"In general, this restaurant is decent. However, on Sundays they have a special for $7 High Life pitchers. We ordered two of those and a Bloody Mary, which ended up costing us $41. That seems like a pretty expensive Bloody Mary, right? Turns out, the clean-shaven bartender upstairs made a mistake and charged us incorrectly. The bartender with facial hair was great, but the clean-shaven one charged us $41 for our order and when we asked about it, he completely ignored us. He turned his back and refused to address the issue. The lack of respect and unwillingness to admit mistakes was disappointing. Other than that, it's not a bad place, but make sure to double-check your receipts and avoid the clean-shaven bartender upstairs."

"This diner is excellent! The menu can be a bit overwhelming since they offer a wide range of options, from breakfast dishes to various burgers and sandwiches, as well as dinner options. The staff was not only friendly but very welcoming as well. While the prices are on the higher side—around $14 per meal and $11 for a kids' meal (which includes dessert, a nice touch for the little ones)—I suppose food prices are rising in general. It's definitely family-friendly, and if you're looking for a great dining experience, this is the place to visit."

"We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Peppercorn Grille and we couldn't have chosen a better restaurant. We chose to dine inside and were seated at a center table covered in elegant linens. We started our meal with a delicious fruity wine recommended by our server. For dinner we both chose Filet Mignon and it was so tender. Our side dishes were garlic potatoesso yummy and veggies a variety : excellent. Since it was our anniversary we were pleasantly surprised with lava cake for dessert. It was out of this world and oozing with chocolate sauce. The service we were given from arrival to departure was friendly and professional. I would recommend making a reservation because there were many parties waiting to be seated whereas we were seated immediately with our reservation. Overall we made an excellent choice in dining and will definitely return"

"This is a fantastic spot to enjoy drinks with friends or family. They offer both indoor and outdoor bar areas, complete with a lovely view of the river. During my visit, there was a live band, and although it attracted a good crowd, there was still plenty of space to move around comfortably. If you're interested in taking something home, they also have a separate building featuring a wide selection of packaged drinks. I highly recommend visiting on a nice day or evening to fully appreciate the atmosphere and have a great night out. I will definitely return the next time I get the chance, as it’s a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy a drink."

"Maybe they were just having an off day, but the service was downright awful on the Friday afternoon we visited. Our very simple order took a long time to prepare and was missing two items that never arrived. Our waitress seemed very sweet but she vanished for long stretches of time. Normally I'd chalk this up to being busy, but we ate at 3:30.pm, with the restaurant barely half full."

"For my first time coming to this establishment, I had a great experience with my grandmother who was celebrating her birthday. The food was delicious and our server Alyssa was fantastic and was so sweet! I would definitely recommend coming to this restaurant."

"After reading the reviews I was looking forward to eating here. Unfortunately the best thing we had was the dessert. We both ordered a salad and my mom's had large chunks of the core of the lettuce. I ordered veal marsala which was dry and salty. I ordered baked ziti for my mom and she got ziti with meat sauce. I sent it back and it came back with mozzarella melted on the top. She never got the baked ziti with ricotta. It wasn't that busy at the time so very disappointed in the food and won't go back."

"Food probly got down graded due to the horrible experience. On a business trip, seen this place needed reservations, to help staff and to come in knowing what I want due to late night and hungry. The table was super sticky. I didn't notice this right away due to knowing what I want in advance, place my order and see that my table feels like ots bathed in soda. Tried 3 times to get someone's attention to clean it. But everyone is always racing by. Even my waitress would drop food of in mid stride and gone. To top it all off, I found a bug crawling across my table. By the time I had enough I just paid and left. I wanted to just flip out on the lack of customer attention, poor house keeping, and bugs!"

"The server ?Smiley? was exceptional. Full of life, and very knowledgeable. I would go back just for her service. The tzatziki was excellent. Wish they sold it to go. The grilled octopus was a good portion but I?ve had better. Recipe could be improved on. The rice pilaf side was very small. The Greek salad was very oily. The 5 course presentation was very nice and again our waitress was the best. She made the experience worthwhile. Hopefully next time they start serving Mythos beer. We will go back."

