so good!!! I didn 't really like the curly fries as much as I used to, the regular fries were perfection (thin and no skin) I couldn 't even put in to words how delicious the funnel fries were. Honestly we were both full after 2 dogs, but stuffed a 3rd one in. We took home all the fries, and even cold a few hours later, they were yummy. The staff is so friendly and helpful and the food comes out FAST AND HOT. They have various bun options, and deals, and many drinks from soda to shakes to beer. I will definitely be back again and have to try a shake."