"I 'm staying at the Best Western right across from the establishment, so I decided to try the food. I called in to place my order because I 'm just not feeling peoplely . To my total and utter shock I waited on hold for 23 minutes, so I walked over. First checking to see what could possibly be the hold up. there was about five tables and an almost full bar, I did see a sign stating they had a company party. A female bartend said I 'll be right with you and continued her conversation then walked down the bar. I asked a young man who was holding up the wall for the manager he promptly got him. I showed the manager that I called to place a to go order and I was then told the soup was shut down and I responded, I would know if I wasn 't left on hold. The manager nice and understanding said if we still have some I will be right out with it. Took him about 2 minutes and he was right out, I tried to pay but he gave it to me on the house. THE CREAM OF CRAB SOUP IS A HIT, gonna have to grab a bowl before checking out. Even though the hold was long I 'd give them a second chance. Parking: Had plenty of parking."

"We have been coming here for a few years now for Thanksgiving and for Easter for the Holiday Buffet. The price is reasonable and the food is good. I would prefer if the plates were warm because some of the food gets cold by the time you get back to your table. The people serving you are nice and try to stay on top of things(drinks, clearing table, the meat carver and hot foods). The salad bar is the greatest I have ever had so far. The cream of turkey soup this last Thanksgiving was fantastic as was the fresh sliced meats they had."

"We waited 25 minister being seated and no one came to the table. When she finally approached the table it was to say she would be back to take drink orders after she finished with another table. Finally a young man came to the table took our drink orders and then our dinner order. He was awesome. The service started off horrible but ended up being great. I had fried haddock and it needed seasoning and it was dry. The chips were very good. My side salad was mainly iceberg lettuce and about 4 pieces of tomato. Others said their food was really good. I think maybe an off night but definitely would try again."

"Rockwood talks a good game about their burgers being the best but that isn't the case. Sure, you can make them on the premises from a mixture of ground meats, etc. but they don't taste any better than any number of places. And what's the point anyway when a table like ours orders one medium-rare, one medium, and one medium well and they all come out the same (medium well). I guess the cook thinks he or she is a baseball player batting Pretty good, right? Uh, no."

"I went in here to get a mobile order and said how's everyone doing loud and clear. No one said anything back. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had just trying to pick up food. Yes I said trying because their attitudes were so bad I didn't even wanna pick up that food so I canceled it. I'm glad I only ate here once and go figure the food was....subpar. I figured it's a no brainer it would match the hospitality. One girl literally half way threw the tray at me across the counter with tons of attitude. That's when I knew I wouldn't be the one picking up this order. Good luck to whoever did they are horrible in there. I didnt make you work at Wimpy's. ?"

"First and foremost, the service was terrible! None of our orders were correct. The chicken wrap was missing lettuce, the quesadilla was flat and mostly empty with raw vegetables instead of the sautéed ones we expected, and the fries were hot on the outside but cold on the inside. Each person at our table received their food at different times, and the appetizer (cheese sticks) arrived last and was cold. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. To make matters worse, we were the only customers in the restaurant, so it’s not like they were overwhelmed. I had to give it one star, but it definitely deserves less. I will not be returning, and I do not recommend this place to anyone. Additionally, they only accepted cash."

"We waited over half an hour for our fried green beans and another half hour for our two salads, despite the restaurant not being busy at all. The fried green beans were decent, and my wife really enjoyed her chicken salad. On the other hand, I loved the flavor of my shrimp, but they were so salty that I ended up leaving four of them on my plate. I only finished the others because we were very hungry. This was our first visit as we like to try different places. As a cook who went to culinary school in Pittsburgh, I find it perplexing why some restaurants over-salt their dishes. Customers can easily add more salt if they want it, as it's readily available on the table. Unfortunately, it seems many places add salt before even tasting their food."

"First, the reservation was booked for low table seating and instead we sat at bar stool table tops. A few more people did show up than what our reservation was for, but the place was not busy at all. But we received a lot of attitude for the extra business we provided them. It took forever to get our food order taken. Our waitress said she was just taking drink orders even on her third pass. When we finally did get our food some complained the some items such as French fries were cold. We waited over minutes with our food in front of us before napkins and silverware were served. A guest at our table had to go find them. And finally some of our checks were messed up. When we have a group booking we will find somewhere else as they just cannot seem to accommodate."

"Always a great location with nice surrounding. Waitstaff is always great. But the speed of the bar and kitchen are consistently lacking. Is there only one bartender for the whole restaurant? It shouldn’t take 15 minutes to get a drink every time. This has been the case the last couple of visits and needs to be fixed. Prices are creeping above competition."
